The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre takes place during 14th Century China during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, roughly 100 years after the events of Return of the Condor Heroes. After decades of struggles, famine, and bitterness which the Chinese citizens blamed on the Yuan Dynasty's misgovernment, the Martial Arts sects have begun to rebel. Acting/Cast: 7.5/10 ehhhhhh... I don't like any of the cast but they were ok. The choreography sucked lol. Those fake effects totally ruin all the serious mood. This is so lame lol. I prefer the 86 version over this because they didn't look so fake. I don't like the outfits.

Rewatch Value: lol I would not rewatch this...
Overall: 7.5/10 it was ok. if you enjoy the fake modern wuxia effects then give it a try but otherwise go for the 86 version. speaking honestly, this drama failed so bad as an adaptation to the old drama... sorry.
