In The Know with Purplenette Cheongdam-dong is the seat of wealth and prestige in Korean high society, but an ugly, deeply rooted scandal shakes it to its core when a woman who is determined to get pregnant learns that she is being deceived by the family (her mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and her husband) she was married into, and discovering that the building designer (whose mother supposedly had died) that she just befriended was a person she saved when she was a young girl. Im sorry. Worst drama
Dont hate me if you liked this story ok..The drama started out nice and decent but plsss very very draggy. Actually it was my mom who finished it to the end. I just want to take note that the FL is too stupid. Like i understand there were innocent peeps in real life but its very annoying when played in drama. Safe to say like dora who needs someone to guide her bruhh.
Also the ending?? Wtf after all that happened she just chose to be single? Whats the point of everything?

The Peasants of Cheongdamdong
The synopsis is wildly misleading, there was no global Korean high society scandal. Everything was confined to a small scale within the characters' lives only. The synopsis is trying hard to sell it as a grand story on a big scale. Anyway, the drama left me utterly disillusioned, as it offered nothing but the same tired and rancid formula without a single redeeming quality to make it stand out. From the poor setup to the uninspired characters, it quickly unraveled with repetitive plotlines, and convenient coincidences that were a big stretch even for a makjang, lacking any semblance of originality or creativity. While some dramas manage to take familiar tropes and breathe new life into them, this one offered nothing but a bland and forgettable viewing experience. The cast members were average, doing what they can to get the drama to the finish line.Was this review helpful to you?
