Jao Sua Leng, the 2nd generation dragon heir to Mongkorn Waree. He arranged for a celebration to introduce his project that cost more than a billion without listening to the objection from his left hand, Lao Ngow, a close friend of his dad who helped build his family's fortune. Lao Ngow was jealous and wanted to get rid of Jao Sua Leng by sending Duangkae to be Jao Sua's lover so she can spy for him. During the banquet a group of hitmen invaded and shot many people there dead including Jao Sua's wife and his kid (s). Jao Sua narrowly escaped death with the help of Praosaeng, a waitress there. She took care of him and the two felt in love resulting in her pregnancy. The hitmen caught up with the two, in fear of his wife and child's safety Jao Sua arranged for them to escape before him. He bestowed upon his unborn child a red dragon jade, the family treasure and vowed to come back to get them after he deal with the bad guys. But Praosaeng wasn't able to escape the hitmen who came after her. Jao Sua was able to escape death this time because of Duangkae, his mistress. Lao Ngow was served with the allegation of trying to assassinate Jao Sua and was sentenced to life in prison. Daungkae backstabbed Lao Ngow because she wanted Manop, her 5 years old son with him to become the heir Jao Sua's fortune despite the fact that Manop is not Jao Sua's real son. Twenty years later, Yok, a young man with a bright future will soon graduate from the Royal Police Cadet Academy despite being an orphan and living in the slum. He was raised by an ex-boxer who now opened a school that teaches boxing to young kids. He told Yok that he discovered Yok's mother who was injured and decided to help her. He was able to save her until she passed away after giving birth to Yok. She refused to tell him the father of the baby, with only the red dragon jade by her side he named the baby, Yok. female lead is so gorgeous!! i saw the cover for this drama and immediately fell in love w her fjfjfj shes so gawg :(
anyway i had high expectations for yok luerd mungkorn but then i realised it was a channel 7 drama so i lowered it down LMAOO and ye it was what it was... very c7 like. starting to think they have the power to turn hq or good plot dramas into shitty ones :-)))) and this was one of them :-)))))... the cgi was horrible, plot twists were very cliche the only element that brought interest to this drama was the chinese gangs and yok’s family history. however the drama was a bit overdramtic and tried to romanticise everything... i think i have more cons>pros for this drama even though my rating is an 8... i would love to say the fl also carried this drama but it was just the ml lol, reason being said was bc the fl was suddenly “blind” half way and her character didnt do shit for the drama so thats why it was so boring and cliche. hated how they romanticised that part too :/ and even worse when she kept trying to be selfless but end up hurting herself like girl!! if u dont stop crying and take ur mans back rn!!! i think i can overlook the cons in this drama but the part where ML sleeps w 2nd FL aka FL’s half sister... like what were the directors thinking lol. anyway wasnt surprised everything from after ep1 turned into a shit storm bc after all, this is a c7 drama and im convinced their everyday motto for their viewers is “disappointment” :)
as for the rest of the characters, they’re alright didnt rlly do anything for the drama except stir the pot and make the story draggg. especially the father-son bond we expected to happen, it never did which was disappointing asf and if we can’t have the romance at least give us this!!! lol disappointment is an understatement and in actual i would give this drama a 6, the only reason it got an 8 was the LEADS bc they played the role well and obviously gave it some substance. the FL was really pretty and “i guess” she played the selfless, pitiful “disabled” woman well nffjfjf and likewise w the ML. he was selfless, had always loved the FL and had a thing for justice. even tho the romance w them were v little it was still enjoyable bc we all know they were in love since ep1 and their time spent chilling w each other had v subtle and playful love hints

also was so surprised when i found out THE min peechaya was a c7 actress :////// what’d she do in her past life to deserve this.. will always keep u in my prayers bbg
