When a young man is forced to wait on a woman hand-and-foot, how could his life be any more complicated? Li Ang is an aspiring photographer who gets a temp job at the fashion magazine called “Fashion Love.” Hao Li Ren is the director of the magazine, and Li Ang makes the mistake of using her nickname “Devil Hao” to her face and then accidentally breaks the magazine’s expensive camera equipment. The merciless Li Ren insists that Li Ang compensate the magazine for the entire cost of the expensive camera. Li Ang is concerned about how he will repay the money because his family owns a modest noodle shop and they are not well off. Through a series of events, Li Ren “hires” Li Ang to pretend to be her fake boyfriend at a class reunion. She then becomes injured and is home-ridden. Since Li Ang needs a place to stay, so he offers to become Li Ren’s caretaker/roommate/fake boyfriend to repay the money he owes. But will Li Ang’s girlfriend and Li Ren’s ex-boyfriend further complicate their strange arrangement? Edit Translation

The 1st half was overly dramatic and the 2nd half was a snooze fest. Park Hae-jin's character Li Ang and his love interest Li Ren were supposed to be the main pair but they threw in 3 other couples that had the same amount if not more time given to them, especially Li Ren's cousin, Tian Na. Towards the middle it seemed SHE was the lead.

When time was actually given to the OTP, it fell flat. I did not feel their chemistry at all. It was odd, they had scenes that should have been romantic and sweet but it felt like they were just checking off a to do list. Definitely not building a close and connected relationship with each other. Such a disappointment.

If a viewer is into crazy and sometimes nonsensical kinds of relationship shenanigans they may like it. Lots of breakups, lots of ex's, meddling elders and a bunch of grown ups who don't know what they want. Personalities seemed to change on a whim. Several scenarios happen over and over. What was the worst for me was I didn't particularly LIKE most of the characters. Even the ones that weren't bad weren't that exciting either.

***Possibly Spoiler-ish***
One love story fights against age and social status differences and has a jealous ex-girlfriend which was as cliché as possible. The jealous ex-girlfriend is especially grating. There is also an extra-martial affair relationship, a crazy psycho girl in love with a creepy magician and one other relationship that was actually normal but just seemed to be there to fill up screen time. One character that I did warm up to was Li Ren's cousin, Tian Na. In the beginning I couldn't stand her but by the end she won me over with her exuberant and quirky personality.

I really want to begin this review on a positive note because I enjoyed the overall concept or plot of this series. I especially loved the last episodes. It’s somewhat hard to review this series without telling you too much or revealing the plot but I will be honest. I did not enjoy many of the episodes and felt that the behavior of the cast members was either exaggerated or unrealistic. I know it may be unfair to say so but I’ve watched many series that have female leads as a snob or difficult person but in in reality they’re really nice but this one was different, it seemed forced and it just not great.

Our leads consistently did things that normal adults would not do and that’s why I didn’t rate it higher than seven. For example someone is engaged and now has a fiancé. The old flame who is supposed to be a good person and mature consistently lingers around the person that has already committed to be with someone else but is also giving them attention. It gives the sense that she is either dull or has no common sense. I will say about the same about the male lead being in a relationship with someone but hanging around someone else. Although innocent, normal people just don’t do things like this at this age. I did not like the overall series not because of the plot but the acting/script but I don’t like to quit things once I started.

to avoid the torture that I went through I would recommend anyone watching to watch episode one through five and then skip to episode 12 or 15, the fakeness, superiority complex and forced snubness and weird naivety somewhat diminishes. It makes it a lot more bearable. I will admit that after episode 12 or 15 the series someone takes a different turn and it gets a little more interesting although our characters still portrayed those unrealistic behaviors.
