Great OST!

Wow, even though episode 2 turned out to be weak the music is fantastic. Where I feel like the writing is failing to convey the emotion, the music more then makes up for it.

I will give it to this episode for answering some questions about Hong Do. Makeup can cover up her blushing but her anthrophobia (yeah I remembered it!) is a lot more complicated then that. It also tickles me that by hiding behind her helmet, umbrella, and whatever she's currently trying to cover herself up with, she's only make people look at her more. It fascinates me how irrational it is, and I'm very excited to see how Yi Seok will help her heal.

It's funny. Usually I enjoy it when a show doesn't spend so much time on flashbacks, but now I'd even take those. Because there's no back story to help flesh out the characters. While admire the series starting from present and going forward there's a huge disconnect. I don't care for most of the characters and it annoys me that apparently one of the cops farting issues is most likely going to be an ongoing gag. There's time to work fart jokes in, but not to establish the characters. And at this point there's not too many core ones so it shouldn't be hard.

Heart to Heart has tons of potential. So far it's just not taking off, everything is ready to be shaped into an excellent story. Plus, the actors here are pretty awesome. Especially Choi Kang Hee, who plays Hong Do. The last scene of this episode was so moving. Her expression and the emotions were overwhelming. When the writers aren't tossing in fart jokes the humor is pretty awesome, being both weird and clever at times, and there's powerful emotional scenes that promise that Heart to Heart really could be amazing.
