Straight 10s. This is what a perfect drama is like. God bless tvN and grant it prosperity. This is the most pleasant surprise of 2015 and will be for a while. I started it with high expectations but it exceeded all of them.

Perfect writing; no holes or no loose ends. Everything is connected brilliantly. The amount of pain and laughter are balanced wonderfully. The characters are well-written and the actors have done a perfect job performing them. Chapeau to the writer, the director and the cast.

To actually fall in love with Choi Kang Hee was something I never imagined but after this drama there was no way I wouldn't. I hope she's OK after playing the role.

A realistic approach of traumas and pain. No forgiveness simply granted. People do commit crimes and make mistakes. Not everyone is redeemed just because the drama is ending. How one person's not confessed crime would haunt so many people. Family and its complications. All are tackled in the drama.

Now comes the most bewitching theme; love. Hey! Hey! I'm someone who vowed to stay single forever! This drama had made me want to date again! Insane! How true people are to their feelings. No noble idiocy, no unnecessary self-blame, no giving up, no escaping. I'm feeling this way I'll be true to my feelings and simply confess and take responsibility. If you can't recognise your own feelings I'll help you but I won't give up on you. The past grudges won't stand in the way of our love because you simply mean the world to me. '' I either see you or die. And since I can't die I'll just see you.'' No shame or pretense when it comes to physical love. I want you, I express it. '' Love for me is touching''. Honest and realistic but so moving. Memorable in every aspect!

Though at the beginning I was worried about the second female lead but she thankfully found the right track. Every character has its own tale and every one can relate to each tale.

The OSTs and the music are so distinctive and soooooooooo suitable.

I will definitely re-watch it if ever have the time.

I had no idea when I started watching this drama that I would love it. Also, my girlfriend who has never watched a drama with me actually watched this entire drama and liked it. She was really annoyed at some of the angsty parts, but enjoyed it over all. This drama is well written and the directing and acting is excellent. I think this has a good balance of silly vs angst. I am not a huge fan of rom/com, but this had just enough melodrama also. I really love how the writer has the main couple communicate and that their issues don't last very long. It makes for a nice paced drama. I really think it is hard to go into much of the story line with out revealing spoilers. However, there is one point that I think is really important. Holding in secrets and lies will eat at your soul. Also, no one can be happy with you if you aren't happy by yourself

Side note: I have read people that are upset because Yi Seok calls Hong Do ";ugly" through this drama. Normally I would agree, but he is doing it at first because she wouldn't believe him when he said she was pretty so she wouldn't trust him and follow him to recovery. Later he calls her that as a form of endearment. I don't think in any way the writer meant that as Yi Seok putting Hong Do down.

Chun Jung Myung is one of the most natural actors. His portrayal of Yi Seok is emotional and I was completely invested in his character. Choi Kang Hee is not everyone's favorite actress, but I like her. She was perfect as the troubled and quirky Hong Do. Poor Lee Jae Yoon as Detective Jang. Will he ever be in a drama where he gets the girl? Or at least the girl he is originally in love with? Ahn So Hee is so cute as Se Ro. I enjoyed her character immensely. She seems cocky and shallow, but she is really caring. It is amazing that she came from that family.
Jin Hee Kyung really knows how to pay the crazy biatch mother (I'm not even sure or her name). I really hated her from beginning to end. The other actors are good too.

I really enjoyed the music in this drama.

I will probably rewatch this at some point.

If you like a good love story with some comedy and some melodrama that is paced well, then I think you would enjoy this drama.

Okay so like a lot of the other reviews I didn't really know what I was getting into with this drama. I just started watching because it was airing and I wanted another filler. By episode 2 though I think I was pretty into it, then episode 4 (watch and you will know why) just made this the cutest drama I have seen in a very long time.

When I say cutest I mean totally the CUTEST drama ever. Lots of admissions of "like" at first and realizing that they are both messed up individuals who need each other to fix each other. Episode 4 was such a step from the norm in dramas and it wasn't even this "I LOVE YOU" type of thing made it even better.

Episode 9 there is a scene that had me ROTFL and I was even more infatuated with this drama.

A little later on around episode 12 there is a change in the story which turned a unique drama kinda typical for me and is the only reason this drama got a 9.5/10. I do not think this "twist" was needed and I wish it could be re-written.

All that said I think it ended well, the characters don't really "fix" each other but help heal everyone. Detective Jang's story was a nice little side story and even the mother and fathers stories. It was a very cute, sweet and mostly unique drama that I would highly recommend.

Heart to Heart is a refreshingly unique RomCom that I didn't expect to like as much as I did. It was after completing it that I found out it is from the same director and writer who made "Coffee Prince", one of my favorite dramas EVER, which makes total sense. Like "Coffee Prince", this drama deals with mature relationships, and I love how they both show how complicated, messy, unpredictable, and unclear relationships can be. I think most of us can relate to that! So don't expect 16 episodes of attraction and awkwardness building up to a backhug, it's not that type of romance. However, there are plenty of cute moments thanks to Chun Jung Myung and Choi Kang Hee.

Cha Hong Do and Ko Yi Seok’s chemistry was so unexpected that my jaw literally dropped. I started watching assuming I knew how the story would go… Awkward “unattractive” girl with issues and obnoxious rich guy with family drama… so many KDramas follow this storyline, but this one deviates from what’s expected. I hated their dynamic in the beginning, but by episode 4 everything completely changed! Chun Jung Myung and Choi Kang Hee were so good together that their relationship felt real, and I couldn’t stop myself from watching them. I remember liking Choi Kang Hee in “Protect the Boss”, and some of that no nonsense attitude showed up sometimes in this drama too. I remember Chun Jung Myung from “What’s up Fox”, and even though that was made almost 10 years ago, he had the same unexpected sexiness mixed with cuteness which makes him a perfect KDrama romantic lead. They may not look the part of an epic kdramaland couple, but his babyface adorableness, and her uniqueness, completely won me over, and was seriously steamy. If you’re still looking for eye candy, Lee Jae Yoon fills that role very well, even with the dumb hair. I’m still missing his character from “I Have a Lover”, so I was happy to see him in something else, with a much more significant role (I will be stalking… I mean watching his other dramas for sure). He’s equally charming too, which makes for an awesomely complicated love triangle… which turns into an odd love pentagon at one point, but that speaks to the uniqueness of this drama.

I give a definite 10 rating for the main actors, and for all of the supporting actors, except one. Yi Seok’s father is bad, like really bad. So bad I have to write it in the review, even though he is barely in any scenes. So bad I had to take half a point away. I really liked Detective Yang, and thought Chairman Grandpa was great. The person who I literally thought was useless until the later episodes was So Hee. I know she’s an idol, and I think she did a good job, but she was still annoying. She kept behaving in a way that I guess was supposed to be cute, and I didn’t find her, or it, cute at all. She also seemed extremely childish, so it was hard for me to take her in a relationship seriously, especially not a real relationship with Detective Eye Candy. The show is written so well that even she started to grow on me, and I eventually stopped thinking of her character as useless. That’s another thing I loved about this drama. There were really no throwaway/filler moments or characters.

I really do have to applaud the writer and director. I loved that each episode starts with what will happen later in the episode, which instantly won my automatic interest from the very beginning. I loved sometimes seeing things from the character’s point of view. They were able to incorporate a lot of cool storytelling styles without being too gimmicky. I also loved how they approached the theme of Love, what it is, what it can endure, and with characters really being honest about how they feel (which isn’t always good). I can’t really say anything bad about the story, only that it switches genres, almost completely, about halfway through. Suddenly it goes from RomCom to Family Melodrama, and although it makes sense to the story, it is still a different tone than the beginning, which some viewers may not like. The family drama was not my favorite part, but it did bring depth to the characters that I liked a lot.

About the music, the soundtrack is as quirky as the show. I liked some songs, and hated others, but every song matched the story well, even the ringtones!

Is “Heart to Heart” rewatchable? Definitely! I finished the last episode and immediately started to rewatch episodes 4 & 5. I know I will watch this all again at some point, and I can even endure the less interesting parts, because they still add to the overall story.

This drama definitely won my heart over completely. Whenever I thought I could predict which drama cliché would be used next, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s also refreshing to see unconditional love stories, where flaws aren’t deal breakers (I’ll give just one spoiler - There is no amazing make over, which also made me happy). I definitely recommend this drama, and I recommend watching it with an open mind. You have to ignore things like therapist ethics violations, police brutality, identity fraud, and of course stalking, and just embrace the knowledge that some things are ok in Kdramaland. I also recommend waiting until episode 4 before deciding to drop it, because the first few episodes are not a good gauge for how the rest of the show will be. It’s also binge-watch friendly (It took me 3 days to complete). By the end of the last episode I was completely satisfied, and inspired by love and all it’s possibilities.

I wasn't quite sure what I was in for when I decided to start this drama, but as soon as I started it I liked it and every episode seemed to get better and Wham then came episode 4 which made every viewer do O.O I'm sure lol - I loved it by then, and it flowed so nice and sweetly up until episode 12 where it took kind of a makjang turn that I really didn't appreciate but I didn't absolutely hate it either - it just turned an original drama into a typical one but the last episode made up for that turn in my book - so cute ^^ It made me smile <3

I started this drama for Chun Jung Myung (Ko Yi Suk) b/c I've been a fan of him since I watched Cinderella's Sister, he has this cute boyish charm to him that is irresistible <3 And his puppy dog eyes could melt any girls heart <3 I loved the "nickname" he had for Cha Hong Do - whenever he'd call her "ugly" I'd smile - it was so enduring the way he said it <3 never offensive but sweet ^^ He was the best part of the show for me, I loved him since the first episode <3

I never really cared for the lead actress on any other drama I saw her in, but I must say I loved her in this - she was great at playing a patient with social phobia. She dressed really weird but that somehow fit the show really well lol

The supporting cast was really refreshing and good too, especially Doo So Jang & Se Ro <---Loved them ^^

Music was pretty, I liked the main couples ringtones the best lol - I already put Hong Do's ringtone on a cd & listen to it in the car lol

I would re-watch this, it was cute and fun - and nothing that irked me when watching - it was peaceful :) I would definitely recommend people watch this.

One of the best dramas I have seen because of the most natural acting and love two leads have. You need to give this drama a chance from the start and by 3rd episode you will feel the essence of this spectacular series. If we could all have as pure and natural love as those two had in this drama - we all would be living in paradise. This was one of those series that are unforgettable. The main leads and their love for each other, every word, gesture, movement, eye contact was so real and so powerful whatever obstacles they had to conquer they did. It was done with perfection. Those two should win the best couple awards! This drama should be rewarded for its writing, acting, realism, and much more. After watching 16 beautiful episodes, I feel like I ate the most delicious meal and all cravings had been satisfied. Closing my eyes I see the best couple and love they had for each other and wish we all have this kind of experience and happiness always!
When I started to watch it, gradually, things started to evolve into a beautiful conversations, and for once I envied the main couple for their real such open and natural relationship. I am not a jealous person by any means but this series made me envy those two what they have accomplished.
If you don't watch it from beginning to end you would never know what you have missed! This drama will change your life and view of love should be!

Amazing drama, I loved every episode I couldn't even skip the drama part because everything was so
good, lol, they should make more shows like this one, with a lovely and full a chemistry couple, the type that you smile by just looking at them.

So Yi Suk was the type of character that many people didn’t like, but I couldn’t find in me to dislike
him at all, I loved his eccentric and happy way, he’s the sweetest guy after falling in love and his smile when he saw her was everything, he was perfect. The actor was so good that I can't wait to watch more things with him.

Cha Hong Do own the show, even with all her problems she was a strong character and when she made a decision the problem was solved and that was it, I loved that about her. Since their first interaction, I saw the sparkles flying and I loved every scene they had together, they were perfect together. One of the best dramas of the year, that’s for sure.

I don't rewatch dramas, but not that the drama had any problems.

I only picked up this drama because i noticed it was all out and was available on Viki. I hadn't even heard of the two leads before this drama. I was pleasantly surprised that this ended up becoming my new favorite drama.

Music: The OST was amazing! One of the best I've ever come across in the K drama world. There were plenty of hidden gems in the show. For example, I currently have We still have time by Tearliner on repeat, since i completed the drama.

Acting: I fell in love with the main couple from the first episode! I felt the actors did a really great job selling their love on screen. I don't see how anyone who completes the show won't also end up falling in love with Ko Yi Seok as well!

Plot: I really loved the overall plot of the show. The best thing about it to me was how believable it was. At least for me, I found the story line to be refreshing.

I'm a sucker for romantic shows. And well, mostly I watch that genre. This was a very sweet series, but not the best one for me.

The setting was interesting, how two scarred people with tough backgrounds find each other for healing. The emotional depth of this simple story was interesting and emotional enough in my opinion to actually support a whole series about this.

What I didn't really like was how they thought that it was not enough.
At some point, the focus shifted from this, which was already a good enough setting, and could have been discovered more in detail, and with stronger focus on the characters. But I think they unnecessarily threw in some over the top extra elements, LOTS of twists, misunderstandings, drama. As if the starting situation was not serious and deep enough.

So yeah, I think that's the fault of this drama, it wanted to try too hard, when it already had a good setting from the start, which was not taken seriously enough for me, and just got kind of abandoned even. So for me it was too much, too many stuff thrown in and not properly developed or explained, or ended with a proper solution for everyone.

Nevertheless the romantic scenes were lovely and well acted, the casting was really good too I think. There were many sweet moments, but not enough for me to be honest, it was you know, typically always interrupted with some drama, which I felt a little too much at times.

The idea about the whole story was smart in a way, but kind of forced in execution for me. I still think it was a pretty okay series, a very strong 7, it's good to give it a watch, but I wouldn't call this the best one I've seen, neither it was the cutest romantic series in my opinion.

H:H was a well told story of how family secrets crush the soul of any family, and how the closest circle of people are damaged by the selfish decision of keeping a secret.
Story: Not new just better told of an introvert-social phobia meets psychologist who is need of psychologist quickly realizing they are match. What made this story right was the pacing, great dialog and overall tightness of script. Not any storyline stray, simply watching these three characters develop within the 16eps was GREAT!
Acting: the onscreen chemistry & acting of the two leads was "spot-on" and totally believable. Their growing relationship was like watching a tadpoles grow into frogs. The actress who could not act (sister) was cast perfectly, she could not act - thus totally believable.
Music: Done well and matched the mood and feel of the actions on screen. Well done!
Would I watch again? Yes
H:H was a surprise hit for me in this land of dramas this season. Mostly all dramas have family secrets, but this story dealt with the severe emotional toll secrets have on all involved - voluntarily or NOT. Rec. this for those wanting something light BUT with a heavy undertone message and solid acting.

I watched this drama merely cause I believed in tvn & it never does disappoint me, it always manage to bring a fresh drama & introduce all the stories that are very ordinary into a new perspective, such a waste these dramas never get the attention it should have !
I'm not a fan of Choi Kang Hee but I love how cute is Chun Jung Myoung, so really with out any expectations I watched this drama, so I was really surprised by the acting & the plot, it was a totally new rule for Chun Jung Myoung which made fall for him again, even though its based on psychiatric elements it doesn't go over bored with it, juts enough to lead the story which sounded awesome looking to all the psychiatrist doctors drama we had recently, the characters were real to there feelings and there wasn't a moment were you would be frustrated by a character behavior & its quit rare to find a Korean drama without this moments !
its a must watch drama, fun & fresh & heart warming like its name <3

it was a really good drama. highly recommended! what i liked most about it was that the writers didn't drag the story unnecessarily. the characters all talked about their issues and didn't make the viewers weary with misunderstandings. at first l didn't like the lead actor coz this was the first time im watching one of his dramas. but once i started watching, i really started to see his charm. he is adorable. the script was well written and the cast did a good job. wish there were more mature and enjoyable dramas like this. please recommend any good ones like this. :)
