I love the cinematography of this drama and the way how cool Kim Young Kwang's character was in all of this. In comparison to his other role in "Pinocchio". I'm glad he gets to be happy and be all cool at the same time. Also... have I mentioned how much I like his jeep? That yellow jeep he is using around is deabak!

Anyways... the main reason I watched this drama was because of Sandara Park. I've been waiting for so long to find a drama in which she will be the main lead after watching that CM she had with Lee Min Ho. I was thinking perhaps she will finally have a break... and she did. Even if it's just in a web based drama, I'm still glad they were able to cast her as one of the main leads. Acting wise, Dara still has room to improve but she has definitely improved a LOT from the last time I've seen her act which was years ago (Not including her CM with LMH). As for Young Kwang, he definitely did evolve somehow. Or maybe it was just the character portrayal?

Story wise, this drama was a bit absurd. Don't get me wrong because I loved the characters even the supporting ones, but I just couldn't get the gist of the story. Maybe someone has to explain it to me again or I have to re-watch it to actually understand what happened. I'm still quite confused as to what is the real deal with Dr. Ian and that other guy. For me, there were unresolved issues for the doctor. The story between Dr. Ian and So Dam though is quite amusing, however it lacked a bit of substance. After the show I was saying to myself, "That's it? That's all how it's going to be? Mission? What kind of mission is that???", watching the relationship develop for these couple is frustrating. It was all about cinematography-crying-talking-crying-cinematography-insert music, angst and a few sweet moments.

The music was good and I have no complaints on that, I just couldn't get over the fact that the story line was just up to that given that it only had 9 episodes and 11 minutes run time. It was short and a bit disappointing. I honestly believe this web drama could have been better but as an audience, I had to take it as it is and enjoy it as delivered.

Thank goodness I loved seeing Dara and Young Kwan on screen that my disappointments are skewered by these actors.

Okay, so I watched this short drama purely because I was bored and wanted something that could be completed in one day (without completely ruining my sleep schedule). And I came across this: Dr. Ian. It seemed pretty interesting just from the plot line itself, and I have seen Kim Young Kwang before in Pinocchio and White Christmas, and his acting was more than decent. And I had heard about Sandara Park a few times, so I wanted to check this out.

The story had a good concept, it wasn't cliche and it seemed watchable. However, the first couple episodes were very boring and I couldn't get into it, but out of pure boredom, I continued with it. It did get better, by quite a bit actually. Although there isn't much to talk about since this drama only has 9 episodes, with 10 minutes a piece, for those who are thinking to watch this, don't judge it by its first few episodes. Its potential comes later.

The acting was very good. Kim Young Kwang and Sandara Park did a very good job with each other their respective roles. I also enjoyed their chemistry on-screen. However, all of the other actors that were featured didn't make much of an impression and their acting was average. Nothing impressive.

The soundtrack of this drama only consists of one song: Tear Rain by JL. I absolutely love this song, it's so great to listen to. However, the problem with the music is that it's only one song. There's no album, just the single. I would have loved to hear more tracks in the drama, but never mind.

I would like to see Dr. Ian again, but given how short it is and how there's all that much to it, it's unlikely that I'll ever get round to seeing it again.

Overall, the story was quite good and the acting was lovely, but there was only one track to the drama (which was superb). Dr. Ian is, though, a great watch for all you romance lovers out there.

I'll give this drama just a 5.5/10. If you want a short and not heavy drama, you can try watching this.

I do believe that this drama is tolerable and can be a 10/10, or any higher than 5 if they just remove or lessen those typical cringy ass kdrama scenes. For example is Dr. Ian giving Soodam his coat when miss gurl is literally wearing a mascot suit, and him blocking Soodam in elevator so the other people won't see her crying when he can just give him his sunglasses instead of his coat (SO CRINGY SAVE MEE ACKK). I'm not that harsh when giving short/web dramas a review, but this is just not it.

Poorly made

The biggest problem with this show is how confusing it is. Dr. Mo Ian is a psychiatrist who has lost his license to practice because a patient's case was made public. That is because his office is set up in an under construction building to unofficially see patients there where anyone can eavesdrop or steal a glimpse at his patient's files. That itself is bizarre.

Secondly, the is no explanation why he follows the female lead or acts like he knows her or stalks her. It just doesn't make sense. I couldn't understand if he had seen her previously or not. At times I wondered if something got lost in translation.

There are a few interesting moments which involve him treating patients but they are rare. Even from a romantic genre point of view, I don't think it's worth watching. The acting is not really special. The dialogues aren't memorable which could have otherwise made up for the limited time. There was no opportunity to build up the characters which is the biggest flaw.

Furthermore the story is forgettable. I completed it only because of the length even though I considered dropping it after the 4th episode.

Apenas suficiente.
