A Melody to Remember (2016)

Both of them follow life during the korean war between soilders and citizens/kids.
Both use a creative outlet ,
Swing kids uses tap dancing.
A melody to remember uses singing, choir.
Both also don't use romance to overshadow the story.
Theres a lot more similarities but not many i can give away without spoilers but both movies are amazing and worth a watch.

Both movie involve strong mind child or children. Born in poor family, went through hardship, needing the adult protection. Both are true story happen in South Korea country side

Strong female lead at first refuse the child responsibility but later fell in love with the young souls. Fatherly love kick in, and were rewarded by the family like love

Althought one is music the other one is sport related, both main male lead have a loving soft heart for the under privilege children. It is amazing they bond together both good time and bad time

- Both are 2 of the most beautiful, touching war movies you will ever come across!
- Both movies are masterfully created with top-notch acting. (The acting in Tae Guk Gi is insanely good I've never seen any better in any other movie honestly)
- Strong and heartfelt sibling relationships in both. In Tae Guk Gi, there are 2 brothers who deeply care for eachother instead of a brother and a sister.

Both are very touching story about a man has decided to train a group of under privilege children something to give them hope and make them proud. Very touching good movie

Both are about teacher went to rural school helping the kids regroup, gave them courage, motivation, inspiration. The Korean one is true story during the war.

Both have themes of children (orphans) learning to survive in a war-torn country. A Melody to remember offers a bit more in story than Boys Don't Cry.

Both movies touches people hearts, dedicated teacher to difficult children. It takes good teachers to raise these precious young kids.
