I know this movie has all the great reviews it deserves, but thought I'd put in my two cents any way.

I was kind of doubtful whether I would like it or not because this movie is SO highly talked about. I realized my doubts were wrong. Sunny is a great tale of friendship. I love stories which focus on the bond between females rather than just bromance. It was nice to read more watch a movie dominantly on the power of female friendship.

I know I am not that old yet but it still made me think of my school days. This movies very deeply brings back memories of school, the first crush, friends and mostly- the time of our lives. It was so relatable. A lot of aspects of it were so realistic that I couldn't help but giggle.

I assure you, you will be wanting to have a posse like them by the end and you would want to be with them the same the way they are in the movie. Their love for each other only proves how it doesn't really matter how much time has passed. Friendship really is a forever thing.

I loved the way they handled the ending because it was almost sad but then you're reminded of the awesomeness the females possess and they are dancing till the end anyway. Daebak!

So I decided to watch this movie after seeing it being #1 on here. I finally got time to watch it and this is what thoughts on it.

Story 10/10 : WOW! JUST WOW. The story is very unique(at least for me). It intertwines both the past and the modern time in a very, very interesting and easily understandable way.

Cast/Acting 10/10: The cast was lovable and the actors made that happen read more extremely well .

Music 8/10: The music was great and served its purpose quite well. However, it wasn't 10/10 material for me. Just my personal opinion, don't know why or how, but thats just how I feel.

Rewatch Value 5/10: I'm not a rewatcher so I most likely wont watch this movie again.

Overall 10/10: This movie stunned me. I don't know how to describe it, but it was amazing. It's not action packed, but more about friendship and the effect of years on people. I especially enjoyed their transformations.

Legend and Sunny both have music in them. Also Ahjummas and their problems in life. The characters are kind of the same. Though Sunny has more quirky and funnier characters. Both are recommended.

DQ is a easy- breezy storyline of going for your dream as adults. The two stories focus on 40+ women who have life swirling around them as they cope with their old selves battling present day. If your looking for something enjoyable w seasoned, matured actors, give Dancing Queen a spin.

Loved this movie. Though I feel should have been longer. I wanted to know more about Su-Ji and how Na-Mi changes her life (with her husband and her relationship with her daughter).Felt a bit anti climatic.

It was nice but it didn't feel too emotional to me which is a bit disappointing. Having seen all these comments, I'm sure it's just a problem with me :/ Maybe it's the fact that I'm a guy and I have no friends? Can someone please tell me which scene(s) made them tear up and why?

I think this film is definitely more for women but yeah, anyway,I don't think i cried that much the first time i watched it but after seeing it a few times, you know what is going to happen and i already cried when na mi meets chun ah in the hospital the first time, and then of course at the end.
