Both movies are about nostalgic first love. "Unforgettable" is a small budget indie movie set in an island that is more on drama side, while "20th Century Girl" is a Netflix original movie set in a school that is more on romcom side. Both movies similarly takes place in the 90s, includes radio/broadcasting job and have a tragic ending. With friendship and bittersweet romance which are dearly remembered even after they grew up as adults.

Not the exact same thingy stuff but the vibes is quite similar and this one friend that they respect and love. I would say this is the BL version of Unforgettable. Okay… just that… as simple as the same vibes…

"Unforgettable" is set in 90s but shows how main characters are living in modern world. Like "Reply 1988", it's all about childhood friends which lived in a small village, and their first love and dreams.
Also, "Unforgettable" actors are really good. I could say as good as "Reply 1988". And, of course, in both you could hear old times music. Don't know about you, but I really love listening to korean music from 70s to 90s.

Both movies have similar atmosphere from old times, so you get to enjoy old korean music, see old clothes styles and, also, imagine how korean teenagers lived when they didn't have mobile phones! Both movies are about friendship, hardships and, of course, first love. But I could say that "Hot Young Bloods" isn't as sad as "Unforgettable", and, in my mind, has more 'dirty' languages :) And if you like Korean satoori (dialects) you should watch both movies and fall for main characters cute satoori.
Did I mention that actors are great in both movies? Yes, they are. "Unforgettable" has Kim Soo Hyun (The moon that embraces the sun, I miss you, School who are you) and D.O (It's okay that's love). And "Hot young bloods" has Park Bo Young (Werewolf boy, Oh my chost) and Lee Jong Suk (I hear your voice, Pinocchio, Doctor stranger, Secret Garden, School 2013) as main leads.

Both of these movies are about childhood friends who separate due to some incident that happened in the past and who meet again after they become adult. If you liked watching C'est si bon, you will also like Unforgettable, as they have similar vibes.

Both deal with a group of close friends who give extra attention to one special friend.

The romance in both the movies is innocent and sweet. If one of the two movies made you cry, the other one will too.

The plots are quite interrelated and you will surely cry in this one as well.

It's similar in that two youngsters fell in love while they were on a vacation. It featured innocent first loves and love lost. However, Unforgettable is insincere. It was created to manipulate tears out of gullible viewers, who probably came out to watch this movie due to the popular main cast. Classic wasn't perfect, but the story, at least the one set in the past, is more believable with more tangible sensitivity. If you want to reminisce on bittersweet first love, don't waste your time on Unforgettable and watch Classic instead.

It's a plot that revolves around friends, plot is different however a few similarities to know that they both kind of clash. If you think watching Unforgettable was a waterfall mayhem, ONe Way Trip won't disappoint.
