While Suk Jun was out on a squid fishing five years ago, his girlfriend In Ok gets raped by Yong Gil and kills herself. Suk Jun is serving time for attempting to murder Yong Gil. He gets out and heads to Surak mountain where Yong Gil works as a rescuer, harvesting medicinal herbs and mushrooms. He spends day by day fearing the day when Suk Jun comes to him. Suk Jun loses one leg while looking for Yong Gil on a dangerous rocky road and ends up being rescued by Yong Gil.
