Five Stars

Just as riveting as episode one! Packed with so much humor that the emotional, tear jerker moments hit even harder. Here is when bbo shines even more in her dual roles, this time feisty & horny. Soon Ae makes my heart ache, and the narrative does an excellent job in sparking curiosity about her life & family before death.

Two Stars

This is not funny or believable or anything. Nothing about this show works so far: plot, characters, acting, etc.

Four Stars

Episode 2 started off much better than episode 1 with lots of comedic moments that actually made me burst out laughing. I expected a lot of swapping back and forth but for now it seems that we're sticking to Soonae as our main girl. I thought that she was going to be there just for comedy so I'm really happy to see her backstory which is bittersweet now.

I'm worried that we won't get character development from Bong Sun though and that Seonwoo will fall in love with ghost girl which will definitely end up tragically. I'm trusting the show not to head down that path though? Aside from that I thought this episode was generally slow, but I understand the slow buildup and its actually building up my curiosity to watch more! So don't let me down!

Hello Ghost!

Oh My Ghost's second episode, like its first, proved to be an easy watch. Its colorful array of characters deliver the laughs without being idiotic. Between the comedy and the setup, the writer and the actors succeed to present the main characters as real people, with layers and emotions.

The only issue I fear with the current setup, however, is the confusion between the ghost/ body host female lead. Right now, our ghostess seem to be the leading lady while Bong is nowhere to be found. I kinda miss her. I hope that the writer has a clear plan to deal with this because having a ghost as the leading lady could be very heartbreaking. Let's not break viewers' hearts, writer-nim, eh?

A solid second episode!

Very slick! I enjoyed that this second episode gives us time in the present with our characters. The possessed Bong Sun is great to watch. Bo Young is good playing the spunky virgin ghost. Soon Ae is developing well and I really enjoy her character. Even better is how she's developed as viewers get to know her as she is now. Then a the end wham! A well placed, an well worked in flashback! It was so moving as the big reveal came upon Soon Ae/Bong Sun.

Overall Oh My Ghost is hitting all the right spots. There's still plenty of questions as to where Bong Sun is while she's being possessed. How does this personality mesh work? Was Bong un really like Soon Ae, but the hauntings just kept her beat down? Most importantly will the real Bong Sun ever come out? Oh, it's all exciting!

The humor is spot on as it's both clever and fueled by Soon Ae's perverted man obsession! There's hints of deeper emotional stories going on here as well. Especially as Soon Ae is getting her memories back and coming into contact with those from her old life. Oh My Ghost is definitely heading in a great direction and I'm so excited to add another fabulous ghost story to my repertoire of dramas.

Fighting!
