This brings her back to her high school days, where she was an ordinary high school girl. She has a crush on Ouyang Fei Fan, the school's most popular male student.
One day, Jhen Hsin receives a chain letter, warning her of impending doom if read moreshe does not pass the message on. Naively, she passes it on to Hsu Tai Yu, the school's notorious gangster boss, her math teacher, and Tao Min Min, the school's most popular girl. While Tai Yu was reading the letter, he got injured in a car accident. Ahhh such a feel good movie! The plot isn't anything new but the execution was done extremely well. This movie is such a roller coaster of emotions. I definitely think many girls can relate to this movie and reminisce about their past. I loved the cliched parts actually and I thought they were authentic to what happened in many teenage girls' lives- the crushing on the popular boy, the clumsiness+awkwardness, the mean read more teachers, etc! The production act also made sure everything was from the 90's, the BB callers, the clothes, the food was all authentic from that time period. This is a very Cinderella feel movie, and being a sucker for those, I fell in love with the story.

Loved the cast! The actresses/actors were all cast well and they fit their characters perfectly. I especially loved Wang Da Lu. Wow, he's such a versatile actor, I feel heartbroken when he's crying and impressed by his fighting scenes. Of course, Vivian Sung portrayed the clumsy albeit a little awkward teenager very well. Dino Lee is cute too but his character was just kind of one-dimensional in my opinion. If you read my other reviews, you'll know I love Jerry Yan and I was elated to find out that he played the grown up Wang Da Lu. His scene with Joe Chen, although too short, was adorable and I wished it was longer! I admit I also screamed like a fan girl when I heard Andy Lau was playing a small role as a guest in this movie. He hasn't acted in a Taiwanese movie in ages! The star power of the three of them added to this movie too.

Music was fantastic and contributed to my roller coaster of emotions. My favorite song was of course the theme song, A Little Happiness, by Hebe Tien. I've been playing that song on repeat ever since.

Re-watch value is high! Once they come to the USA, I'm going to try and buy a HD quality version. Movies like this always give me a warm and fuzzy feeling, so if you guys are looking for that don't miss this! (10/9)

So this is my second time writing a review and I'm pretty bad at this..
I watched it because I was curious when all my friends were talking about how good it was.
It's a really cute rom-com movie. I find myself fan-girling over the Male MC whenever he smirks.

Lots of laughs throughout but there were really sad moments near the end of the movie. It's a fun watch!
I'd recommend read more this to everyone. xD

Story - A few clichés here and there, but overall it was good. It was a typical plot of how they wanted to break the relationship of their crush by working together.
Character development was well done and I liked how they slowly naturally became friends.

Acting - There was no awkward acting. I thought their heartbroken expressions was well executed.
Poor Vivian Sung had to fall multiple times in the movie since her character was a clumsy one, but all the falls was very natural I believe.

Music - Suitable inserts for scenes and the theme song by Hebe Tian is just awesome!

I'm definitely watching this again!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I can write an essay on why this movie is so perfect but I have a life so just go and watch it!!!!!!!!! I usually like more serious, dark, mature type of stuff so the fact that this is actually one of my favorite movies says a lot about the movie's quality

Why did I just found out about this movie? This is the type of movies I love. Even do I wished it was someone else at the end with her, for many reasons it still was an okay ending.
I think I am one of the few if not the only one that wished it was another guy at the end with her. And not because I didn't love the teen version of him but because why did he wait so many years too contact her. I wouldn't be smiling I would of been pissed. That is why I wish it was the other guy, it would of been like more a plot twist.

How stupid of me to think this was a typical coming of age, light hearted rom-com. It's not a tragedy, but I was having a sever ugly cry psychotic episode. T_T SO GOOD!

I don't know, though i will be 25 soon, but i still a sucker of this kind of plot (that's why i also enjoy Crazy Little Thing Called Love). But what really attract me is Ouyang, he is soooooooooo cute, agh! Even that kind of hair still makes him lookin good LOL

Ok enough, back to the drama, the story plot isn't something new. I found this kind of plot in lot of mangas i've read. But it is executed cutely. If lot of people said this is so heartwarming, for me, to be honest, not really. Only one scene that gives such kind of vibe.

IMHO its' strong point is those cutesy! You know, that kind of throbbing scene, that really makes you giggle and finger crawl like a teen. Seriously same vibe as Crazy Little Thing Called Love. And a bonus twist plot in the end is seriously great which made me drop my tears.

If you are not demanding a complex unpredictable plot story, adult-feels romance, and just looking for a light romcom drama, and cute romantic scene that will makes you back to your teenager stage, watch this!

PS: The only thing i regret is i seroiusly ship Ouyang and Lin more :'(
