Satoru Fujinuma is an unpopular manga artist, who doesn't like having relationships with other people, although he also works part-time delivering pizzas. Satoru has the special ability of "revival", that allows him to go back in time before terrible incidents occurred and right whatever wrong occurred. He goes back continually until the incidents are prevented. 18 years ago, a serial murder case took place with the victims being children. Satoru, using the read morebody of an elementary school student, travels to that time to catch the killer and to save his mother who faced the criminal.

Brilliant acting, especially the cast for the kids... Brilliant!

I love to storyline, i love the feel of a movie thats been adapted from a manga/anime - they did a good job with this one.

Both Main lead try to save the girls who were killed by a mysterious serial killer in the past. The difference is that in ERASED there is a time travel by the main character but in Time Renegades is two diferent persons who are connected by theirs dreams,.

This was a lot better than I expected it to be.

Live Action according to the anime and manga.
Well, of course I watched the anime, and I can assure you that it follows the sting so much when the manga and anime. For those who do not know, "Erased" is meant to be a highly immersive suspense, that is, you will be intrigued at all times, with each scene presented, fulfilling this well. The anime can please those who "freaked out" with "Death Parade" the year before.
The density of live is contagious. With each passing minute, we know more about the 30-year experience of the protagonist and more we want to get the answers to them. One thing that picks up on this kind of anime is finding out who is the girl in my memory, the role of anime like "Love Hina" or "Boku wa tomodachi ga Sakunai".
For the adaptation of this script full of details, where the facts of the present and the past must be cohesive, we have the work of the experienced director and for now, showed very well the union of the lines developed by the creator Kei Sanbe, leaving the walk of the natural live And dynamic. Recommended!

The ending was rather predictable, unfortunately not a very satisfying one.

This is not a good adoption but the kid's performance made it worthwhile.

the movie was just so-so. a little too slow-paced for my liking. kudos to the child actors, however. they are really talented.

I would not mind a 3 hour movie if the ending will be good and not changing the plot too much.
I was shocked by the ending really i could not get it through my head. its just stops there.

I watched the anime and now I watched the movie. I love both, and although they changed a lot of things in the movie, I think it's a really good adaptation.

Read the manga and you will see that in the anime there were a lot of changes compared to the original manga. Even the ending is different.

They changed ending, and I feel like the plot line is very disjointed. If you didn't read the manga or watch the anime beforehand you wouldn't be able to understand the full sorry line that's for sure.

Never read the manga but I could see towards the end where things happened or didn't happen that confused me; however, it was good enough to make me curious to read it in its entirety. Mission accomplished.

Again, as in EVERY comment I post on movie-manga adaptations i have to say it's really bad, a loooot of the story was cut, Fujiwara Tatsuya was such a bad choice for this role, (again i just saw a comment i posted in april saying the same thing haha). Even in Japan everybody that saw it find it very "meehhh". like one of the previous comment in recommend the manga or the anime, much more intense and worthy.

Like most adaptation of books/manga/anime, there is no way 2 hrs can do the story justice. If it can generate interest to read the full story, it has done it's due diligence.
