Might be cute for those who never watched the anime / read the manga. However, it was very disappointing for me. This is probably because I watched the anime before and loved it, so I had HUGE expectations for this when the film was announced, but I don't it is anywhere near to being as good as the anime.

It might have been better if they made it into a 12-episode (at read more least) drama as it was obvious that they rushed the story in this movie (a lot isn't covered and it just doesn't seem complete nor as fulfilling).

However, I think the actors portrayed their roles amazingly well, especially Yamazaki Kento. He is such a good actor and so good-looking too!! >< The female lead was also really good. The only biggest problem I find with this is that it is way too rushed due to the short time available in a movie. I hope they decide to make a drama version of this movie soon!

I've watched this and it is an interesting story. I love Yamazaki Kento, but I don't think he suit to be Sata Kyouya. It's just my opinion though. Kento has this prince charming aura thingy and I think he doesn't suit to be a sadist.
it is the first time I watch Nikaido Fumi acting and I think she is really suited to be Erika.
and overall I think you should watch read more this! my friends cried when watching this >A<

I'm quite disappointed with this adaptation. I dropped this halfway but managed to finish it just because of Kento. I didn't really like the lead girl's acting since it was a bit off for me. One more thing was the camera directing which made it hard for me to watch. It was either too shaky or the sequence was too long. At least I got to see Kento in a blonde hair.

As someone who has not read the manga nor watched the anime, it was simple, sweet. but pretty rushed. Although the chemistry can almost be non-existent between these two, Yamazaki Kento saved it for me (maybe because I love him in general very much). The number one problem I had with this adaptation is the camera angles! The moments could have had more emotion if only the darn camera angled were fixed. Also, as a person who appreciates BGMs and instrumentals, this movie was lacking of it! Again, moments would have had more emotion if it had instrumental accompaniment. Despite the flaws, this definitely got
me curious about the manga and anime, which I'll be reading and watching soon enough.

Edit: Calling out Mr. Hanamura Yasushi, the person in charge on cinematography, I really need an explanation for this.

This isn't worth watching tbh. This is one of the most shallow shoujo romances I have ever watched, I wasn't feeling their connection at all. Acting was ok, seen better from both leads. Chemistry wasn't really there. I don't understand why the director decided to film conversations between characters from miles away so we couldn't see anything. So weird.

Too bad, disappointed with this live action. There was no clue where is the story going. No chemistry between two leads. Lead girl was bad.
Kento, your cuteness did not save this live action, sorry. I did not see sata kun from your acting. It was the worst adaptation i have ever watched since L<3DK. Camera work was the worst of all time.

Tbh, this is the worst adaptation I've ever seen. There are many flaws, srsly, especially when it comes to camera angles. Another things is that I don't see any chemistry between the two main leads. Good thing, I watched it first before the anime version so I will not be too disappointed.

I really enjoyed this film. Nikaido Fumi was just wonderful and so was Yamazaki Kento. Their onscreen chemistry was really good.

    I loved this.

I really enjoyed this live action, just as I enjoyed the anime. Good lead choices; Nikaido's Erika was on point, she was fresh and innocent, without going over the top. Yamazaki's Kyouya was every bit the arrogant boyfriend.
The only disappointment - not enough Takeru; not much dialogue, or input (as in the manga). Overall it was great.

It was cute, but the camera angles! It made everything really jarring sometimes.
