If you randomly come across this little special drama, do not hesitate to watch it!

Story | A regular high school senior is struggling in school with tests and college expectations building on her shoulders. One day while on her way to take a test that will "determine the rest of her life", she became able to transport to a different era through the rain. She then enters the Joseon era and read more encounters a whole new set of problems. Nothing new but for some reason, it's something I don't really get tired of.

Cast | I'm so happy to see Kim Seul Gi in a main role! I've only see her in a few things and adored her unique acting. She gave her character such a refreshing feel. Not sure how others will feel, but nothing about her acting was at all annoying and I quite loved how it was different than the typical main actress. Oh Doojoon. I really need to watch more of his works. He did a lot better than I had expected and in my opinion, I thought he showed perfect emotions in his face, which is pretty big for me. Him and Seul Gi were great together! Again, I wasn't expecting much but their chemistry clicked right away and I enjoyed every second of their screen time together. Their relationship developed so naturally I really can't praise them enough. Supporting cast was great too. Ahn Hyo Seop was a little awkward but his character clicked perfect with Seul Gi's as well and I enjoyed his character.

Music | There were a few songs that were used for this drama, I believe Kim Hyung Joong sang for this special and I enjoyed all the songs used.

Rewatch | Most definitely. Only 2 episodes and I loved every second of it. I already want to go back and rewatch it again.

Overall | Why can't Korean dramas always be this easy to watch?! Minimal drama but still enough to push the story along without anything feeling dragged out. The first episode felt like I had already watched 7 episodes of a regular Korean drama and was extremely content. I'm sad because this special was only 2 episodes but I'm happy because I wouldn't want this to be dragged out to 16 episodes..maybe. I honestly wouldn't mind more episode with Doojoon and Seul Gi. Maybe I'm just too big of a sucker for romance dramas. This is a very easy drama to get through and it's perfect for days when you don't feel like watching your "Currently Watching" list but also don't feel like start another 20-24 episode drama.

I've already seen some of the work for the main actors and they were good before so I was expecting them to be good in this drama also. And they were! It really showed how a person from the past would respond to encountering someone from the future. It was funny and cute. It made me laugh and cry also. The story was sweet and romantic with a bit of a sad read more ending but an overall happy one. I look forward to seeing these two actors show off their skills in another romance drama.

The stories themselves aren't that similar but I felt the vibe is. They are both cute dramas about high school students dealing with life and romance. Though romance is more central in Minami-kun no koibito: My Little Lover. Both also have light supernatural elements (time travel in Splash, shrinking in Minami-kun).

Splash Splash Love is the abridge fictional version of this in 2 short episodes the meaning and motives behind the creation of Hangul will changed because of a time traveling girl. If you like watching toned down "fictional historical" this is the show. This show is about King Sejong as well.

it was cute and adorable. i was a little confused about the point of her growing through a puddle and traveling to a historical time and then having to make it rain but its an okay drama. watch it if u got time and u're bored.

I watched this before and watched it again today since I have to go somewhere later and didnt have time to watch an entire drama. This was like 2 hours so it was perfect for the time I had. I think it could have been better but its not bad, it had some pretty funny parts and sweet moments. Watch it on a day you dont have enough time to watch a 16 episodes drama. It will probably keep you entertained for the little time you have available.

Only 2 episodes and I cannot stop thinking about this one. So so so adorable. Kim Seul Gi ruined me. I can't deal with that much cute.

The whole thing was like a roller coaster; fast, with lots of ups and downs and loops and I loved every minute of it. There may not be 2 episodes of kdrama as funny and cute as this. I give it a 9.5/10.

Kim Seul Gi, man..... I mean... man.
