Conflicted feelings...

This episode is my favorite so far. I like the growth Prince So displays while speaking with Lady Soo. Wook kind of abandoning his wife for her cousin is hella sus though.

Five Stars

OMG how can a mother be so cruel to her son, I hate Queen Yoo...... I just wanted to hug the 4th prince :'( he have suffered so much!!! My heart breaks when I see him crying.
And the magic words of this episode was: SHE BELONGS TO ME!!!!!!!!!! :) :)
But still I can't choose a team, 4th or 8th prince???

Episode 4

This episode was so good and I'm so in love. It's been a while since a drama made me feel like this drama is doing. I'm honestly obsessed and I can't stop rewatching the scenes that I like (mostly the scenes with Hae Soo and Wang So) and reading reviews of the drama because I'm just so in love and can't get enough. Also it was a pleasure to watch So (and also the other princes) continually growing fond of Soo.
Waiting is a pain, but I'm so looking forward to the next episodes and to see how the story will unfold (I'm even considering watching the Chinese version, sigh).

My inner Fangirl has awakened, and she's obsessed.

First off the music has totally grown on me, and I think the sound guy did an excellent job matching it up this time! Not to mention I love the OSTs for this song.

When I got done with this episode I think every fangirl bone in my body was freaking out! Then the critical part took over. I felt a little at war with myself over this episode.

There's a lot crammed in there developing the wuvv vibes with the 8th Prince and 4th Prince. 10th Prince makes attempts to woo his Lady Soo. Then of course the 14th Prince gets his crush revved up. It was a bit of a crammed time span, but it was all done really well. Not to mention all the other plot movements.

So Hae Soo's servant helper girl and the 9th Prince have something going on??? It's also interesting that we're seeing even more of the 8th Prince's sister's meanness. Apparently she beats people regularly.

The most powerful scene was were we picked up right where the last episode left us. Honestly it's not where I thought it would go. I thought he'd tell his mother off and defend the Crown Prince. But then it totally hit me he wiped out all those people not to give his mom a warning and get her on the straight and narrow. No, he was desperately trying to gain her love. To show how far he was willing to protect her.

The entire scene that transpired was powerful. Watching Lee Joon Gi as the 4th Prince realizing the depth of his own mother's hatred and contempt for him was . . . I don't have words. It was painful to watch in that invoked super powerful emotions.

To lighten the mood I will say I tried to mimic the emotional face twitch that he displayed. I couldn't do it! My face. No.

Overall I do feel that in order to establish where all of Hae Soo's love interests/rivals stand I thought it was a little crammed for story. However, I still think the writing did a decent job of it, especially the scenes that developed the rest of the events. I'm very curious as to how the 4th Prince will proceed. He clearly has no ill will for his younger brother, and I wish that they could be friends. The 4th Prince realizes that his mother is leaving the 14th Prince weakened by his illusions and naivety

Either way I'm really excited for the next episode!! I'm torn because while the 8th Prince and Hae Soo do have amazing chemistry. I feel like their love is abrupt. It has had time to develop. However, the 4th Prince and Hae Soo are a slow burn. Their sweet scenes are great. Not to mention that closing scene.

My PrtScn button hurts. It's not getting a break though: I'm going back for a rewatch!

The best of the best! Must watch!

This drama is my most anticipated drama of 2016 and it never disappointed me. The storyline, casts are good. I don't understand why people say IU and Baekhyun can't act. They are all great and I think they deserve better. They don't deserve the hate they're receiving from the audience. This is a great drama and I recommend those people who are hesitating to watch this to watch. You won't be disappointed ???? Scarlet Heart Ryeo, fighting!!!

Five Stars

My print screen button got so abused this episode! I ended up taking 71 screenshots of Wang So. Lee Joon Ki is just too damn handsome. I am so thankful to this drama for introducing me to him. I even started watching another one of his dramas, Scholar Who Walks the Night, in order to get my fix. Every episode I feel more and more protective of Wang So. That scene with his mother in the bedroom was so heartbreaking. LJK can really act his pants off. I hate how ostracized he is by his own family through no fault of his own. I replayed that scene where he slapped 14th prince 3 times. And his relationship with Hae Soo reminds me of Beauty and the Beast with the way he is so awkward around her ^.^ I can't wait for their relationship to develop further. At this point, I don't even care if the leads have a happy ending (although, I hope they do). I just want Wang So happy and safe. I was laughing so hard at Wook in the end tho. The way he had a full blown angst fit over Soo. Poor dude...it's not going to end well with you.
