The beginning was typical horror movie set up, but there is logic to bring one of the curses to the modern age bringing dvds and the internet into the urban legend. The middle you add some "experts" that try their best. The end gives you the best stuff horror movies can gives you. Make sure to watch the after the credits. The end song is pretty kick a$$ too.

Tidak seperti film Sadako yang pernah saya tonton sebagai "Ringgu" tahun 2000an, film ini mungkin merupakan versi modernnya, dan saya tidak cukup terkesan. Inti dari cerita ini adalah perebutan pengambilan tumbal yang dilakukan oleh Sadako dan Kayako, sehingga bermakna versus atau dalam artian "pertandingan". Dari segi jumpscare dan suasana takut menurutku agak kurang ya sebagai film horror, namun daya ketertarikan film ini adalah bukan dari segi itu semua ; melainkan dari makna "versus" dari judul film ini, secara memberikan nama "Sadako" sebagai hantu terkenal di Jepang sehingga orang-orang menjadi penasaran apa maksudnya, namun menurutku ini bukan horror yang impresif, alias ya . . . horror biasa aja. Seperti horror negara Jepang pada umumnya, film ini tidak memberikan resolusi yang mudah dimengerti.Was this review helpful to you?
