A special task force will mix cops and criminals in order to catch bad guys, but this time the good-bad guys will be con artists who use their skills of fraud and deception in order to help catch tax evaders.
Have you watched a drama that you want to know how it ends but you don't want it to end because if it ends, you wouldn't find anything equivalent to this? Well look no more. The story of this drama is one of a kind not the regular thief and criminal, cat and mouse hunt. If you're tired of the gooey romance and the common love triangles, and you want something more read moresubstantial go for it because this deserves all the praises it can get.
Story : the story is almost flawless and fast paced enough that there isn't a single episode that wouldn't give you a high. The twists and turns that happen are almost realistic and you will find yourself getting slipped into the story.
Acting : Ma Dong Seok and Seo In Gook. DO i need say more? the characters in the drama are played so well, you start believing in them. They take you a roller coaster ride and they do it well!!
I dont write reviews normally. But for this drama, I had to :D ! Probably one of the best I have watched till date. The writer keeps you on hook until the end. Twistception at its finest. You wont be able to predict anything, trust me ! Not to mention, each of the characters have a special spot in my heart now. Of course, this is only due to the spectacular acting read moreby the stellar cast. Seo In Guk and Ma Dong Seok stole the show :) With shows like these though, re-watch might not be as great an experience as when you watched it the first time. So with a very heavy heart, I say goodbye to these wonderful characters but with the hope that one day I would have forgotten the story enough to return back to it again.
This drama was great from start to finish, each character had such a individual personality which they played so well. It really brought the drama together and the loyalty was really god to see. God, I need another drama like this.
Wow. I did not expect that I will enjoy this one a lot. After reading the comments, I am guessing that they were referencing the Bad Guys series at the ending? Is it also a good series? Is it too serious? A serious drama full of tragedy is difficult for me to finish. At least this drama is tagged with comedy so I gave it a try, and I have no regrets after. You do not really need a lot of funny scenes to enjoy this drama. It is already entertaining, the script and story line it is so clever and amusing.
I really like this drama because each episode has surprises that it keeps me on the edge of my seat. There's no boring part for me. And I love the three lovely ladies here - they're composed and mature unlike those childish and annoying female leads in other dramas.
Half way through the 1st episode right now, I can't help but wonder why the tax officers aren't equipped with cameras before they walk into other people's houses to collect money or valuable items?
I mean, it makes the job easier and the records will prove when someone deliberately stops them from doing their job or when someone starts a fight against them or when they do find something valuable. I don't know how Korean tax departments work, but having cameras on them before they walk in someone's house is to protect both parties. I suppose if they did have cameras on them, we wouldn't have this drama made........
Based on the reviews and positive feedback, I had really high expectations of this drama; but who the heck buys a car without seeing its owner face to face or going together to a mechanic to do a quick check or even see the car's registration and contract? Do people just transfer money first, then go find the car's owner for the contract? If you're buying a car on sites like Craiglist and the seller says I can't meet you 'cuz I live far away, I'm pretty sure you'll hang up at that point. It's obviously a scam.
Okay, maybe Baek Seong's supposed to be a naive character, but for someone who works as a tax officer for 8 years, it's highly unlikely that he'll get conned like that. I'm quite disappointed in the first episode.
EDIT: ....the scam in episode 3 actually happened to me a long time ago. Someone somehow got a hold of my credit card info and used it to buy iTunes songs like every 2 minutes, until the bank closed down my account thinking it's fraud. With that said, I don't know how why the old man in episode was getting conned into thinking he'd need to withdraw all of his money from the bank? I mean, that itself just doesn't make any sense. Do Korean banks not let people close their current account and transfer the money to another account?
This is a nice hidden gem, that I wished more people would watch. The cons were daring and I was always surprised as to how they would pull them off. VERY Ocean's 11. But THE best part for me comes at the very end (i'm talking ab the last 2 minutes) when a surprise character from another OCN drama makes an appearance. I'm sure it was just a nod to Bad Guys rather than a true link from one show to another, but I still fan-girled for a solid 20 minutes afterward!!!
im only on ep 7 but jung do has been in so many car crashes... is it foreshadowing??? is he going to just eat it in a carcrash and never wake up??? edit: fuck theyre becoming a family i wontt fucking live if somebody dies i swear ill die too
