I picked this one out of all 12 U-Prince stories because of the colorful main characters: the hippy and the geek.
The story is about how Mel Be, a science geek gets dumped by her boy friend who is also a science geek. His reason for his break up was that they were too much alike.
Hippy witnesses the break up and comes to talk to Mel Be and asks for her read moreBeatles T-shirt as he's a fan of the band. After that Mel Be decides that she wants to prove whether her ex-boy friend was right about dating similar people by asking Hippy, a singer who is quite the opposite of her, to date her for five days in exchange of the shirt.
This is a great story about falling in love with the 'seemingly wrong guy' in college.
The five days are full of trips and stories that is full of fun and drama that just touches your heart.
And the way they meet and fall in love is believable and touching.
The songs were actually really written and produced by Kun the main actor in real life which makes them even more meaningful.
This one right here is a story that took love to develop. It is not your typical boy meets girl and they become physically attracted to each other. I think the story line was awesome with great delivery. It is a story that love can be found in unlikely places when people take chances. This part is a stand alone. If this was a solo movie it can be great itself.
One of the best bittersweet movies I've seen. The premise is fairly the same of an artist (of a different genre) with a neurological condition meeting a young female student. In both stories the characters learn more about themselves and the true meaning of love and life.
One simple aspect music and musician and student. In the Hippie is a student too, but hey. There is great music in both and the lead actor in both composed the music and wrote the songs and sung them and performed them. So it's just fitting that it's here. However, Hippie is far from a liar. He's ridiculously raw and straightforward. This is on the superficial level of just music and rock.
Only 4 episodes and I was bawling by the end of it. The ending made me feel so... I don't know... I cant even put a word to it.
It made sense that he didn't remember anything because thats the reason he didn't want to get surgery in the first place. He kept those notes & photos, so that even if he didn't remember her, he understood her importance in his life and the feelings he had when he was with her. Ahhh... it's heart-renching.
hands down this is probably the best u prince series ever. i just can't seem to find any flaw in their story. the actor and actress deliver the story in the richest way possible, making my heart clench most of the time, as if they were retelling their true story. there's zero awkwardness in their acting and i found that was quite amazing, more plus point for them both. and damn what a visual couple you got there, they're equally attractive im like??? yAs. their chemistry is the cherry on top, although sometimes i find that mel be said things that hurt hippie's feeling (yes, you can see hurt all written on his face, that's how great his acting was) and gurl im not liking that that much.
and for the story, well damn this is deep y'all just straight up ocean deep level. i'm warning you since i literally sobbed during the ending. there are many certain scene that will make your heart jolts in pain bcs IT WAS TOO REAL I CANT. i love that they met when the rest of the world are practically against them, and hearing hippie saying "rock" for the nth time makes me happy. mel be has become my favorite u princess, and yes, she rocks!
overall i think this u prince series stand out the most. from the characterization, plot, acting, and music. one thing i'm bitter about is how short they feel happy being with each other!!! hey five days are hella short and both of them emphasized that during the series, especially hippie who explicitly say that. and four episodes are way too short! i want to see their cameo in other u prince series but it seems impossible since hippie's story are the last in his inner circle ( the order goes from sibtit's, hawk's, kiryu's, hippie's)
OMG...just...OMG. I loved this drama. The ending, that ending. Seriously. I mean the progression of the story is great. The acting was the best. To me, this was the best U-Prince. Gentle Vet was my fave, but got knocked down to number 2. Crazy Artist is number 1. The acting is just phenomenal. The music on point (it's great when the actor wrote, produced, and sung all the work himself).
The ending takes the cake. He says they're soulmates. That's the only thing I'll give you and this is fundamental. That term is so important. Two opposites that were always meant to be forged together---a negative and a positive attract. two negatives and two positives repel each other. Think of a battery. Wow. Just wow...I loved this drama. I really do.
Yes, yes, yes, yes. OMG, yes, yes, yes. This is what made this episode so powerful. And it was the ring. The ring. When he said he found it and that it looked like he was planning on giving it to her but he wasn't sure. What I also loved was when the camera showed that he had a similar ring so it was like he proposed to her. Therefore, it was more than just making new memories that they're bound together.
In the last episode, the way the doctor said that he may not remember anything made me laugh. I don't even know why. I guess it's because of the abrupt change of tone from happy to sad in the middle of the episode. Overall, this is one of the better stories in U-Prince series. :)
He did remove the tumor. The doctor said he did. I think the doctor had to in the emergency, if he wanted Hippie to live. I know he wasn't allowed to. I think the doctor saw Hippie as his son over the time he was treating him and he didn't want Hippie to die. Furthermore, let's be honest here. It's not like Hippie remembers saying no.
