I really love supernatural romance especially the ones between alive and dead ppl like vampires, zombies or ghosts. And putting a crime/thriller aspect to it makes a perfect story for me. But sadly it was badly executed in here. The Heroin tried to look intelligent and brave but she appeared rather tense and the crime story felt like the ones in very old black and white movies where you find some clues read more with the main character and get to interpret it for yourself but the heroine/hero isn't the one who resolves it, it's the criminals driven into the corner who stand there with a gun thinking they've won so they can explain what they did in every detail but then right after they confessed everything of course they fail somehow....
Also the romance wasn't really good, there were no good reasons given for the he both to fall in love so quickly + the hint to a happy end is very unfitting. How can they meet again? Why not explain it?
Well but the horror special effects were really creepy/digusting

My rating is a 9.5 for overall, however if you look at the specific ratings here, it says otherwise. Those are specific. I'd rewatch this film a few times over, because it's feel good and a bit slap-stick with some rather deep topics.

I didn't think I was going to like it. I really wanted to watch it cause I wanted to see how good looking the boy was. I couldn't tell, read more cause of the make up. He was cute. I know superficial, but I had to check. He's hot. I'm an old woman not a fan girl, but us old ladies can be superficial too.

I liked the way they set up the movie only because I really did like the girls acting. I liked the way she seemed blind versus actually seeing the ghosts. Which is pretty cool. I became tired with the whole actually seeing ghosts the way the Kdramas were running them. So this was a very refreshing.

There were really deep issues that involve triggers like suicide, bullying, murder, child pornography, statutory rape, etc. Therefore, there are serious issues running around here. While on the flip side there are also cheesy effects that are used that you get or you think kill parts of the film.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I would watch it again. I thought the acting was really nice. I did like the story. I was hoping for actually a happy ending here. kind of like the boy ghost is reborn or something. Something. Something here. Something. I loved the music. I think the soundtrack was on point. I would rewatch this a few times. It's a feel good film despite some of the heavy topics.

I liked the use of friendship here. Friendship was really the biggest push in the film, if not the mystery and a bit of the romance. The friendship between Ant and Mon really did it for me. Senior/Mon friendship/romance was on point.

These things would make me come back. I would get some popcorn. Pick a Sunday when there is only golf and you have nothing else to do and just watch it. You won't be disappointed. It's a nice matinee film.

The most comparable: A comedy story about a teenage girl who runs into mysterious happenings through her communicating with ghosts. Asuka suddenly develops her supernatural ability after her traffic accident. While trying to help make ghosts' wishes come true, she falls in love with a mysterious guy named Kaito who turns out to be an incarnate ghost.

I think Ghost Friends is a nice show version.

***Based on all the shows I've listed...I noted I've watched way way way too many of these types of shows.

Lead character has a car accident falls into a coma and wakes up to see that she can see and interact with ghosts. She starts helping them complete their tasks. Mon helps Senior complete his own.

not bad, a bit above average. not sure what i expected from this one but it wasn't bad at all. i just didn't find the lead actress' acting up to par.

Not a bad movie! Kind of a classic teen horror film where the kids do things that make you scream at the screen, "Don't go in there!" Nice that most things wrapped up at the end. Not sure how they could pull off a sequel . . .

I can't even see it as a classic teen horror. Carrie is a classic teen horror. Friday the 13th is a classic teen horror. This is not a classic teen horror. It's just a good watch. But no where near classic anything. I see nothing that would make you scream at the screen. Nightmare on Elm Street I can barely type because just thinking about it freaks me out. This movie is not a scream at the screen.

I do see where they could pull off a sequel. It's the same way, Let's Fight Ghosts, could pull off a sequel if they wanted too. Bring a copy of him to life (it's 30 years later---plenty of time to be reborn here). He could have been in coma or something until he woke up----then he also gained some of his memories. For instance in that flash back where he's sitting there and there seems to be a girl in the background---almost like she's coming up behind him. Easy tie in. He wakes up seeing them or something or smelling or whatever and they go around helping ghosts and stuff. Partners for life.

But I have to say you might still be able to watch this bc the horror scene are minor, there not many of them and they last only a few secs, just don't look at the screen at, that's what I did XD
