Ahh 17 weeks and its over! *sad face* Refresh Man was the first Taiwanese drama I watched, and I’ve got to say, I loved every moment of it! (except for the one episode per week, it was terrible!!) The story was pretty standard, nothing overly excitable but it was still delivered very well and captured my interest majority of the time. The middle did drag read more in my opinion, maybe just after that half way mark but the story picked up towards the end, and it was very suspenseful and left me wondering what was going to happen next! Aaron Yan (so charming ;-;) and Joanne Tseng have great chemistry, the friendship and romance between the two is very cute, overall they played their roles very well, and I look forward to watching more dramas by the two in the future! The rest of the cast also did a solid job, Lene Lai was brilliant, she was probably my favourite character! Refresh Man shows determination and hard work through the characters and their roles, and if you’re new to Taiwanese dramas like I was definitely give this a try, or if you just love romance and business-like themes I hope you will enjoy Refresh Man as much as I did!

Refresh Man is a sweet romance with some corporate games thrown in. The corporate story is good, but nothing that is intense or gripping. I felt like it was predictable and sometimes boring. However, if you look at it from the love story side of it, then it is beautiful and fun. It is a little cheesy at times, but it seemed to go with the flow of the story. The side read more stories for each character actually add to the story and to the understanding of the male lead. Also, it helps with character development. I think the ending was well done, but could have spent more time on the lead couple.

I don't watch many Taiwanese dramas, so I don't know the actresses well. I wonder if Tseng Joanne is a popular actress. She drove me crazy with that frown look. Very rarely in this drama was she smiling naturally. I don't know how to explain my aversion to her acting, but she is pretty. She did an ok job as Zhong Yu Tang. I didn't think she had any chemistry with Ji Wen Kai played by Yan Aaron. Maybe it was because they knew each other since high school. I hear Aaron plays a lot of CEOs. I can see why since he does it well. He was efficient but not cold. I enjoyed his character a lot. This is the second time I have watched Lee Jack play the second lead. In this one he was more of a jerk as Wang Zi Yu. He is cute though. LOL The other actors are good also.

Some of the music I really enjoyed and some of it I absolutely hated. Lalalalalalala

I won't rewatch this.

If you like romance where the guy loves the girl from beginning to end, then this is the drama for you.

Aaron plays pretty much the same role (CEO of a company) and the female lead also works for the company.

I have no comment on this drama.. Tbh I watched it because of Yan Aaron and his acting from Just You, but this drama got me so irritated to the point of wanting to quit watching halfway through episode 1.

i am very discouraged by the comments that this gets worse b/c i really don't like Aaron Yan's character and if this is what you consider "romantic" i feel sorry for you. i'm on ep 10 and have only seen maybe 10 collective minutes so far where WenKai isn't being an awful, petty emotionally stunted human being who is using abuser logic to justify his treatment of Yutong.

I finished it, but good lord it was awful... The "romance" part starts late and isn't very interesting... All I could hear or see was soap here, soap there... meh. If you're looking for some Aaron Yan's dramas, this one is a big no.

Am I the only one seeing the resemblance between the female lead and Shin Min Ah? Aside from the fact that they're both drop dead gorgeous

The leads were good the story was good but soon after they became a couple their love seemed to be a certain level and the rest of the story is mostly focused on the soap product. The cast was great the 15 episodes was great but soon after it was somewhat boring into the 16th episode until the end.

This drama was good at first then just got more and more boring. Maybe it's because I actually liked the leads better before they got together. They were sweet and the actors tried hard, but for me the chemistry just wasn't there.

Okay, I really really enjoyed this at first. It was fun to watch, the main leads had great chemistry and tension between them, the drama had its funny moments. But after episode 11 or 12 it started getting slower. Now, I can't say it got horrible, for me most of the episodes were still quite enjoyable, however they weren't nearly as good as the first, bigger part of this drama was. It all ended in me only skipping through the other half of episode 17, because there was nothing that really kept my interest.
I see a lot of people complaining there's no drama, no obstacles in the second half. Well, that is not true, there is, but the drama is in the business part of the drama, not the romance.
Also, another thing you should be aware of before watching this -- the cheesiness level is quite high.
So this drama would be a good choice if you like cheesy dramas that sometimes do like to concentrate on business more than romance and if you are searching for a romantic drama of Aaron's and can't decide between Fall In Love With Me and this. :D Because this is much better than FILWM was. :D (Can't comment anything on the comparison of this and Just You because I haven't watched it, and I most probably won't.)

I can honestly say that Fall In Love With Me was the first drama I ever skipped episodes with, and I usually like Aaron Yen dramas; but as far as Just You goes, I've seen all three of the dramas you mention, and Just You, to me is the best out of the three. You should give it a chance

I was so into this drama until episode 11 or 12.... forced myself to watch ep 13 and since then i have not been motivated to watch.. even though i'm the greatest fan of romance dramas., this one became boring and draggy. Since they cut it down from 20 to 17 eps, can anyone tell me if there was any improvement in the last 4 eps?

Aaron is talented, but the roles/dramas he chooses are just so-so. Perhaps romance dramas (with dashes of melo) are the majority of what Taiwan produces, and therefore his options are limited. Don't really know. I'd love to see another side of this acting. I think he'd do well playing a dark, grittier role in some sort of crime/psychological drama.

This is the second taiwanese drama that I've seen, I started watching it with some high expectations after "Just you" and in my opinion the story was pretty good till some point when I feel like it shoud've finished and they just kept on adding episodes that were made just so they could meet their 17 episodes goal, which btw was actually of 20 ep in the beginning.
