The main characters really remind me of each other since they're both physically strong females. And they kind of look alike!

I need whole soundtrack on my phone! One of the best soundtrack I've ever heard. But it's sad cuz will be released after the last episode. ;( I really hate that. Why they always do that?

The 8.8 rating is ridonculous. This Should reach at least a 9.0.

It has it flaws, not to mention the way they handled lgbt and domestic violence issues by covering it with humour. I like this drama, but I can't love it until they resolve those issues.

Agree. I love this drama too but the crime scenes are not that appealing nor exciting... 8.8 rating is a high score in mdl too. But still I would not mind if it has a 9 rating here. ❤
Though I think this drama would get a 10 from me cause Hyungsik and Bong Soon overtakes everything and fills up the gap

Hmmm, not yet. I still need some more cute scenes between Hyungsik and Bong Soon to raise my rating.

      exactly how i feel!
even though this is one of my favorite currently airing dramas, i just cannot bring myself to ignore the abusive mother (no matter how hilarious she is) and the unnecessary lgbt stereotypes

I like the way China being a homophobic country , then also writers , directors & producers take courage to create BL based dramas to cut off the stereotypes . I myself is a fan of BL dramas

You may probably don't agree with me or hate me, but oh well... Mind, I found some of these "humorous" scenes uncomfortable and not nice as well.

@Astrologist, I understand and respect your point of view on this matter, but you saying "No, it should bother you!" is rather strong term - should the way "how people have feel about these problems" be forced instead of changed thanks to substantive discussion? Because excuse me, but it felt like someone is telling me/other people how we should feel about it (even tho I may feel the same).
And that if someone is not feeling the same way (or like in terms of SK they make it as a jokes)? Is making arguments and crusade a good answer for these social problems? Yes, it is regrettable, annoying and sad, that the world is not perfect and that we all should wish for world-wide social awareness of these important matters (LGBTQ, domestic violence and MANY MANY MORE).
Maybe community-made petition to jtbc about how fans are feeling about these "jokes" would help them understand the problem and avoid them in future productions? (And no, I am not sarcastic now - maybe it would be indeed a nice idea?)

Yes, as a drama lover we are watching Asian dramas and get angry when we see certain stereotypes, which "may be funny or normal" (?!?!) in Asia, but isn't Western culture having also other problems? "Whitening Asians" in TV/movies, using the image of "stereotypical Asian person" as a jokes? Is it better? It's hurting and making jokes of 60% of world population! Hey, how many jokes about "dump blonde girls" we have? I am blonde girl myself and I should be very very angry about them.

This world has many many more flaws and problems and not only SK/drama writers are here to blame, I am pretty sure Western culture would have such jokes somewhere as well. I'm saying it's not only SK problem but whole world problem - even my own home country is considered as quite conservative and homophobic.

Well, considering that this is a SK drama, SK is (naturally) the sole focus of my comment...
I'm not apologizing for wording myself strongly.
Stereotypes should bother you. I will sit down with anybody to help them see that.
Once we normalize it, it's an issue. It should not be swept under the rug.
I'm sorry, but I do not see where I ever said western culture stereotypes are better/okay or how they're appropriate in a response to my comment on SK homophobia?? I get what you're saying. But it's akin to the "all lives matter" vs "black lives matter" thing... You're detracting from SK's issues by going "but look at me, look at me!" This was a very specific comment, with a very specific purpose:
South Korea has a homophobic culture --> This is a South Korean drama that has homophobic stereotypes --> This is a website about said drama --> My comment.
I really don't understand what your purpose is here at all. I will not apologize for not "wording" myself in a softer way. Thank you for your thoughts, however. Good day.
(One of the only jewels in your comment was the community-made petition.)

Not sure, if there will be such a need as you have expressed your thoughts, with which I agree, and I have express my thoughts regarding the way they were expressed (and this matter was also explained by you later on).

I still think it would be a good idea to share such feedback with the drama producers - if there would be a way to contact them (like sending email to tv station), so they may consider it for the future (maybe they would take info consideration the feedback from international fans).
Because, yes we can discuss here these matters, but producers rather won't read our opinions here, but if things may change in SK and drama industry, when they should be bought to creators attention.

PS. you can PM any time, not only about this particular matter but any drama related discussion ;)
