I'll be honest and say I began watching this because of the poster and the synopsis I read about the drama. The synopsis said that it was about a child got lost in the woods and was raised by a pack of wolves, the king of wolves... Who wouldn't want to watch that?
I can honestly say that it was not what I was expecting. Lol~

The story was good in the beginning, but then I don't know what happened. The drama isn't the best but that doesn't mean it's not watchable. There are so many flaws you can point out, but besides that, it's so cliché and some of it is cute at the same time. It's one of those dramas where you still watch even if it's not the best. Something about it made me kept watching. I guess there were three things that made me continue to watch. One, was the relationship Mi Mi's family had. They were a warm and loving family. They would even welcome a complete stranger into their home and treat them like one of their own. It was touching to watch. Another thing that made me continue to watch was the relationship between the leads, Mi Mi and Ze Ming. I absolutely love the romantic clichés in dramas. I'm a sucker for it. The relationship between them was cute and sweet. In the beginning, Ze Ming was like a child, an adorable one at that, with the sweetest smile that just melts your heart. Mi Mi was able to help him reconnect with old and establish new relationships. This helped him to mature and experience things he's once experienced as a child and even the things he's never experienced before. She had such a huge impact on his life that he couldn't bear the thought of living without her and along the way, she felt the same. They're so cute together. >w<
The last thing that kept me watching was the actor Chang Derek (Ze Ming). Really hard to believe that this was his first drama ever. He did an amazing job, especially with his emotional scenes. Those scenes he did where he had to execute some emotions, he did really well and it was very believable. I love the fact how his character had development. He went from an innocent, sweet childlike person to a mature, and still lovable person who had to adapt to a new environment and be surrounded by people all the time. I also liked An Amber's character, Mi Mi. Others might have found her annoying but I found her really adorable actually. She becomes very shy and cute around Ze Ming and you could tell she loved him very much as he did her. The other characters were ok, I honestly didn't care much about them. Some of the characters became annoying but I did like her parents a lot. They were such warm and loving people. It was nice seeing Chen Katie again since Bromance, but her character seemed the same from how it was in Bromance. Lol~

I absolutely loved the OST. At least 4 of the song were sung by Bii, including the opening song~? I love listening to him sing. I did like the two songs that were sung by An Amber as well. Her voice is pleasant. I liked the ending song that was sung by Dino Lee as well~ ^^

I'd recommend this but if you guys are willing to watch, watch with an open mind and if you can ignore the flaws or at least acknowledge them, I think you'll actually enjoy. Even if some of it was unbearable to watch, I still enjoyed for the sweet and cuteness between the leads and the strong bond the family had. This is one of the very few dramas I'll always have a soft spot for~ ^^

I enjoyed Wolf Prince because was diff then most dramas. Some people may not have taken anything from this drama. But found it a learning exp on the many ways of forgiveness. Being true 1 luv. Others realizing they won't have chance 2 win his heart. So the interfering stops & helps that person to do everything and anything to win s luv. As long it's not done in malice way. Luved it cause showed family values. A big way big heart on the true meaning of forgiving & keeping all the wrongs hurts in family to wrk out together. A great love story

I first started to watch this drama in Summer time, than I got hooked with some other dramas and completely forgotten about, I have rewatched this drama this week.

I do like Derek Chang & Amber Ann that's one of the reasons I wanted to watch this drama, the other reason is it reminded me the two kids were mentioned in Noam Chomsky's Linguistics textbook i have studied in University. In that book there were 2 kids raised by animals / raised in wild.

So here goes what I think about the drama,

I know many people moan about that they have not used real wolves in the drama, but come on it is almost impossible to find actor wolves, they have used Siberian Husky dogs instead which are wolf mix.

Husky's are very friendly and intelligent. The two huskies done a great job. I am sure they been awarded with loads of food.

There were some stuff that caught my eye, the decoration in the cave, there were artificial flowers, Ze Ming was pretty civilised, his haircut was modern, his clothing is also the same although he was raised in wild, he is speech language was pretty good, I believe it is because of the radio.

One day MiMi goes to Wolves Mountain to take photos of wolves, that's how MiMi & Ze Ming met, I think for both of them it was love at first sight.

Wolves are monogamous, So Ze Ming considers MiMi as his soulmate gives up his life in wild, takes his wolf dad and goes to civilised life, he starts to live with MiMi's family.

The first half of the drama I found the sister annoying, I just disliked the character, but on the second half we learn why she was behaving like that.

We don't have a bitch fe/male 2nd lead here. All the problems caused by the uncle and everything is resolved by the end of the drama.

As in most of the TW dramas Bii was behind a couple of songs

Ze Ming also matured, he still have that childish lovely side but it was more hidden when he matured.

We have loads of romance, loads of kissing scenes, We see how everyone ends of with their fated ones.

It has a rewatch value, I totally enjoyed the drama.

Not what I was expecting! I strongly recommend this drama for those who love also Taiwanese romance/ comedy dramas! This is one you can't skip!

I started this drama because I was bored and needed a break from watching Korean dramas. I tend to watch the typical romance Taiwanese dramas because I love the comedy, romance and acting in Taiwanese dramas. Series like It Started with a Kiss, My Lucky Star, Just You, Refresh Man, When I see you Again, Behind Your Smile & many more have a special place in my heart because of the chemistry between the leading characters, and a few cute side stories from the second leads that accompany the series. This drama falls in that category. It has everything a Taiwanese drama typically has - the romance, the comedy, the cute scenes, the supportive/ opposing families, the second leads that do everything they can to get the lead's love etc, etc; so I thoroughly enjoyed this drama! I didn't expect to like it at all because the plot just didn't click with me, but I was wrong! I can see now why this drama has it's high ratings in Taiwan!

I loved the chemistry between the lead characters - you can see it from the get-go, and Ze Ming is hotness/cuteness all in the one package. The story does drag a little in the middle, but not too much that it ruins the drama. I find that these days Taiwanese dramas are getting better and better at managing the dreaded random stuff that happens in the middle mark in dramas. I liked the OST - esp. I will miss you by Bii. Mi Mi's family is so likeable and seriously makes this drama a little more heartwarming.

Overall, I highly recommend this drama for those who enjoy the typical romance T-Dramas- you can't miss this one! P.S I loved the Bromance reference in this drama LOL!

fluffy and sweet but nothing too deep

This show was very sweet. I loved their relationship together and their families were great too. I liked the plot-twists with her illness and all the uncle things. It was very interesting to see him go from basically an innocent manchild to a smart businessman. I liked how each of them had their separate personality and dreams and how everyone became friends in the end. I rlly liked the last episode. the reason for this low rating is bc while it was interesting it was also a bit cringy, boring, and very slow. Also, I don't really like Chinese dramas that much but still decided to give it a try. It was very sweet and I recommend watching it for smth lighthearted and fluffy. Also, Wolf was soooooooooo protective and possessive of MiMi it was very fun and interesting to watch. And the kisses in the last episode?! Yummmmmmmmm

quiet howler, this one

when tame siberian huskies put on sheep's clothing masquerading as a dangerous pack of wolves, you kinda realise the Jungle Book Disneyfication that's coming -- wait, except the Jungle Book is Disney. Amber is right in character as the scatter-brained older sister, but I think pouty Katie played her role better. The rest of the series is just a bare-chested Derek vehicle, which is probably why viewers embarked on it which begets the obvious question, why did I? perhaps it was for the cute fluffy canines, which were obviously mamalutes and huskies, not wolves.

Just found this drama in 2019.. But it's better than never right? All I can say is I really love and enjoy watching this. Every episode never be boring and always have a new story. Not only about romance l, it's also about family and humanity towards animal.. As a animal lover, I really be sad at part

The storyline is pretty good and success to make the viewers enjoy the story.. I don't like some part and story but still enjoyable to watch

Acting? I would like to give Derek Chang 10/10... He have a good impression and made the viewers into it.. He really suit become a 'wolf'.. have a cute face with a hunk body UwU .. The female lead look so awkward and I don't really like her to potray the MiMi character. I think ZiZi would be better and others actor do the good job also.

music? I really like it!!! I love how the director put the song at the mid of episode (maybe ads time in the TV)

Re-watch value? Maybe I will rewatch just at the part before Zeming become a 'fully normal person' because it's really cute moment

Oh BTW this is my first straight Taiwan drama I ever watch.. Before this, I'm just watch BL series when it comes to Taiwan drama

FIRST OFF, let me tell you right now that I don’t care what anyone says but this show was absolutely amazing, I totally understand the part where people said it dragged during a certain part like the middle and it did but it was worth it because the beginning and ending were absolutely break taking and nothing can top this for me at the moment. I’m so glad I gave this a whole chance because IT’S CALLED A DRAMA FOR A REASON AND I WAS HERE FOR THE WHOLE RIDE! MY heart is so whole and full at this beautiful couple that went through hell and back to be together and the support and story, god what a show. Bravo!!!

A tear jerker RomCom you must watch.

Love this show. I thought this is just another RomCom to enjoy. But I was wrong. I never expected it to be a tear jerker show.

The plot of the story is simple. A child was lost in the woods. He grew up with wolves hense the title . He was happy, wild and free. He was the prince of wolf.

Then he met the FL, everything changes when wolves finds their mates. She was a fun, loving daughter who's sick but not weak.

Most of the actors looks familiar already to me. They did a very good acting portraying their roles. I've never seen eating rice as a heart breaking, tear jerking moment. That's how good it is.

This show has very good OST too.

If I'm to put something on the negative column, maybe it would be the unrealistic ability of the characters to accept and forgive others. Their almost saint like in that department.

Interesting urban fantasy story

I have to admit that I have a fairly low expectation for this drama. The story line sounds interesting but I have serious doubt that they can pull it off. I was partial correct but I'm also happy that I enjoyed this show more than I expected. First of all, the whole boy raised by wolves thing is a joke. You really have to suspend all your disbelieve and just run with it. Take it as a fairy tale and you will do ok. In that sense, the ML carried the first 1/3 of the show. His looks, innocence and chemistry with the FL made the watch more than watchable and quite cute and entertaining. The middle 1/3 is where the show lost its way. The plot holes are big and the villain is over used and he is not evil enough to carry the show. He is more meddling than pure evil (leave it to k-dramas for that!) but the effort of his dirty work was over amplified. The plot just meander around for several long episodes just so that we can feel the angst (not) and wait for the story to get back on track. Thank the drama gods for the last third of the show as it saved the drama. Bits of it were cheesy but at least they gave the drama time to explore and bring all the threads to a satisfactory conclusion rather than the rushed happy ending for everyone in the last 15 mins of a 30+ hours show. A nice surprise is the villain did get a chance for true redemption rather than just being written out or worse, let off the hook. There are a fair bit of skinship and it was largely done well and with feelings. You have to give it to Amber An for not shying away from intimate scenes. She is a good actor but I feels that she is getting type casted into this type of rom-com roles over the years.
