Similar premise from the same writer- a poor woman goes into a very rich family’s household to work.

Makjang drama, cheating hijinks and complicated family dynamics will feature in both. There’s also a mystery / crime whodunnit as the overarching plot.

Both stories unravel after a murder has occurred, already pointing fingers to obvious characters, the characters tell the story about how they met the women who were murdered at the beginning, both have similar plots such as an affair due to their child’s learning and different assumptions of who the killer is, the suspense leaves you craving to know more

both have a dark type of vibe, the characters are somewhat similar in "status", another "ahjumma" type of story, a somewhat "daily lives of smart elegant manipulative rich women"..

Though the story are quite different it really sends off similar vibes and brings up similar topics : women empowerement, sweet & classy revenge, women's friendships, women's social issues (in work...). ASC seems to be slightly better executed, tho ~

Makjangs are a hit or miss. They can be unbelievable crazy or elegant crazy. And these two are the later
They're dramatic and extreme but it's no penthouse and it's not boring
There are characters to root for, mainly fl and her sweet sls vibed partner in crime.

Though the tone and atmosphere of these drama are different, they both deal with the lives of a group of middle-aged friends.

Lady In Dignity is more about a set of female friends from Gangnam while Graceful Friends is about a set of friends who have known each other since college.

Both the dramas revolve around a murder case where all the characters are suspects & have a motive.

there's a type of drama that's like "mature" grownup female leads? and these 2 fit that mood really well

great dramas need to be connected together even if they don't share much in common. both of these dramas are high quality masterpieces. and both have interesting and strong women

there are dramas that have a "cold" tone to it. they are relaxing and somewhat as realistic as dramas can get?

Both dramas have the same FL lead. Both dramas involve rich people, cheating spouses and strong women.

talk about woman power~ both are female driven stories with multi layer female characters. recommendations don't really need to have similar plot, but they are both awesome ;p

these 2 dramas also have that "cold blue" dark tones. one is female centered and one is fully male centered, but both are character driven stories

both have real strong independent women leads. though I'd like to give Nam Jung Gi more credit, he is kinda like Woo Ah Jin's husband? they are both naive and pushovers? it's not a bad thing though, for MTANJG ;p

Kim Soon Jung had that strong confident in her work kind of vibes, which is kinda similar to Woo Ah Jin.
