Yan Xun's mother returns to the capital to speak with the emperor but he will not see her. Wen Yue tries to save Yan Xun's pregnant older sister but he's too late. For Yan Xun's trial, he's summoned by the emperor and ordered to stand as execution assistant with Wen Huai. A'Chu learns more about Yan Xun in prison and they form a closer bond. Yuan Chun begs the emperor to spare Yan Xun and meet with his mother and A'Chu forces Yan Xun to take her with him to his trial. (Source: frankly at MyDramaList)
