This was a story of nostalgia for older viewers, If you have finished high school and gone on to college and beyond you can reflect about all of the missed moments, friendships, hardships, missteps and challenges. Life's lessons as a young inexperienced person dealing withe the reality of a cruel older world of greed and thoughtlessness. The writer/director started out with this amazing story - almost like sweet ice cream - each read more episode had a moment or moments of life's reflections - almost wanted to re-watch with a diary to write down these life's lessons. However, in the end they fail to keep the sweetness of the drama - it melts onto the ground near the end and you feel sorry you bought the ice cream, Disappointment was all I felt in the last 6 episodes -- but the initial 40 have redeemable value for anyone to watch. I always wonder whether anyone watches these things before they show them to the public -- You have two main characters then what is the purpose of making them just shadows in the story line near the conclusion. Felt ripped off after so much time invested and the anxiousness of running each day to make sure I saw the two episodes released before I watched anything else.

I adore school setting dramas, and those that take the characters onward into young adult life.
The melo pacing of this drama is a consistent theme throughout but after the first 6 episodes you get used to it. Sadly the majority of the plot is mix of repeated sad and devastating occurrences for all the characters, no one escapes. And it really can make you frustrated when nothing good happens for your read more favourite characters. The ending was left open, and after 46 episodes it did not have a satisfying end for the main leads. The cast is strong, and with really good performances. But because there felt like a lack of closure not only for the leads but some side characters also, I could only hope there will be a drama special for it. But if not, I would not recommend this drama for romance fans.

Spoiler: these 2 dramas have a similar ending both ends but the girl having two choices but the ending never said about what kind of choices they made.

Both are school dramas which have several enjoyable side characters. The Leads portray their youthful characters very well in both, even if they are actually older actors cast to portray teens.. I guess that helps with time jumps for when they are young adults and no longer students. The story in FYTWFMB also follows the characters as young adults and the drama in their close circle of friends and frenemies. Both have vibe of friendships and relationships over time. Also romance.

Loved it so much it would've been way better without her friend qiqi she ruins everything n it should've only been like 30eps cause most eps isn't needed

I really loved it in the beginning, especially the atmosphere. I wanted to watch it until the end so badly but then after the calm and cute story it became an emo fest. It'd have been even okay if there were at least MOMENTS of relieving happy moments (even if it's just a minute in between the “emo fests”) so the viewer wouldn't feel the need to slit their wrists.

The drama where I loved the second pair too much and felt like lead OTP was dull and boring. Their relationship felt merely like a plot device. Nothing against the characters though like they were really okay in a sense and I liked friendship between characters( minus QiQi) and all actors were really good. First half was good with their school life and then second was like becoming little too mellow but Lu Zhi Ang and Yan Mo made things interesting and going for me.

does Zheng Shuang still have bamboo legs? In Love O2O (2016 drama) her thighs were skinnier than her arms. It was distracting.

I started this loving it but got to about episode 5 or 6 and dropped it because the main lead guy. I don't know if he changes but in my opinion, she's way too good for him. I really loved the second main lead guy though.

I am currently at ep 29 and though I kinda still enjoy it, I feel like half of every episode after their graduation is just flashbacks, filler and some sentimental talk.

I guess I will be one of those that didn't like it. I started loving this but most episodes were not needed they were fill with flashbacks ( and I mean in almost all the episodes after they graduate) nothing really happened. Both leads become the second leads because we got so much info on the other characters. No kisses! it was really a boring romance, all of them.
I don't like how they changed the ending from the novel.
I would of found it more interesting if she had married someone else but they opt to live a opening ending which I really dislike.

But that is the point of an open ending. You could see it like that but others no. example read the comments below or above most say they stayed together. That she forgave him.

Was this really good. I started ep1 and dropped it. It started to tug at the heart strings. Bc im in same boat as them next year. And their seems to be a lot of back and forth between main cast, based on ep1 of course. I think I will save this one until I graduate next year, bc if I watch now. I will re-watch it about 3 times over out of sadness.

The director did a good job there leaving an open end at the ending... Its like choose your own end of the summer... A realistic one or a forgiving one... But the forgiving one does seem realistic too.. She lived him after all.. Y not giving another chance.. But while you don't know the truth will you be able to trust again?! .... Its a happy ending guys... All in all for everyone... Congrts #LoveTillTheEndOfSummer watchers!! ✌✌
