Both are school dramas which have several enjoyable side characters. The Leads portray their youthful characters very well in both, even if they are actually older actors cast to portray teens.. I guess that helps with time jumps for when they are young adults and no longer students. The story in FYTWFMB also follows the characters as young adults and the drama in their close circle of friends and frenemies. Both have vibe of friendships and relationships over time. Also romance.

Both dramas follow the main characters from high school to adulthood. Both female leads have similar personalities: quiet, innocent, righteous, unreadable and the kind of people who do not chase after love but rather admire from afar. The male leads are more persistent although not as much as in other romantic dramas. In both cases it begins in a light and carefree way, but becomes heavier as the stories proceed. Both tell the story of an abiding but not necessarily fulfilled love. I feel like they are very similar on many levels, maybe this is already evident from the two titles that somewhat contemplate the fleet of time.

Same female lead, and same author.
And the whole air and setting.... It's pretty similar. Other than that, the major issues regarding the storyline are quite different.
Both follow the lives of multiple characters and couples, and also depict the workplace struggle.

Both dramas are school based dramas Love O2O is university based while Rush to the Dead Summer is high school based. The leading actress in both dramas is the same. The storylines give off a refreshing and youthful feel.

Both stories focus on the development of friendship in school into their adulthood. Throughout the drama, a development in characters can be seen. Friendships gained and lost as they grow up. Some light humor.

They both are high school love stories. Here Li Xia is like Ma Xiao Xiao topper and serious. The character of Lu Zhi Ang and Yi Dong Dong is also somewhere similar because both of them are funny and easy going.

—too many misunderstandings
—FL of TBWY is a SL in RTTDS
—not a very clear ending, more like open

The lead guy is aloof , charming, tall and quiet and he met with the love of his life at school in both series.

The girl starts having crush on him where as he is so popular in the highschool. They have a relationship and very much together even after getting into their worklife.

Both two dramas give autumn and summery calm vibes. They have shown highschool life and memories of ML and FL. How everything changes for them.

Problems occur afterwords and they part their ways even when they are in love. How both the series resemble eachother you will get to know after watching them <3 :)
