Kyung Jin, a police officer, on her day off is forced back on duty when she is caught chasing down a bag-snatcher. The "bag-snatcher" turns out to be Myung Woo, a passer-by who was trying to catch the actual criminal. With a twist of fate, the two are paired together after Myung Woo volunteers to be on patrol looking out for unruly students.
This is the second of the "My Sassy Girl read moreTrilogy" by Director/Screenwriter Kwak Jae-Young. The first is the 2001 film "My Sassy Girl". The third is the 2008 Japanese film "Cyborg She". They are unrelated except for having a sassy girl theme.

I watched this movie last night and I liked it. This story is more than just a romantic comedy. It's also sad. This movie is said to be like a prequel to the movie "My Sassy Girl." For those who have not seen this movie, I would recommend it (and to watch it first before watching this movie). Mostly because in the movie "My Sassy Girl" you don't know that much about read more "Miss Sassy Girl" (you never learn her name for one). But putting that aside - this movie is worth watching. It starts off light and fun but things take a turn towards the middle.

The acting was great, don't have any complaints about it. This was the first movie I've watched with Jang Hyuk in it, I had to laugh at some of his expressions in the beginning. His acting is good, though.

There was some music in this movie, but I'm not sure what they were. The only song that stuck out to me was the song "Stay" that they played in the first half of the movie. The other songs went along with the movie, though.

I think I might rewatch this movie again sometime, it was a good movie.

Overall - I think this movie is worth watching. Also, make sure to watch "My Sassy Girl" (: You'll find out why people see this as a prequel.

Windstruck will definitely leave you all struck all right. The story was great. I loved how it opened up with a narrator and how it ended with one. At first I thought the narrator was the main male lead, but the ending showed it was someone else (watch My Sassy Girl first, then you will know what i mean). My Sassy Girl and Windstruck are related movies... Windstruck is like a prequel read more to My Sassy Girl, but you should watch that before Windstruck or else you might not get the storyline and it will just confuse you. I love how they incorporated almost every genre into one movie, it had: romance, comedy, drama/melodrama a bit of action as well.. what more can you ask for right?

The cast's were amazing, I love Jun Ji Hyun, she is such an amazing actress. She portrayed her character sooo well. Really loved her character as a strong sassy police woman. Also Jang Hyuk was awesome too, I really liked his character, he was soo funny xD And like an all rounder of a main character, it seemed like he was good at ALMOST everything! The other cast members were good too.

I liked the music, it was nice and simple. Also one of the OST's was beautiful because it had a piano (and I love the piano). It didn't have too many songs just 2 but that was more than enough for this movie. It didn't need too many songs.

Rewatch value - 10/10. I gave it a high rewatch value because I think I can watch this movie over and over again and not get tired of it because this movie has sooo many different aspect that it will just draw you back in and make you watch it again. Some of the scenes were filmed soooo beautifully and I love how they included the wind (hence the title Windstruck). It was really beautifully portrayed, so for that I would definitely watch it again.

Over all - 10/10. I have nothing more to say about this movie, it had everything a good movie has. All you have to do now is watch it.
P.S. do keep a tissue box with you because some scenes might make you cry (I know I cried a lot). But don't worry about the ending, you will definitely love it.

Couldn't watch it, I felt sick during the scene after the gang shooting and the camera was circling them I got light headed and nausea that's why I had to stop playing video games.
So i had to drop it.

The plot, action, chemistry, acting were a 10 until the last 15 minutes, train wreck, melodramatic ending. Seemed like the movie ended too short and they had to keep adding more silly scenes. Overkill!

This is NOT a sequel to My Sassy Girl, if anything, it would be a prequel, which it still isn't.

I watched this for Jang Hyuk after discovering him in FTLY but this movie's plot was awful. I still adore Gunnie though.

You just took the word out of my mouth. It was nice to see Jang Hyuk circa 2004 but I don't think this movie should've been made, seeing as how it detracts from MSG.

I completely agree. I really enjoyed MSG and this one was ok but when you connect the two this one stand zero chance.

This is NOT a sequel or a prequel to "My Sassy Girl" ! .... .... BUT...

--->>> it is the 2nd of the " Sassy Girl TRILOGY " that the Director/Writer made !!!

so it also included Gianna Jun as the leading lady , and Cha Tae-Hyun makes a Cameo in this movie (besides being BFF w/ Jang Hyuk in RL) ... the 3rd is "Cyborg She" , a Japanese movie (same director/writer) ... and Jang Hyuk has a guest role in the Japanese drama "MSG"

      --->>> All 3 have a 'sassy girl' Theme .

It is not as good as MSG , but good none the less ....

I have but one question, why is I'm sorry or Please Forgive Me not in a woman's vocabulary? I mean really, of all the relationships I've been in, of which are only a few, not once did they ever say they were sorry, for anything. At the point of her FINALLY say it, I've only got, So Sad to say. I won't stop that though from giving this movie a low 10 though. A real shocker, through me for a real loop, yep, didn't see that one coming. Great story line and acting... :)

This was a comedy?! Really? Well, if the film is labeled as a comedy, it supposed to be funny till the last scene, but this... Don't know what is this. I laughed and cried. But, it was good, kind of, and little cheesy. Btw, JJH is the strength of this film. She's simply born to be an actress - gorgeous and so talented...
