Seldom does a short drama has the addictive and i-cant-wait-for-next-episode feel.
Also the poster is misleading. This drama is vibrant and so beautifully shot. The colors, backdrop and scenery and down to female lead's hanbok is vibrant. With just a touch of fantasy on the immortality issue but overall its quite slice of life of a musician, Joon Woo who is a little reclusive but opens up to the mysterious but smart mouthed lady, Mi Jo living downstairs.
Also the drama has awesome secondary leads in Yeon Ji and Jason. No bitchiness or suffocating love. They are so good that you wished their arc is a happy and fulfilling one too. The characters and story backdrop is sufficiently thick that it could easily be a longer drama and infact i kind of wished it was longer so that there would be more character development and progress of relationship which i felt i needed more after the credits rolled on the final episode.

The music was nice which was a given since its a YG production.i love the R&B track sang by the male lead titled You.

The acting was good and no noticeable cringeness. I find Kang Seung Yoon and Jang Ki Yong shine as their character of Joon Woo and Jason. The only minor blip was Mi jo's makeup and the vivid pores which was distracting and a little unexpected. Plus cant they give us an otp kiss?. Enjoyed the entirety while it lasted.

i love these high budget webdramas where producers really pay good money to make it successful.
This webdrama... is awesome, easy going, the storyline we out of logic but so much acceptasble. i was wondering whether the male lead one of WINNER boys would pull this off, but he actually did it.

It was watchable and rewatchable. it was so fresh and all had equal lines to say.
over all... it rewatchable and fun.
and u r never bored watching this,

First of all, this is a webdrama. Webdramas are not for everyone, they might feel rushed to a lot of people.
Story: This drama had everything that agood drama needs. It had really hilarious moments, and heartbreaking ones too. It had a sweet second lead, and an at first jerk first lead. It had its own little world, that you can step into everytime you push the play button.
But what made this drama special for me was not any of those. This drama has managed to have all that darkness that the poster conveys, eventhough the episodes were lighthearted and funny. The goofiness is what kept the story from becoming depressing even when it had such heart clenching parts. I believe that the last episode really gave the show a plus layer and I found the last twist quite amaizing. Those last bits of happiness and tragedy made the enjoyable, but medicore drama splendid.

Acting: There were really good and okay actors as well. Overall, the acting was good, and since the characters were well done and easy to relate to, the worse acting moments were not that noticable.

Music: The show has its own song, which t first I didn't really like but I gotta say it grew on me. Definately getting on my playlist.

So, all in all, I would recommend this to anyone who wants something short, but entertaining and light-hearted, but deep drama. And of course if you wanna see gorgeous hanboks, then watch it already.

This show has everything that I love about a Korean drama. It feels good. It’s cute. It’s romantic and heart-warming. It’s quirky. There is so much more showing than telling. The humour of this show is a little...in your face but for some reason it just tickled my funny bone in the right way. The story moves along well. For a three hour watch, I think it has good pacing.
The show makes fun of Mijo’s immortality, her age and the fact that she doesn’t really feel pain.

Mijo
Our heroine enjoys old lady hobbies.
She works as a love consultant and she’s good at what she does. She understands men and she likes to pull historical anecdotes from the centuries she’s lived through.
I wouldn’t say she’s mature, but she does have a noona feel to her. She has a way of being confrontational and comfortable with it that I liked.
She keeps lots of ancient treasures with her that all have a story.
Her unpredictable nature is a highlight of the show.

Jun Nu
Jun Nu is a standard kind of guy but the way he responds to Mijo is really lovely.

Jason
This is the second time I’ve seen this dude play opposite Kang Seung Yoon. I enjoyed the twist in Jason’s character.

Looking for a high budget web drama with a more creative plot? This pick is for you!
Set aside the thoughts of how a thousand year old immortal person being romantically involved with a 20-30 year old rapper/singer, Goblin seem to have similar vibes on this one. I honestly enjoyed this web drama and finished it! By the way, dramas are hard for me to finish in the first place as they tend to drag, or major plot changes, or not enough plot changes, etc. etc. And I finished this one?

As soon as this was uploaded on YG Entertainment's Youtube Channel with English Subs, I started watching episode after episode. This web drama is longer than Seven First Kisses. It runs 15-23 minutes per episode for 10 episodes.

Story:

The poster is very deceiving and it seems too dark for the drama itself. Otherwise, it has an intriguing story line with fantasy elements and back and forth historical time periods and present time periods. The plot was smoothly drawn out and it had a couple of plot holes where I thought this could of been explained if the web drama was extended. However, it is easy-to-follow and draws viewer's attention until the very end. But, hey, lots of people's favourites were Jason. You will find out why. It touches immorality and have more of a romantic/slice of life story between a love counselor and struggling musicians.

Acting/Cast:

In web dramas, I normally am unsure if the actors will be as good as an actor in a full-length drama series. Surprisingly, I was wrong. The actors did an amazing job in this drama and no cringing scenes where you want to skip, in my opinion. Also, you have a mix of the YG's WINNER boyband idols and actors and actresses. I was waiting to see how this will play out. WINNER's actors did outstanding job in their roles with high amounts of believably.

Music:

This is a given as I heard lots of YG's songs throughout including Hit Me by MOBB. I loved the ending song called 'You'. It suited the web drama very well.

Re-watch Value:

This is more of a personal opinion. I tend not to re-watch dramas no matter how good they tend to be. As to why I gave it a low score, I won't be re-watching this web drama despite it being short and sweet.

Overall:

It is a watchable web drama. I find this web drama on a more higher quality scale compared to others. I highly recommend it!

First of all, that poster does not represent the drama in any way. I put off watching this because I wanted something lighthearted, and Love for a Thousand More was just what I needed. So basically, ignore the poster (though it looks nice).
I'll begin with the story. It was interesting, and I really liked the whole immortal thing combined with comedy and lightheartedness, and the characters were great. But I feel that it lacked some substance towards the end which kind of made the ending seem a bit rushed and off balance, but it's understandable since it is a short drama. Excluding that, the plot was nice and I really like the little segments after the credits. By the way, be sure to watch those parts.
The acting is where the drama goes a bit downhill (according to me). It wasn't the greatest acting, but it wasn't bad either and I managed to watch the show without cringing at the acting so don't leave this show aside just because I said the acting wasn't that great.
Character-wise the drama was great, especially when it comes to Mi Jo. I found her so refreshing and her outfits were just beautiful, and they suited her perfectly. She maintained her character till the very end which was awesome and the actress did a lovely job. The other characters were nice, especially Jason. He was just amazing and such a wonderful character, even though he wasn't the main focus.
Overall, I think you should give this drama a go just as a break from other intense and long dramas. Though there are some things which could be improved, I enjoyed Love for a Thousand More, and I hope you do too if you are willing to give it a try. So, do enjoy :)

I watched this drama at one sitting. I don't really into romance but this drama is an exception. The story is what I expect from webdrama. It's not confusing nor heavy, but enough to get me excited.

It is not an unusual story line. Concept of love between human and demi-human can be found on many fantasy drama. What makes me keep watching is the interaction between casts and the camera work that captured all frames beautifully. I love to see Mijo's house.

The story moved in fast pace, there is no useless staring contest between leads. There were epilogue and-or prologue about Mijo's club, I would love it if they can make drama about each club members. They shared interesting stories too.

I still wait for Season 2, they closed the ending pretty nice but still spare a room for another season. So, yeah.

Short, Sweet, But Not Simple

For a show so short and sweet, it packs a punch. I loved how the narrow focus really allowed the viewer to hone in on the main messages: Living in the moment, finding happiness in the everyday, letting today's warmth carry you through tomorrow's troubles, and appreciating one well-crafted song for the OST.

It managed to thread the eye of the needle for me in the humor department. I can't stand anything that goes too cringe or slapstick. This was funny in a quirky, endearing way, which I wish I was able to find more of in K-Dramas.

Visually stunning--very vibrant with an aesthetic equal parts earthy, whimsical, and cute hip-hop. I adored the FL's modernized hanboks--traditional with a twist and stunning, they sometimes gave off a 50s vibe I was all there for.

CW: indifferent therapist (though there is some form of marginal justice for him at the end); death of minor character due to health reasons (not violence)

My main critiques/concerns include SPOILERS:

1. It was implied at first that the male bandmate was gay or bi, but they weren't totally clear on that and might have walked it back in later episodes. I crave positive LGBTQ representation! My head canon is that he is bi and you will not convince me otherwise.

2. The ending.
2a. It was very much set up as a HFN, and I don't think they satisfactorily addressed the FL's valid concerns for wanting to avoid relationships at that point in her life. This watch-through I was able to suspend disbelief enough to get the warm, fuzzy glow, but I can definitely see that ending landing a lot more on the bitter side of bitter-sweet if I were in different moods.
2b. The reveal in the last couple minutes! Such a cliffhanger! Again, it's something that could majorly effect the overall tone of the story based on your mood and how you interpret it. It makes me crave a second season, something I rarely want for K-Dramas!

This is a wonderful web drama! The cast is great and the storyline was also. I would love to see a season 2 and more on the past of the lead actress's character's  past to see how and why  she come to be immortal and the second lead actor's character's past, although he kinda bugged me with his way of flirting. I also would like to know how long she had her pet turtle. The music and songs were fantastic! I will watch it again for sure!!  Watch it and I promise you won't regret it!

Since Splash splash love and Page turner, I have watched many short dramas so I found this drama. At first three episodes, this drama is quite interesting, but the story went down because of not only its content but also the main male character's acting. He is very stiff and his face has no emotion. This is very huge problem.

The only interesting thing is that the main female character has long history of love. And the name of the drama is love for a thousand more. Maybe it is about the main female character or the man called Jason. I wish Jason can be main lead. He is mystery character that we would know his secret in the end.?

Music is quite good.

Short, Sweet, Cute and Refreshing!

I for one enjoy short dramas. I can understand why some people don't like them because they don't have time to fully flesh out stories and characters. If you can overlook that then they can be rather enjoyable and sometimes you can find an extremely rare gem amongst them. This is one of those gems.

As with most short dramas, there is a lot of loopholes left open, as well as a lot of unanswered questions. However, this drama is very cute and sweet. It kept me entertained and interested in the characters and their romance. The story is pretty predictable though and has cliches but it's not oversaturated to the point of annoyance. The characters are realistic and refreshing.

The acting is great for a short drama (which isn't always the case).

If you want a drama that's not super long and enjoyable and refreshing to watch then I recommend this one.
I wish there was a season 2 though.
