What trash.

I briefly considered giving this a 10 (like another review for this drama) simply because I just could not believe that the writer would, with their hand over their heart, believe this steaming pile of dog shit masquerading as a script could actually be halfway-decent enough to be shown to the world. But that would mean the rating for this drama would increase, which would be false advertising. So hence, here is my very honest and slightly disgruntled review (after all, I wasted a good day watching all 10 episodes. A day I will never get back.)

This show is low budget, but that's okay. Low budget shows can also be great (read: Go Princess Go) or at the very least, watchable (read: Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me). Here, on the other hand, it was like the producers didn't even have enough to hire actors. Hell, my aunt who stays at home and reads to her 12 cats can probably act better. For example, when the male lead was talking about his 'Paranoid Personality Disorder' (does this even exist?), he put on this facial expression that really, really wanted to be tortured, but sort of fell in the ballpark of constipated. I think that if the producers spent less on all the fancy sets and locations, they could've afforded some decent actors, but hey, who cares about actors anyway.

I still can't believe this story is what it is. It gives me hope that if crap like THIS can get produced, then anything I end up writing will have the producers queuing in front of my house.

It starts off with our bug-eyed, small faced heroine (whose face kinda creeped me out with its very apparent plasticky-ness) being kidnapped and tied to a chair with a cheap-looking alien brain-sucking device on her head- or so you'd think (muwahaha the budget strikes again!) Its actually a lie detector. We see a bunch of science-y looking scientists (because lab coats, duh) ask her where she hid the baby. Female lead gets confused and vehemently denies ever being pregnant. Lie detector says she's lying, and the scientists keep asking her where she hid the baby. The heroine faints. Fast forward a bit, and we see our hero, looking all serious and hero-like while having a face that is 3 shades lighter than his neck (good make up artists cost money). Now, even HE asks her about the baby- his baby, apparently- and absolutely refuses to accept that they never had sex in the first place, because according to him, they both were drunk at a party she was waitressing at when they had it. While a normal person would accept that an ordinary woman would know if she ever pushed out a baby, this guy was somehow convinced that our female lead birthed a human without her knowledge.

Once this idiocy got over, the male lead had no reason to keep her at his mansion, but ya' know, he still did because he is 'ohmagerd obsezzed!!!' The female lead eventually stayed because Stockholm Syndrome.

Okay, I'll stop there. Not only because I was getting more and more annoyed as I typed, but the review was also suffering (if it hasn't already suffered enough.)

Tl;dr- The actors can't act, the writer can't write, the directors can't direct and the producers can't produce.

It isn't for everyone.

If you enjoy Thai Lakorns (I love them), then please do watch this drama. While it might not be the best if you enjoy proper slap/kiss lakorns then this will fit the bill (except of course it's in Chinese).  The drama was an absolute riot, from the crazy obssessed male lead to the innocent door mat of a heroine, to the crazy diabolical evil rival lady, let's not forget the dissaproving and equally diabolical mother (of the male lead). These are the ingredients for  thai lakorn people! You either love it or you don't, no one can make you understand why it's so good. It's not an acquired taste, the love for this type of drama is ingrained in my blood. Your pile of poop is my bounty!

I loved this drama. It's a complete hot mess from the very first frame and continues without any hope of getting better.
And this is what makes it awesome.
Main lead dude is cray-z for no reason and then chooses to be crazy because he knows his love is crazy.
Lead doormat, well, maybe you can find why these dudes were nearly killing themselves and each other over her, because I didn't see it.
Has a second lead that you root for, then you just want him to die.
Why does anyone still listen to a second lead female after the betrayal train.

For Point of Reference.
The writer must've studied Thai Lakorns and forgot to add a wack gun fight or the wedding that hell built,...oh wait...Just kidding, maybe.

I would watch this again and again.

Well what should I start with ..... ?

First , this drama look like it was written by a Highschooler !! the story is all over the place jumping from one situation after another and am not sure what they were heading to , and the timeline isn't clear ! and the plot twist at the end like seriously !!!!!!!!!!!! and am not sure if there's a 2nd season & I don't think I'll watch it !!!!

***** The story it has gotten totally ridiculous , it just seems to be repeating certain situations and her interaction with the one that suppose to be close to her just comes across as foolish .

Second , the acting was sooo bad specially the Male lead , the only character that I liked was the male lead Butler !
And the Female lead character was so frustrating & clingy , if there's someone who doesn't want any relationship with me I'll leave them even if they were really close to me I wont make my self look petty or show that I need them like whatever .

3rd , the editing is so horrible & the scenes jump all over ><

Last , I do not know how I finished this & what made me continue till the end !

An advice for those who are willing to give this a go: don't take this drama seriously.

Why? Because it's a trainwreck with a capital T. It's like the writer's wanted to shove any and every cliché into the plot line, creating absurd situations and even more absurd outcomes. A comment I read on the site I was watching this pretty much summed everything up: "It's like a Wattpad story turned into a chinese drama."

Not badmouthing Wattpad stories, some are even well written and all, but what I'm talking about here is the nasty side of those stories: an Alpha male lead who's obscenily rich, kidnaps a doormart and falls for her. Actually, "falls for her" is to say the least, because he has an obsession with her for apparently no reason other than keep the plot moving. Add an obnoxious second male lead(who had amnesia no less) and an even more obnoxious pair of love rivals, evil step mother, lots of misunderstandings  and even a baby, mix everything and you have this drama.

Also, the title actually IS right: the president is a psycho. He not only tries to control the female lead, but also scars forever at least two other girls. And let's not enter the part of some other shitty  things he does...

But...if I'm badmouthing it so much, why is my rating considerably high? A 5 is halfway to a 10, and given the quality of the drama it had to at maximum be a 2,5!
Well, I have to admit that despite it's ridiculousness, a plot and characters all over the place, this show is actually quite entertaining to watch. I found myself laughing at how absurd/stupid everything was, so in the end I lasted to the last episode(skipping a lot, but still managed).

I have to admit that despite it's massive flaws it can be pretty attention grabbing, and you will find yourself wanting to know what absurdity will happen next. So yeah, if I could use a quote to describe this show, it would be "So bad it's good"

Idk why this is getting so many bad reviews. This story is all over the place but, the story and acting is really good that it doesn't even matter. Like its really interesting. I haven't seen a drama like this. It's like crazy love . Actually one of a kind cuz you would think the people would act differently. But they did beat my expectations. Plus the actors and actresses are really pretty . I really wanted to be the actress and in her situation. You should really watch this and be amazed. Take my word in this.

This is what happens when a fan-fic becomes a drama or whatever ball of crazy-go-nuts this turned out to be. Honestly I cannot blame the actors the writing was just too insane to follow unless you were medicated. Watch if your bored or feel like watching a drama where you go "WTflip" did I just sit thru lol watch at your own risk of insanity.

The music was not really worth mentioning I do think the two leads in this have much potential once they move on to work on other projects this story line just really let them down is all.

The clothes were nice but thats probably the best I can say over all about this drama which is sad really.

would i recommend?

Just like the other reviews they are right, this story is all over the place , was good at sometimes then all of a sudden you don't know whats happening , the fact that i had to search recaps of almost some of the episode because i was confused about the story just shows you what kind of roller coaster this drama is .

It seemed like they shoved 40 episode worth of stories/dramas in 10 episodes . Like the title says "psycho " is very true , at some times the things he did seemed so sweet and an awe moment , but them sometimes your like if someone ever did something like that to me i would never interact with them every again . The FL is stupid , i would say she had great acting in some parts of the drama but then sometimes your like " do you actually think like that" .You get confused cause they mix up many scenes together , first you see her at the beach running away from him , then you see her in the middle of a hotel hallway , like how did she get there , you see her wearing a red coat then in 5 secs she is wearing a blue coat in 5 secs with the red coat nowhere to be found .

Never liked the sister or Mona from the start , never like the the ML's mom either . if they betray you once why would you go back for some more , shows how dumb the FL and ML are in the story.Would i watch again probably not . I would recommenced way more dramas before i would ever tell you to watch this . It makes you want to finish it just so you can know what else would happen , you get so confused that when you skip one second you already missed a whole scene , then you have to go back . I watched this cause i thought it was that cute possessiveness , noo it's not that it's that " if i can't have you no one can" it's that" oh he's dead i have to go with him too ,

It would seem offensive to people that have been in emotional abuse , mental abuse , physical abuse , but if your ok with watching this then go ahead but if your not ready for that i wouldn't recommended . I watched this cause i was curious of what everyone was saying in the reviews so if your like me i would watch it to see how you like it . but i would never watch this again just to be clear. It's the bad acting for me , that all i have to say , reminds me of 365 DNI , kinda looks like him act's like him too , except he's forcing her to give him their child and 365 he's forcing her to love him .

if you're planning to watch it you're in for a roller coaster of emotions.

the male lead is really possessive and protective of the female lead they
are rather cute but as the title says he's pretty psycho but he gets his shit together as the drama progresses.

this drama is not for everyone as the male may come across as abusive in some parts however its quite
obvious he likes the female very much .                                                                                                      fd

So, if you're like me you've read all the other reviews. They're all right. The three stars and the ten stars. BOTH are present in the drama & it just depends on who you are and how the drama hits you.

So I agree with the reviewer who said it was trash. I’ m not gonna give it 3.5 stars, but I can see their perspective. This show was full of trash. But let me be specific: it is like trash punch at a frat party. REALLY enjoyable because of its sickly sweetness and instant-drunk-state-with-lack-of-inhibitions but your stomach hurts afterward and you may regret consuming it. This show stole so many different drama plot tropes and devices it wasn’t even funny. Psycho, indeed.

This story had amnesia, secret identities, car accidents, mental breakdowns, kidnapping, jealous outbursts, petty disagreements, and strong character tension all mixed with dark fairy tale aspects such as being locked in a tower, having your baby stolen from you at its birth and tied by ropes on a bed by your beloved. Well, they did give you a hint the show was a bit off kilter in the title. Everyone’s a little mad around here! I was surprised by how well the violence wove through the story, making the characters all these needy, obssessive messes in the process. Something that tickles my gothic teenage girl fancy, I guess. It had that historical romance of yesteryear feel to it, too. The ML was laser-focused, overbearing, possessive, anti-social and (at times) physically violent with the FL. Gotta admit, once their chemistry kicked in and physical desire replaced the violence in his aggressiveness, oooo….well…a-hem… Just…it was surprisingly well done. Again, the abuse fit the story but it was excruciating waiting and squirming through the early scenes where he manhandles her a bit more than I liked. (It was a little TOO on the pleasure/pain edge for me at one point, so I get the Thai lakorn reference, too.) This battered beauty turns to him-as-the-beast for shelter from the world, anticipating protection edged with control and finds a tortured prince who only wants to love her. Awww… I mean, really. She's not a super likable character. Neither is he. Still! I couldn't look away and had to finish this. But what an awful mess they have in store for them. And what a mixed-up, crazy unhinged little ride you’ve got in store for you. ;)

Even the editing style feels fragmented with lots of short cuts over extended periods of time, with the music choices and fast-paced events. Knowing that almost every character has some kind of mental problem/issue also keeps you on edge with what may occur next. It’s 10 episodes and they FLY.

Enjoy the crazy ride.

This drama is a waste of everything!

Okay lets start with how messy they carry on the plot to the point that the story makes no point at all. Its a real mess, scenes jump from this to this, you'll be the one ending up as the psychopath trying to process everything thats happening! Its annoying!

The actors are bad! They act like high schoolers for goodness sake!

The scenes are messy, the acting is messy, what more do you expect with this drama but headache and a time wasted.

Nothing is really good on this drama, I swear, Im saving you time by recommending not to watch it :)

I have been wanting to watch this since I heard about it despite many negative review, but I struggled to find it for a long time and forgot about it for awhile. I can across it again and sill wanted to see for myself. There's something about a damaged male lead that can attract me to a drama despite many very poor reviews about it XD.
It wasn't a great drama by any means. There are many dramas that I would recommend before this one. However I still liked it. I still enjoyed it. It is very sort and the story sometimes doesn't make sense, but I knew well enough before I started watching it that it wouldn't, so I adjusted my expectations. However, I don't think it as as bad as I taught it was gong to be, there are definitely worse.
Is this a portrayal of a very toxic relationship,in the context of the real world: absolutely. However in the context of a fictional drama I think it is fine to step over the line a bit sometimes, because and I can tell the difference between an extremely dramatic and fiction story that is a show, such as this one, and real life. And, like, I have seen worse in other dramas???? And I have heard about even worse than I have seen.
Story wise, I think there is a lot that needs to be taken with a grain of salt. There were times that the pacing of the show felt off, but it was 10 episodes and most Chinese shows seem to be at an average of 45-50 give or take. Ina traditional Chinese show, that is 50 episodes, there is a bunch of conflicts and resolutions, instead of just one big one like many shorter shows (like Korean dramas) do for, the most part. But this show felt like a 50 ep show squished into a 10 ep show so it felt rushed sometimes. I feel like the show wold have benefited from removing a few o the conflicts and just sticking with one or two. By keeping them all, the episodes felt a little disconnected. I felt like one of those forum games where people comment the next sentence of a story, but the people didn't read the parts written before their part XD does that make sense?? lol.

Anyways, I enjoyed the drama, although it is not necessarily good. I think that i just really like damaged male leads and my that like for them may be clouding my better judgement, lol ?_?
