To do a quick two line summary for those that won't read the entire review (I know you're out there), this is a quick and easy cutsie drama. The acting is really pretty good, the music was good, and the story was ok. It's an easy feel-good movie that, as long as you aren't looking for a deep emotional or philosophical movie, you'll like.

Now, on to the details! First, I must read more admit I enjoy my "candy" dramas almost as much as my deeper ones so it was no surprise that I liked this one. The premise is good but an often used one, though I still don't see why they think just because a girl gets a hair cut and wears boy clothes, she's a boy. The flow of the drama works from episode to episode, and really not many are what I would consider slow. There are a couple that could have had more umph to them, but overall you didn't suffer any major stops and starts to the main plot or much in the way of confusion. The ending, not bad but definitely not my favorite. They tried to tie all the loose ends together way too quickly and not give you enough time to enjoy the last episode. It felt very rushed and amateurish.

As a quick side note, for those that love flower boy dramas, there is a fair share for you here! And for those Lee Hun Woo fans, LOVE love love his character, hair, everything. He does a great job here :)

There is a rewatch value as it's a typical feel good drama (though I'd rather watch Lee Min Ho or Lee Seung Gi, LOL)and does make you smile and laugh.

Since I had seen Hana Kimi (as a J-drama) 6 years ago, I sort of knew what the story was about and I was very curious to see how a Korean version would be.

I was very pleasantly surprised! Not only did it feel like I was watching a new story, it was very up to date. With that I mean it felt realistic and fun to watch. (Even though Sulli is read more obviously a beautiful girl and not a boy). The characters really grow on you and I really liked how the side-stories were told.

Sometimes it did feel like a Samsung commercial but whatevs, it didn't distract me too much from the story.

I really recommend watching this if you are a fan of romantic dramas like Heartstrings, Boys Over Flowers and You're Beautiful.

And it has Minho in it. ASDFGHJKL *u*

High School themed dramas with eye-candy boys and ONE LUCKY girl. I found these two dramas alike because the characters seem also the same. Seo Kang Jun is Kang Tae Joon (Choi Minho) alike, Gong Myung is DEFINITLEY one with Cha Eun Gyeol (Lee Hyun Woo), Typhoon (Kang Tae Ho) - Ha Seung Ri, Yoo Il and Kwanghee's character (Song Jong Min) are also very much alike and also, Kim So Eun and Goo Jae Hee (Sulli). And also, the love triangle is almost the same.

In both dramas you can find the female lead and the male lead living together and fall for each other. And also, in both dramas the female lead chase the male lead.

I came here because I saw Hana Kimi the Japanese and Taiwanese version already, so I thought I was not going to watch other versions of it, but when I found out Min Ho was acting in the Korean Version, I knew I had to watch it even if the ending was what I might expect. I must say, I Love it so much! The fact that I did not want it to even end and I was also so curious to know the ending, omg it's worth watching! I totally fell in love with Tae Joon and Eun Gyeon character

I'm glad I watched it because Min Ho smile is just too irresistible and Hyun Woo beautiful words of comparison as well as his feelings lured my heart :D

This is a must watch! It's so heartwarming and it would make you scream and laugh like a crazy person dx Haha!

I'm watching this because of my Minho bias and though I don't hate it I don't love it either. Sulli is very unbelievable as a boy to me and Idk why they didn't cast Amber from FX instead. Amber could pass as a boy but I also find her to be very cute tho that may just be my!!!

I'm a huge fan of hana kimi, I will say at first I didn't like this drama but I still watched it all. Well I decided to rewatch it and even though it didn't exactly follow the storyline or include more info about the dorm leaders - I begun to enjoy and appreciate it more. Especially with Minho playing the main role and you start to see that the character begins changing as the episodes go on and I'll have to say it's going to be a favorite of mine now.

Now I've read the manga....sorry to say it but I don't think this has much to do with it :( And I've also watched the J version which is much better in my opinion, much more funny... maybe this k version has more romance in it, but anyway I don't think the two leads have much chemistry...

Watching this drama. Now at 11th episode. I really hope this doesn't have "After XX years" type ending. I really hate those.

I have only watched one episode but my impression is that this is barely an adaption of the original Japanese drama but a drama that is loosely based on the Japanese one that has some basic similar plot points. The atmosphere and feel of the drama is way different; this one comes off as kind of dark while the Japanese version was very light-hearted and slapstick. In my opinion, other than the basic plot they are two completely different dramas. But I would have to say that this one really didn't leave me amazed, but it isn't terrible enough for me to drop...yet.

i am on episode 12 and struggling contemplating dropping this for at this point i can predict the outcome but they are still 4 more episodes to sit through (BIG YAWN). Should have tried to condense it in no more than 10 episodes, 12 max for already so many clinched parts have been played out and i can ignore so much
