I'm gonna make this simple and sweet because frankly I am a pretty lazy writer.
As a viewer of 'Individualist, Ms. Ji Young,' I can say I was able to connect to it's likeness in portraying mental illness on a personal level. I found myself hearing the female lead spout words I have said before myself. I have struggled with mental illness my whole life, and although it is not directly mentioned read more in this show it is is blatantly there in it's rawest form. The need of being in a relationship with someone...or the complete opposite... The need to protect yourself by pushing everyone away...Wanting a relationship but having the fight or flight response kicking in the moment you feel you could be hurt. Flight always being the end result because it seems easier compared to being hurt. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Watching this series was extremely personal for me and I feel that it was done beautifully. I am not sure how the experience of watching will be for those who do not understand or have a mental illness... but I can be sure that anybody who can even relate a little bit will definitely love this show. Hopefully this lazy and short review might help one of you out there. If you decide to watch, I really hope you enjoy!

This two episode drama was really short and sweet. I loved both episodes and I'm not even being biased here. One thing I liked in this drama was their OST (if not, then their background music). It was really good, it really stirred up my feelings. The acting and chemistry between Gong Myung and Min Hyo Rin was unexpected. They looked so cute together. Even the story itself was unique, and I'm read more pretty sure some people could relate to this.

Overall, I rated this as 9/10. I just loved it, srsly.

Both stories have felines play pivotal roles in the main leads progression.

The female lead has a similarly cold and distant personality before meeting the male lead, who helps her open up and overcome her fears in relationships.

I am searching for the right words to convey my feelings for this drama. Let's start by saying that I didn't expect much from it. It's a 2 hour special, what depth could there be in such a short time? Boy, was I wrong. In drama land you will rarely find such realism and raw emotions where you can see yourself and your surroundings in every aspect of their lives. There just isn't a single person (I am not calling them characters, because the drama is so down-to-earth, so human, that it is hard to believe they are just playing roles) that seems exaggerated and even the depiction of family and relationships are written and acted out perfectly. I recommend it to everyone looking for something that is different than your average K-drama, something that makes you think and relate. Also, the main couple is just ridiculously adorable together.
    I simply love this! 9/10

I could give this an 11, or a 20. This is a must-watch. Please imagine that I wrote that in all caps, or said that in a really loud voice, or said that with my ugly crying face and a hideous smile. It was only last week that I shared my thoughts with someone here that Heart to Heart was a better "introvert" drama than Introverted Boss. Now this one surpassed them all.

I relate to our "individualist" in so many ways that it hurt to see those scenarios play out. But at the same time it was lovely to know that there are people out there who understand this kind of character enough to make a short drama about it and choose to not portray it as an unfavorable character or as an illness. She was flawed, of course, but the extroverted male character was also portrayed as flawed. I loved how the two learned to adjust towards each other but never lost themselves completely.

I have never cried and laughed so hard in two episodes.
I don't particulary fancy HyoRin's acting; I neither hate it, yet I fell in love with both, her and Gong Myung.
Lately it seems drama is becoming more and more repetitive and generic, for me to find such diamond among pebbles has been a great bless!

    ARGH!

I really recommend this special even though I don't like special dramas because it doesn't give you right feeling due the shortness but this one made it. This one second best special after splash splash love.
