I watched the anime version first, and was looking for a live action version that followed the same story line as the anime, but I found this. I wasn't really expecting much from it as I knew it was a very altered story line and for the first 20/30 minutes I wasn't very open minded about it. At the start the graphics were quite bad and I didn't see how it was read more at all related to the anime. But as the movie went on, I found myself completely engrossed in it, and I was very pleased to see that it did manage to fit in a connection with the anime - which I thought was actually quite clever too.

So I rated this movie so high because I really wasn't expecting to like it, but by the end I was bawling like a baby, and any film that can do that is a good one in my books.

This movie was absolutely amazing! I am really surprised why no one has reviewed this film yet. This movie had many different elements to it and also very good actors. It had many surprise twists and left me on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good movie with a surprising ending!

Both stories involve the element of time travel. They are both very moving and have similar themes.

Both involve time travelling, both show the story of a person who tries to change the past.

    I've seen this story before.
As for the plot, it is not even innovative, I would even say cliché, you do not have to go very far to find this kind of subject. On the other hand it is a medium movie, I thought cool, could have been better but the ending was very good.

I wonder the same thing too ^^
Then I guess may be he is the guy from Ryota's next door, but I'm not sure too because He was introduced as Kadoi but He does looks like Yuya (I recognize his lips XD). Or may be they put the wrong cast information there. #cmiiw ^^

It had some really boring moments which felt really unnecessary.
It would have been a really nice movie if it was shorter.. kinda felt like those unnecessary parts were to make the movie longer.

Just one really odd and very strange movie, to say the least, what was the point to her going back to the future to begin with? Seriously!!! I don't know how to rate this movie for how strange and odd that it truly was...

For those who didn't know, this is not the same plot as the Anime or original novel. It is a sequel to the movie made in the 1980s, and the character is the daughter of the original character.

This movie was great, it made me cry a bit haha.:)) At first I watched the Anime version and I didn't know that there was a live action of it. I also thought after watching the movie that the story was really different but when I realized and watched some scenes again (anime and live action), somehow it was connected. This is a must watch movie, especially those who watched the anime version. :)
