Idol Fever (2017)

So, I didn't see any reviews in English and I thought I'd write a review for those who needed one c;

Story:
The plot was the whole reason I decided to watch this web series, and I feel like it kinda let me down... The storyline in the synopsis got me hooked in, but when it came to the actually production, I think the execution was a bit messy. I mean, half the time I was saying to myself 'what's happening lol' and 'i'm so confused'.
Obviously, I did understand the premise but time skips, scenes etc. just really made me think like 'wHaT?'
Overall, I give the story a 5.5/10

Acting/casting:
I don't know why, but even when I didn't understand this series for shit, I kept going - because of the casting. I think all the actors did an amazing job and some characters really brought in some great comedic relief. The whole cast (I think) were perfectly suited for the roles and did as good of a job as they could - nothing more needs to be said.
Overall, I give the acting/casting 9/10

Music:
Sorry, I can't remember a single soundtrack from this series lol. I'm guessing it was ok seeing as I can't remember complaining about it before, but it's definitely nothing memorable

Re-watch value:
I won't be watching this drama again at all, because I feel like it's that kind of series where you'll watch it once, and be completely satisfied with just one viewing. However, I can see why some people may want to re-watch this web series for its silly humor and just to have a laugh.
Overall, I give the re-watch value 4.5/10

If you're looking for a dumb, quick watch this is the web series for you. However, as I mentioned, for me the execution was a lil messy and the plot a lil confusing - but you may have a different experience, so give it a go lol.

Uma bagunça! Infelizmente.

Eu esperava um pouquinho mais desse drama, sinceramente. A ideia me pareceu divertida quando li a sinopse, mas faltou alguma coisa. Foi legal ver tantos artistas da Fantagio num lugar só, a trilha sonora, a cameo do Moonbin e as meninas do Weki Meki. Mas o início da narrativa me deixou tão confusa que eu não consegui levar nada a sério, só terminei de assistir porque realmente não tinha mais nada pra fazer.

Tá, quem me trouxe até esse drama foi o Ji Gunwoo, que me cativou com o papel secundário dele em Sweet Revenge, e ele não chega a fazer um trabalho ruim em Idol Fever (é o primeiro drama dele, né), mas sei lá, o roteiro não ajudou nadinha.

Gunwoo (interpretado por Ji Gunwoo; Isso acontece muito nesse drama, só pra você ver a criatividade de alguém que quer exibir a empresa de "Idols Atores") é um trainee falido que perdeu a chance de debutar porque fez merda num survival (você vai rir da minha piada depois de assistir - ou não). Ele agora só quer ser uma pessoa normal e trabalhar, então vai pra esse acampamento para aprender a passar numa entrevista ??????. Dai aparece essa menina que acha que ele e os outros meninos do acampamento são idols e pede pra eles dançarem no evento da cidadezinha que eles estão. Quem acha que eles concordam e fingem ser idols levanta a mão!

Eu demorei pra entender que eles não eram mesmo idols ?????. Talvez tenha ficado bem claro desde o início e eu perdi alguma parte que enfatizava isso, mas as informações da história pareciam tão bagunçadas que eu não tenho certeza do que aconteceu. O final foi bem comum mesmo, superação e viveram felizes para sempre com suas carreiras do sonho mimimi. Ainda tem uma última tentativa de comédia desesperada que eu fiquei tipo "Oi? Pra que isso? Que desnecessário" que serviu provavelmente só pra exibir um artista que também deve ser da Fantagio, não sei.

Esse deve ser o primeiro drama que eu não recomendo, mesmo, é bem ruinzinho. Vale a pena só se você quiser ver o pessoal da Fantagio, mas nem é uma coisa tão memorável assim. Uma pena, mesmo...
