I liked the story but I was disappointed by the ending. I thought it was rly rushed at the end and could have used another epi or 2 to explain things a little better. It killed me how fast Yi Fei's pregnancy went but Mei Le's was not even visible the further along she was. I think Mike He did an excellent job expressing his characters feelings about his loss of independence when he was seen as such a strong person. I rly enjoyed how the music stopped right before a critical answer was given. It added a sense of importance to that answer. I rly enjoyed this drama & it will stick w/ me b/c it dealt w/ so many different issues. I may watch it again just b/c I love Mike He's acting skills. He is sooooo good at being arrogant & sexy at the same time.

I actually had a hard time watching this -____- There were times when I just wanted to give up on this drama. I couldn't stand some of the actors/actresses acting. Especially the person who was playing Mike He's older brother. I think he played his part sorta well (clueless, weak & can't stand up for himself), it's just when he's acting w/ other people, for ex. w/ his gf, then he looks stiff & awkward. I usually fast forward his scenes w/ his gf since they were pretty much predictable.

Other than that, I kept on watching since I'm a Mike He & Cyndi Wang fan. I love these two & they're so adorable together ^-^ But I don't think Mike He should sing XD As for the story, I enjoyed it. These are one of those stories that they pulled in the amnesia thing, which I don't really like since I've seen so many of these. But still enjoyable.

The impulse to watch 'Love Keeps Going' just because Mike He starred in it paid off quite well. I found this drama very different from a lot of other rom coms that I have been watching till now. I never expected to love a Taiwanese drama as much as I loved this one! I loved it for a variety of reasons and that is the reason for the good rating of 8. I have a lot to say about this drama so if you're okay with reading a long review, then go ahead.

Let's start off with the story. At first, it seems like another cliched nice girl-bad boy falling for each other story. To say briefly- this is the real story. Yet, so different and likable. This drama dared to used heavy cliches but twisted and turned them in such a way that it was hard to get bored. One aspect I loved was that both leads- Yi Lei and Mei Le were characters with real depth. Generally, the romantic comedies tend to have shallow characters and their behaviour is hard to contemplate. Here, the guy and girl are both damaged in their ways and they always give us the reason for their behaviour. And the excuse doesn't seem silly. It is actually believable.

The main girl seems too perfect and boring at the beginning of the show, but after she meets Yi Lei her flaws start showing. And on the first few encounters Yi Lei seems predictable and the typical bad boy who never changes. But eventually he starts softening up because of Mei Le. I think this is the first time in any drama that I have understood why a super rich, super handsome guy fell for an ordinary girl. Mei Le is really unique and a hard worker. She strives to do her best in every thing and gives it her all. Because of this, she also manages to win over Yi Lei. Both characters manage to break the image that they first created as the story progresses. Also, I love how they both bring out a different side of each other. When they are together I felt like they were an actual couple! The depiction was so realistic.

As for the secondary characters- Yi Feng is, and remains an idiot (till the end) who cheats on Mei Le and goes for an insufferable girl like Xuan Xuan. I actually empathized a bit with Xuan Xuan at the beginning but after that I wanted to yank off her stupid woolen hats. She was very annoying. Then there are the brother and sister of the main couple who very cute together. Again- the first time when the second love story was equally likable. There was also the mother of Yi Lei who was a completely nasty and horrendous. I hated her the most. The actress also overacted and her angry expressions were almost comical.

Now- the relationship between Yi Lei and Mei Le. Where do I start? I love, love, love their relationship together. Here, instead of the girl the guy falls for her first. He managed to completely win me over by the second or third episode. Mike He in the role was an added advantage because of his good looks. I won't say he is the best actor in the world and he definitely overacted at times- but he was so cute! Especially the actions of Yi Lei and what he felt for Mei Le was FANTASTIC. I also love how the story gives them time and the perfect opportunities for them to get to know each other before falling in love. I had some issues with Mei Le denying her feelings, but she confesses the reason for her behaviour too and I felt like it was forgivable. Cyndi Wang is an amazing actress because she managed to make a naive, clueless, pushover sort of a girl into some one who was easy to like. And this is a record where I was hardly annoyed with the main girl.

Plus, the chemistry between Mike He and Cyndi Wang was too good. When they kiss or hug, it ends up giving you a warm feeling. I really loved how they were able to understand each other completely. You can really compare the relationship Mei Le had with Yi Feng and the one she has with Yi Lei. I was almost wishing like I could be in their fairytalesque story too. Both characters have their shortcomings and they way they manage to make it work irrespective of that is amazing. My shipper heart was happy all the way upto episode 10.

Now, the last 4-5 episodes were kind of lacking in romance. I wasn't too thrilled with the reappearances of Xuan Xuan and Yan Shao. The sister-pretension plot was silly, but it managed to be an alright plot device to drive the main couple apart. Plus here there was another more of a sensible situation than a dumb ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend breaking up the couple. I have seen enough rom coms to know that separation is always inevitable. It happens here too. But it is amazing that the story managed to remain interesting enough to watch even after driving them apart. I had a few issues with the last episode because every one was crying so- I suggest you skip the depressing parts.

I don't know why every one complained about the ending. Okay, they didn't show Mike He but I actually liked how they concluded it. Plus, it was a happy one so what's there to complain? Rom coms never have perfect endings either.

So, all in all- it is one of the many romantic comedies, part-melodrama. Yet, I think it was different and definitely more enjoyable than the ones I have been watching till now. It has ended and I feel like I parted with a friend. I am happy giving this drama a try and it definitely goes in my favourites' list. Highly recommended!

when after finishing a drama it leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling like on a cold wnter morning waking up with a happy dream you know u've just marathoned through one AWESOME drama!

The plot sounds pretty cliched and has been exhausted plenty times in other dramas with the cold guy falling for our sweet hearted heroine but this one drama actually reinvents itself in many ways.
The story is pretty nicely planned out and we actually can guess where its going(no surprise there..:D) but somewhere along the way we stop analysing or using our brains while watching a drama but this one is actually pretty complex in some ways.

I LOVED how Mike He played the main guy. He's not polished in his acting even after many years(can already hear the girls screaming..) but frankly here i would say he did a good job. He's easy on the eyes and is i guess the only actor who can have chemistry with anybody, even a tree..:D
Cyndi Wang as Mei Le did a good job.She doesn't overact as much as the other TWdrama heroines tend to do.

I am a sucker for damaged leads and this one drama delivered on this aspect so nicely and in such a touching way that this one goes down in my list of favourites...i like how the leads are so flawed and how they work together to heal each other and in the process fall in love too...:)
The chemistry is mind blowing in this one, reminded me of Secret Garden so much. The leads here are so snappy and adorable with each other and at the same time that it makes one wanna go crazy over this couple. The best part of their chemistry is that its so believable how these two could easily fall for each other. How they are motivated and the reason their attitude are the way they are leaves no room for contemplation and gives us a straight forward answer. The reasons for their behavior are pretty good and how they change gradually throughout the drama is very pleasent to watch.Their scenes has this distinct beauty and a dreamy quality that is so beautiful.Their scenes together are shot pretty beautifully with the whole sunshine playing tricks on the eyes that it makes their love all the more beautiful.their were enough cutesy moments and entralling scenes to keep a romantic like me glued to my screen for hours. The best part of their relationship is the spontaneous hugs and kisses. In many dramas they come out as pretty awkward but here it seems so natural and mixed in with Yi Lei's impulsive personality and Mei le's denial makes it great. What the writer did with the toast concept and mixed it with the romance was charming

At 13 episodes this was an easy watch and didn't drag long like other dramas tend too.The story does slow down and gets burdened with angst in the last episodes but it is all worth it since its pretty heartwrenching and believable and touching at the same time.

The subplot involving the lead couple's brother and sister was too cute.i loved their love story and could understand why they fell. They are running parallel to the love story of the main couple and its cute to watch them together fighting and snapping their heads off each other.I don't have any sympathy for women like Xuan Xuan or men like Yi Feng so their parts were what i fast forwarded the most through.Xuan Xuan is annoying.period.

The music fit well thoughout the drama and the one track stood out was stick to you sang by the leading lady herself..:)

I will definately be rewatching this since all those captivating and lovable moments filled with such amazing chemistry will always leave me wanting more of this couple.

Highly recommeded for any die hard crazy romantic fan like me..:D
Trust me this will leave you wanting more and more of this amazing couple

This drama is full of drama cliches. Yet, I can't help myself from liking. Maybe because it has a powerful cast. Cyndi Wang and Mike He have great chemistry. AND XUAN XUAN IS SO ANNOYING OH MY GOOOSH. She pulls those big big eyes on everyone and lies through her bare teeth. I'm sorry but she annoyed me wayyy too much.

I really enjoyed the sub-plot between Cyndi's brother and Mike's sister. That was cute. And my all time favorite actor was in here too - Bin Xaio Xaio! Awww.

Story: I rather liked this drama. At first I really hated Mei Le because of her complete Mary Sue character, but after a few episodes you come to understand she isn’t that perfect at all. She’s still all too innocent and pleasant but I came to like her later on. The drama had me going from the start, I would eagerly wait for the next episode to be subbed. The twists and turns kept me wondering what would happen next, how would they all be pushed to their limits? Until the last few episodes all the drama seemed realistic and was presented in a smooth way. Unfortunately, the last few episodes, though played out so nicely I cried several times just watching the pain Mei Le was in, was overdone. It felt like they just wanted a few more episodes to make it longer so they added something they didn’t really need. Despite that I rather liked the ending. It wasn’t one of the best endings, but was still played out nicely.

Music: The soundtrack is one of the best I’ve ever heard. Cyndi Wang is a singer so it’s no wonder they had her sing. I was really surprised to hear Mike He in the soundtrack. It’s no doubt he’s a good actor but he’s also a pretty goody singer as well.

Cast/Acting: Honestly, I think Mike had much better chemistry with Cyndi than he did with Rainie. They looked like they were a real couple with the way they would play around with each other and even when they got into fights. The relationship seemed so real between them, that when they were both in pain, it would make me want to cry. They did such a great job, it’s some of the best acting I’ve seen in a romantic comedy.

As for the supporting cast, they were alright. Not as great actors as the leads, but half way decent.

Love Keeps Going is the third Mike He drama I’ve seen since I started watching Asian Dramas. I first seen him in Devil Beside You then in Why, Why Love and I want to strangle myself for giving him the chance to redeem himself because right now I literally want to slap him.

I kind of liked this at first. Mike He and Cindy Wang‘s team up is something new. I got tired seeing Mike with Rainie Yang so being paired with a new love interest is enough to pique my interest in giving this drama a chance.

Mike’s role is the usual stereotyped, arrogant, rich, high maintenance character he frequently get cast into hence I assumed playing this role is a piece of cake. Well, I expected too much.

In the first few episodes of the drama, his acting was over the top. I was hoping that his acting would come naturally since he played a similar role in most of his dramas. I did say he always gets this rich-bad-boy-facade role, right? I wish he’d come to his senses and get a new role that’s out of his comfort zone. He should challenge his self more! I’m getting tired seeing him play the same roles over and over again.

Cyndi Wang didn’t do better. She’s also overdoing it in the first few episodes of the series and her role doesn’t fit her. Though she’s far better than Rainie Yang when it comes to acting, there’s still a lot of room for improvement. This is the first drama I watched with her as part of the cast so I don’t have much to compare her performance with.

It was a good thing that Cyndi Wang and Mike He have a good chemistry together. They looked good as a couple and if not because of this I would have dropped this drama half way through.

If you’re a fan of Mike He and would enjoy by merely seeing him, go ahead. I won’t stop you. Watch it for all your heart’s content.

But as for me this drama nailed it.

I Love my sanity so I’ll keep going and leave Mike He behind. I’m not going to watch any of his dramas again. Ever.

I really enjoyed watching this drama.
The story was interesting and it didn't drag anywhere. I also really liked the main actors. They did a great job. The music was cute and added to the feel of the scenes.
Another thing was the number of episodes was just right to tell the story well, without dragging it much. Every episode I finished watching, I wanted to watch the next one more. In fact, I felt they could have taken some more time to show more of the couple in the last episodes.
The one disappointing thing was the ending. After all the drama about Yi Lie, the way they chose to end it felt incomplete.
If there is one thing worse than one of the lead characters having some illness towards the end, it is ending the drama without being conclusive about it.
Other than that, the drama was good to watch.

I really liked this drama, it had a story that i had never watched before (and I have watched a lot of dramas). At times I was glued to my computer and had to keep watching, but at others I had to take a break because it would get crazy with scandals. I also feel that the ending could have been better, it seemed like they squeezed to much into that one episode, but overall it was really good and I would recommend it to a friend. (^^)

OVERALL
Good show, that would have been even better without the unnecessary drama added up in the end. Watch if 1) You're looking for a coherent love story, 2) You want to see sparks between the actors and something more than kisses, 3) You can handle uninteresting peripheral plots (by watching or skipping, up to you) for the sake of the main couple. Don't watch if 1) You can't stand cliched dramatic elements, 2) You like strong female leads (even though she's not that bad), 3) You're looking for romantic comedy more than comic romance, since there's not that much comedy in here.

THE STORY
There's sort of a pattern I've been noticing in some Taiwanese romcoms. Even if 90% of the show is light, fun and sweet, they just have to go and put some drama at the very last couple of episodes, which they don't resolve in a reasonable time to provide a good, rounded-up ending, but they drag on to the last few minutes, resulting in a rushed, often dissatisfying ending. In some cases, it's still okay, but in this one, probably because the dramas so short, I feel like the ending pretty much brought down the show. Also, there's just too many characters to hate or not care about. If you forget these two factors though, Love keeps going is quite good. The main characters are a bit more developed than the protagonists of the usual romcom, which means that they're more understandable and real. Their relationship gradually evolves from nothing to something, and they have several cute, sweet and sexy scenes together.

THE ACTING
Pretty good. Mike He had not convinced me in Sunny Happiness, but here he was great. Cindy Wang I saw for the first time in here and she's probably in my list of Taiwanese actors to follow now. They had good chemistry too. Supportive actors did a good job, even though their characters were not the most likable.

THE MUSIC
Only for Cindy Wang's song, Don't Cry (Bu ku), I give it a 7. The other songs didn't leave much of an impression on me.

REWATCH VALUE
Until episode 10, definitely rewatchable. I would just stop it before all the drama.

When it comes to Mike He I will watch almost every drama of his. I am not addicted to the guy, but I like his acting and gorgeous smile. In this movie he plays a good role. The chemistry between main leads was good, but I like him better in Why Why Love. Mike He really acted well in this drama. The plot is interesting. There is not many crazy twists, the story seems to be sweet and simple. I have to admit I had to see how the drama will end so I read synopsis of the last episode that help me a lot anyway. Because of mixed reviews and unknow if there was death or not in the family I felt that the authors should have ended it with more details and not rush the story so much. Within last 15 min you just had a huge jump between years and the story ended. For me it was not disappointing, but rather should be executed a little better. Maybe they run out of budget, or Mike had another arrangement to be made and end the movie earlier. After only 13 episodes it would have be nicer if we could get the last one extended to more details. Otherwise, whenever there is Mike He drama, I will watch as I am a big fan of his :)

If you like Mike He, you'll LOVE this drama.

As a Mike He fan, I saw the description and decided to watch this drama.

I absolutely loved. Mike He is really different from his other roles, he gives a cute aura as well aside from the sexyness we all know (*blush*). The actress is totally compatible with him. Overall the cast was well chosen, and the chemistry pretty cool!

The plot is addicting. It makes us want for more and more.
They just messed it up a bit in the last episodes. It was like they threw water at us, viewers. They could be a bit less dramatic, and develop some parts. Also, give us the ending we deserve..

I can say this was a drama that made me fall for Mike He all over again. If it wasn't for the ending episodes(it was pretty cool, and I loved it, but it could have been better), I'd say it was my favorite drama :]
