Ever since I heard that Lee Min Ki was in this movie, I wanted to watch it! I've recently heard about him [like others] from his short role in Shut Up Flower Boy Band. He left me impressed and dazzled, wanting to see more of his works. After watching the trailer for this movie, I knew I was going to like it.

Like others have stated, Spellbound is one of those movies read more that incorporates a lot of different genres. Horror and comedy? Can you really make a movie turn out good by using these two genres? This movie is proof of that. It had me laughing throughout more than half of it, but there were also those scenes that had me jumping from where I was sitting because I didn't expect something to happen. If you're someone who doesn't like scary movies, you might find a couple of these scenes to be scary. But there's also comedy that you wouldn't find in a typical horror flick. And romance on top of it! I'm not a big fan of horror films, I get jumpy easily and if I watch one at night before I go to bed - I can guarantee it'll take me hours to fall asleep unless I'm able to take my mind off of what I just saw. This movie is perfect for people who don't handle scary movies that well - because it leaves you not with a feeling of being scared but a feeling of calmness after it's all said and done.

The acting is great! I mentioned already that I briefly saw Lee Min Ki in Shut Up Flower Boy Band and loved him here. He's a really good actor, he has this certain charm about him - I feel he can pull off any look or character and still do well.

I haven't seen Son Ye Jin in anything, so I have nothing to compare it to. I feel she held her role here nicely. They both shared chemistry and the acting was done naturally.

The music didn't really stand out too much to me in this movie. There was one song I briefly remember that had a nice sound, but nothing I'd listen to outside of the movie.

I can definitely see myself watching this movie again. I loved it. It wasn't perfect, but it was done really well.

Overall, I think this movie is worth watching. If you're looking for something with comedy and romance with a dash of horror - you got it. No really, it's worth watching, it might seem odd, weird, but once you start watching you get pulled in. Give it a try (: There's some really funny scenes!

I don't give full 10 for nothing...this movie was absolutely great...I was looking for comedy, but when I saw that this movie's genre was horror...I kind of hesitated a little bit...but I wasn't let down…

When I knew from the reviews that Kang Yeo Ri, saw ghosts and was actually haunted by a ghost, I was curious how Ma Jo Goo will adapt to that hard situation. This story wasn't only about read more facing our fears, but also about accepting them. You'll understand when you watch the movie.

The acting of both leads was really skillful and the chemistry was there. There was evolution in feelings. What I mean that, the male lead didn't suddenly fall in love with the girl, but slowly realizing he had feelings for her. The script was wittingly written and reinforced the roles of the actors, which made the movie really amusingly horrific.

The music was hauntingly beautiful. That is all I can say

Overall, the movie was really comic and horror in the same time. I assure that the comic scenes are not silly, but really hilarious and so are the horror scenes are really scary… So if you were a scary cat (just like me), I would recommend skipping the horror scenes, couse the movie is worth watching :)

Both THE MASTER'S SUN, and SPELLBOUND are cute Romantic Comedies with spooky ghost activity.. Both have a leading lady that sees Dead People and a leading man that helps her to lead a more normal life.

This movie is frustrating on so many levels. The incorporation between the horror, romance, and comedy made it difficult to establish a coherent effect. It was just all over the place to the point where each incorporated genre became too contrived (even some dialogues that attempted to be meta). Nonetheless, Lee Min Ki's acting is commendable at least as juxtaposed to Son Ye Jin's here.

Couldn't agree more. Waste of Lee Min Ki's acting and my time.

Absolutely LOVED this. LMAO! Feeling so happy and light right now after watching this. It was so much fun. Son Ye Jin was gorgeous in this and MIn Ki hot as fire. I like when he does light comedy roles...he reminded me a lot of his character in Dal Ja in this one. His deadpan way of acting suits the dark quiet roles he can be so scary in, but when given well written comedy sarcasm, like this movie, he is quite good. And he OBVIOUSLY LOVES to kiss his leading ladies. Don't stop watching when the credits start rolling. There are a few more absolutely hysterical scenes that will have you on the floor! 9/10 for just making me happy and giving me a great day!

I'm definitely watching this one again.!

This movie is so sweet and cheesy! I honestly love it! As an avid kdrama mini horror fan this was actually a bit scary but I just close my eyes for those parts. (It helps lol) I was going to rate it an 8.5 but ending is just so sweet I had to add a whole nother star! I recommend definitely if you are prepared for some pop ups that might be a little spooky!

    9.5/10 stars
