I thought the final was absolutely amazing. The acting was great, of course, and the characters fit together like they did in the drama. The final could have been made into a drama itself. I really loved the storyline of the final, and am really sad that it had to end. The final has some adventure in it which makes you want to keep watching to see what happens next. The ending was the best though. Being a huge fan of Hana Yori Dango, I was so sad to see it end, but seeing the way the final ends, although it is sad, was the perfect ending to one of my favorite dramas of all times. I just wish that the plot of the final was a little bit more clear. I kind of felt that the writers tried to pack so much into the final that it should have been a drama, but I know some people might get tired of the drama continuing on. There was so much fit into the small amount of time that the ending seemed a bit too rushed, and I don't think the time needed in certain scenes was there, but besides that, the final was amazing. It has definitely become one of my favorite endings to a drama, and if you're a Hana Yori Dango fan you won't be disappointed watching the final, because it's worth it.

Final film is just like next drama's episode, which is summary all this story and it makes beautiful end. The all series is epic, so I suppose that this movie doesn't require bigger comment. When I watch that long drama I always feel sadness that I have to part with characters, but on th other hand it is a huge benefit, because if something is too long, the plot loses sense and casts has more crazy threads. In this case I know I can always comeback to drama and characters won't be changed.

words didn't describe how excited i was for this movie when i first heard about it's making back when HYD2 ended. I may be biased because the Japanese version of Boys Over Flowers is my favorite but this was one of the best Japanese movies I have ever watched (: with a great ending may I add.

The story was well planned out and a fantastic conclusion to the Hana Yori Dango series.

As I did the first and second season, i adore this cast. and Akira also played a sort of villain pretty well. Matsumoto Jun's chemistry with Inoue Mao is incredible and they have always been my favorite drama couple. The way they act with each other..it just makes me so happy!

the soundtrack to this movie is also great. love love love Arashi's song One Love.

I'm still sad that this series is complete but it's also nice to come back to this movie, you can't help but smile at the end (:

Yeah at this point I only watched this to see the ending of everything. I wasn't very impressed by the plot of this movie, I loved the actors though. I think they could have thought this movie out better, put everything together in a more clever way. Everything felt like it was sort of scrambled together. I don't recommend this movie.

Story: The plot was a little exaggerated, but then again it’s a fictional movie that’s based off of a manga. Of course it’s going to be a little out there. Still, it was really funny and romantic. Since there is nothing similar to this movie out of all the remakes, you literally wonder what the hell will happen to them next. Just how far will everyone push each other?

Music: I honestly didn’t pay much attention to the music. I think the theme, One Love by Arashi, is really good. Not sure why it starts out with Bag Pipes though.

Cast/Acting: They all stay in touch with their characters, though sometimes it felt a little over played.

First of all, I have to say that what I was able to watch was Hana Yori Dango Final (Director's Cut). I don't know how different that is from the theatrical cut, but, yeah, I'm reacting on what I've watched.

The story is a good one although I found some scenes boring. I guess it's most probably because it's not really edited and cut much. Still, it's good to be a wrap-up of the story. All the actors did good jobs and that is really important.

The music goes well with whatever is shown.

I don't think I would want to re-watch this much.

For me, this is a good movie. Of course, it's recommended for those who watched the series because just watching the end of the second season is not enough.

I didn't like this part as much as the rest of the series. I felt like the plot was really random and a bit pointless, but the amazing actors were still able to pull it off. The best thing about it is the ending and the nice way it wraps everything up. Not as good as the rest, but still definitely worth watching.

Why HANA YORI DANGO will always be THE SUPERIOR/BEST VERSION a.k.a THE GOLDEN STANDARD!

HANA YORI DANGO is the ONE AND ONLY VERSION that GOT TO PLUCKED MY HEARTSTRINGS, FREAKIN' PLAYED WITH MY EMOTIONS & MADE ME FEEL ALL SORT OF THINGS!!! The way HanaDan was made was SO COMPELLING, FULL OF ANGST & HEARTWARMING, that's why, it will ALWAYS BE THE SUPERIOR VERSION a.k.a THE GOLDEN STANDARD!!!!!!! ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Just watch HANA YORI DANGO is you want to see:

• A properly tailored flow of the scenes/plot. QUALITY MORE THAN QUANTITY!

• The version that stood the test of time a.k.a. REWATCH VALUE.

• Well-written characters that's why you can understand why they're acting the way they were.

• Polished arcs of the characters, most especially to Domyouji’s redemption, with his arc in S2!
(It was the heaviest compared to his other counterparts.)

• The STRONGER THAN THE WHOLE PERIODIC TABLE CHEMISTRY of Inoue Mao (Makino Tsukushi) and Jun Matsumoto (Domyouji Tsukasa), and how their chemistry really worked like magic which also launched thousands of shippers until this day on! Their chemistry was so believable that you could actually feel their scenes whether it be love, confusion, pain and longing!

• The solid & genuine friendship of F4 and how it extended up to Makino.

• The version that gave justice & “more than meets the eye” element to Makino and Domyouji’s character sketches and against all odds love story; whereas, Inoue Mao and Jun Matsumoto perfectly etched a convincing, endearing, full of angst, in-depth and emotional rawness to their portrayals which really stood out above the rest. They have this amazing control over the audience that makes you super-emotionally invested and attached to their characters and how they affect each other!

• The ICONIC OSTs (Wish, Love So Sweet, One Love, Planetarium, Flavor of Life & Kiss Hug) and the very beautiful music scoring (composed by Kousuke Yamashita) used that made the emotional scenes of HanaDan even more poignant & heart wrenching!

• THE CONSISTENCY OF THE ITEMS THAT SYMBOLIZES MAKINO & DOMYOUJI’S ROMANCE as they're constantly there and really plays “plot” in the show too! They were able to deeply showcase the important roles of those intricate items, not just some random pretty decorations.

1.) SATURN NECKLACE - According to the horoscope, Makino & Domyouji are “people of saturn” meant to share and experience all the fun and difficult times together. You can also see that Makino in this version really treasured the necklace compared to her other counterparts!

2.) THE FLAVOR OF LOVE – As Domyouji said, the flavor of love (bittersweetness) tastes like the lousy cookies Makino made for him. The only Domyouji counterpart that made an impactful statement about Makino’s cookies!

3.) EBISU GARDEN PLACE – a.k.a. their sacred place (I just loved the fact that this is where Makino & Domyouji held their marriage as a nod to their first date!)

• THE CONSISTENCY OF THE NARRATIVE PARALLELS

1.) MAKINO’S EYES – From S1, S2 and Final movie, you will notice that the exposition scenes always start with the close up shot of Makino’s eyes and her multiple “why’s” as it meant that this is her story and journey with F4! She is the main lead character after all and I loved how they highlighted it!

2.) DOMYOUJI'S GALAXY PUZZLES (In Season 1) - You can notice that when Domyouji was starting to show his inner self (behind his tiger mask) and applying what his older sister suggested ("Patience is a Virtue / "You have to love in order to be loved!") to Makino, he also began to happily arrange his galaxy puzzles one at a time. And at the near end of S1, he was able to finally put the last piece of the puzzle before leaving for New York! As a deep viewer who understood this important symbolism, I do believe that Domyouji finally completing the picture of the galaxy puzzle means that his relationship-building with Makino (from "Hate to Love") has already been completely and strongly established! For Domyouji, arranging his galaxy puzzles is like whenever he sees Makino's presence or when he's with Makino━he truly feels happy and genuinely at peace.

3.) “GIRL I APPROVE OF” & “PARTNERSHIP OF DESTINY/ MEANT TO BE/ CHOSEN BY DESTINY” – It’s really endearing when Domyouji was so consistent in saying and initiatively stressing these words to Makino!

• The one and only version that highlighted the importance of Eternal/Everlasting Love on Makino and Domyouji where love is more than just a feeling but a commitment, and the essence of including the person you love in your dreams and priorities in life.

• HanaDan out of all the versions has the BEST PROPOSAL, BEST WEDDING SCENE & BEST SATISFYINGLY PERFECT HAPPY ENDING!

In retrospect, Hana Yori Dango Japanese drama is a classic rom-com done right & its execution was definitely more than just a formulaic statement. it delivered flawed characters that actually had a chance to redeem themselves and perfectly balanced the humor, angst, heart wrenching and romantic moments between the characters! Thus, it will always have a REWATCH VALUE even after so many years have passed or will still pass! ♥♥♥

So if you haven't watched this yet, I BET YOU SHOULD! ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

I cried by the end, realizing that this was the final, nothing would follow and they have wrapped up everything and gave closure to the main characters. (Well, aside from Yuki and Soujiro.)

Setting that aside, I had fun watching it... everything was just perfect for an ending of Hana Yori Dango. The scenery was magnificent, the prestige and money that they were trying to show was very extravagant, as if money was always out of the question. (Sometimes I do get to day dream of living life in luxury like the Doumyouji's) The music was in time with every scene and fits it very well. I could still remember the tones in my head even up to this day.

The actors all seemed natural except for "Kaede's" smile during the wedding ceremony which kind of gave me an eerie feeling. *scratches head*

Story wise, it was sub par. Very fan-fic like and a total spin off from the series... but since I am a biased viewer and a Fan I would have to rate it in a bias of an 8. I loved the twist at the end though, so that makes up for everything. The cast-away feel in the whole movie was a plus point and redeeming factor as well.

THE PERFECT WAY TO END A JOURNEY

Would you believe me if I told you that this is the only movie derived from any drama that I`ve ever watched?Sure, I`ve watched tens of dramas, but I was never really invested to see any special footage and/or extra material. I`ve always felt that it was unnecessary or better said, a drag. This one, however, I have downloaded on my PC in highest quality, despite not being the biggest fan of the whole searching for tiara and going through troubles and tribulations plot. As to why that is, the answer is simple: I just love seeing our F4 gang on screen, no matter what situation they might find themselves in. Again, the story of this movie makes absolutely no sense, which is why the grade for that part is so low. It`s ridiculous, campy, over-the-top and a big departure from the usual format.

That being said, it is still a BLAST to watch for the cast, the chemistry and THAT ENDING. Oh, 12-year-old me cried so much over that damn ending and pregnancy reveal, it`s not even funny. I`m so glad that they didn`t stick to the original ending of the anime nor the manga, because what they came up with is so, so much better. Once again, Mao Inoue and Matsumoto Jun own their roles of Makino Tsukushi and Doumyouji Tsukasa, fighting and making up, which, for people who are still complaining about this - at this point, it`s that couple dynamic that made this whole series popular in the first place. Plus, Tsukasa in this drama, including the movie, is heck of a lot less abusive and irritating than in both the manga and the anime, so I don`t know what to tell you. Just as a warning, don`t apply LOGIC to this movie nor to the rest of this story because, you`ll just be spoiling it for yourself. Let go of your perceived notions and enjoy the ride this movie has in store for you. I`m sure that you`ll be having a blast!

Oh, and for drama producers in the Japanese entertainment industry:Please cast Jun and Mao in another drama or movie, because they are literally the best Japanese drama couple I`ve ever seen. Don`t be dumb, thanks.

perfect conclusion to the love story

Honestly I don't have much to says just wanted to appreciate this movie.I am glad it ended so beautifully.i feel so sad to see it end but it was so worth it.I might be biased but despite the male lead quirks and flaws I loved his character.he was arrogant, sensitive, playful, violent ,silly but so lovable and he was never afraid to show how much he loved Makino .They really suited each other so well.I loved the friends or F4 gang ,they were really the best. This movie was the perfect conclusion to their love story, they were through so much obstacles but it only made them realize how much they loved for each other.I will really miss this drama .

What i love about overall movie is only the ending. Love the ending. Such a perfect ending for their drama.

For this movie story itself i think a little bit over push. It's like they need a way to test the love of Domyoji and Tsukushi but can't find another way to develop. The whole movie for me to say a little weird in some way, a little forced, and i don't know. Such a weird way for the story to develop. Maybe the best way to describe the whole movie write perfectly by Doremeduck

Love in the end they give each character such an ending not only Domyoji and Tsukushi.

Love the ending song sing by Arashi.

Re-watch: Just love to re-watch the ending ^_^
