Finally, I managed to end this drama. In fact, I put this drama on hold for quiet some time when I reached eps 12. But then, I managed to continue watching this till the last episode. Can't believe I was doing those, actually. I remembered how excited I was when I first read about this drama, even before it started to aired. But fortunately I ended up really satisfied with the last episode :)

Story: Different from what others said about how boring the early episodes was, IMO the early episodes are great! I waited every week for new episodes. I want to see more about Yi Seul & Baek Ho.. I really adore how they loved each other, how they cared about each other.. It was.. really sweet (I'm typically a fan to sweet couple like them..) I really enjoyed every episodes.. But when I reached later episodes, I found the story becomes, a bit dragged, and BH-YS's relationship becomes more bitter, especially on around episodes 11-12. And it's true what people said that episodes 11-12 is frustrating, and episodes 14-15 was the turnover. Finnaly after I passed episodes 12, I once again, found myself enjoyed waiting for the next episodes, and am really satisfied with the ending! Such a happy ending :) The side story also add addiction to this drama (I especially adore Tae Nam and Chae Ri's story)

Acting/Casts: Such an outstanding chemistry between Yoo Seung Ho & Park Eun Bin.. They've been together in some project, and it makes them comfortable with each other. Yoo Seung Ho himself has a strong acting base from his dramas before. Other casts also did a perfect job (even the supporting roles really did a great job!) That's why I give 10 for this section! They are really outstanding!

Music: Honestly, for me, some of them are great to build the mood (especially for crying scenes), but some of them were just, average. Outside the drama, some of the soundtracks are on my playlist :)

Rewatch Value: I usually don't rewatch the dramas I've watched before.. But I'm sure that some of you would like to watch this again in some time :D

This maybe not the best drama I've ever watched.. Some people found this frustrating and I was one of them. But if you want to watch a sweet romance, then you come to the right place :)

this was a good story with good acting, i had this on hold so i decided to finish since its only 16 hrs. in the beginning he realised he loved and lost her so he wishes to travel back and correct. this is where it frustrates me. this boy must have time travelled 16 times and every time he just doesnt say the important thing "i love you" the went back to correct the things he fogot to do in the past and the same result still happened. u would think that by the 6th time he would know but oo noo it continues. the beginning episodes drag and i would always think oo well he corrected it i guess its solved but we were still far from it. ep 14 is a tear jerker and ep 16 revives it. the last few minutes of ep 16 are abit confusing and technically cliche. what happened, did he remember!!

I watched this drama while it was currently airing. I can't tell you how frustrating it was to wait each week to figure out what would happen! But then again, this probably isn't the right drama for someone to marathon the episodes back to back in.

The synopsis sounds interesting, huh? Being able to go back and fix things with your first love sounds amazing, doesn't it? As expected, this drama is definitely heart-wrenching. From the very first episode, it was really emotional. Throughout the drama, the moments only got more emotional. If you love sad dramas, then you'll definitely love this one.

A lot of the music they used was from Korean indie bands. One specifically was J.Rabbit. The music definitely fit with the emotional parts of the song and J.Rabbit's voice is the cutest and prettiest sounding voice I've heard in a while.

I'd definitely recommend this drama if you're looking for a romantic, tear-jerking drama.

After finishing this drama I'm sad to see it go. I know some people (from what I've read) didn't start liking this show until later on in the episodes because they found the beginning to be boring. I didn't. I've been wanting to watch something with Yoo Seung Ho for a while and when I heard about this drama I just had to give it a try. I've never seen the Jversion, but I've heard that this version is a lot different (doesn't surprise me much because Korean remakes tend to be different). I loved it! Everything about it. I found myself rooting for Baek Ho on his journey and this drama left me feeling a lot of different things. Each week I found myself falling more and more into the story and before I knew it, I was even looking forward to it more than Shut Up Flower Boy Band - I just had to know what was going to take place next.

This drama frustrated me so much, everything Baek Ho tries to do, it seems to go in another direction. I think I must enjoy dramas that frustrate me, because the drama makes me feel so much and by the end, I feel that I've travelled so far with these characters, they've been through so much and it feels like a lifetime happened in a short amount of time.

The acting was terrific! Yoo Seung Ho is a child actor himself, so you know he's had a history of acting and he really pulled off the character of Baek Ho. I definitely want to watch more with him, he's going to make it far in acting. Park Eun Bin also did a really good job. I loved her as Yi Seul, and the chemistry between her and Yoo Seung Ho was good as well. All of the acting was good.

I loved the friends. Tae Nam's love for Chae Ri and Jin Joo's love for Chan Wook. The side stories with them were sweet and nice.

There were parts I found myself wondering if they forgot to show something, as something had happened earlier and it felt like they had forgotten it - but every time I thought that it wound up showing up later on in the right moment.

The music was nice. All along I loved it as the music for the drama, and I kept thinking I probably wouldn't listen to it outside of the drama but I find myself listening to the songs in the back of my head. I guess I grew to really like them with each episode.

Rewatch value...I definitely can see myself watching this again sometime. Not for a while - plus I want to watch the Japanese version as well to compare.

Overall, if you liked the Jversion I dunno if you'll like this one. And if you didn't like the Jversion then maybe you'll like this one better. This drama pulled me in and I'm sad to see it's already ended. There's a lot of drama, love, and frustrating moments that make you wonder how exactly this drama is going to end like.

I kept thinking the whole time that the drama was going to end on a different note - but at the same time I knew I was wrong. I almost gave this drama a full 10 but there were a few parts that I felt could've been done a little differently, so I gave it a 9 instead. But I do think this drama has fallen into my favorites (:

I really enjoyed watching the final episode of Operation Proposal. I think I saw it 2 times after finishing it. The last episode basically sums up the entire story. I would definitely recommend watching this, just so that you can see the final episode. I believe that everyone has a time in their life that they regretted and would like to change. Watching this show would makes you want to root for Kang Baek Ho to be able to fulfill his dream of being with Ham Yi-Seul.

I've been wanting to watch this drama for a while now, and I've kept putting it on hold ever since I saw it on Netflix a while back. Then I started watching missing you and fell in love with yoo seung ho and voila! Here I am, telling you how cute of a drama this is!
I really liked it, it's a great drama if you're a newbie and want to start watching kdramas. It tells the story of love really great and shows the fighting spirit that only one could see in a protagonist of a kdrama. Seung Ho's an amazing actor, making me just die at the sight of him. The guy from flower boy next door is there too, but I think he serves a much bigger role in this drama.
Like I said before it's a great drama. There are just a few things you have to bear with because it does get repetitive at times. But it never failed to make me want to keep watching. (i spent my whole last two days of spring break watching all 16 eps if that helps)

The cast was awesome. Seung ho was just beautiful, what else could i say? Park Eun bin who plays Yi Seul (the protagonist's love interest) is such a cute girl, and her character's personality is wonderful as well. And Lee hyun jin was just an adorable "rival" to seungho's character.

The music was good too, I still can't get the tune of the ost out of my head. It's gotten so bad that even my 3 yr old sister knows it ah.

Normally I don't rewatch dramas except for Boys over Flowers and Full House --only because those were my first two dramas and ya -- but this drama is definitely one I would want to rewatch.

It's not the perfect drama and I do have to admit that it aggravated me at times and certain episodes. But it's a great one if you're into the "nice guy doesn't have to finish last" sort of plot. (Which I am, so maybe that's why I really liked it) So I recommend it and wish all those who will watch it the best.

This drama if you have watched the Japanese version will probably be loved by the people who love Kdramas the most.
1) Overly Dense Idiotic Men
2)100s of missed chances and miscommunications
3)Amnesia
4)Accidents
5)Supporting role couple ADORABLENESS (its a word i created it)!
6)Kiss scenes to watch over and over and over (i could keep going) again
7)Kdrama Magic!!

Honestly, the only reason why this drama dragged a bit was because the concept was waaaay too simple. A guy was a coward and never confessed to his first love and now she's getting married to another man, so he travels back in time and tries to change things. In my opinion, this would've been great for a mini-series, but not a drama. Basically, the writers had 16 episodes on their hands with one simple storyline, so they had to keep stretching and stretching and repeating and repeating until finally, whew, the ending yay. There were many moments in this drama when it was like he purposely CHOSE the harder path for himself. It seemed that no matter what he did, he never. got. the girl. Why? Because if he did, what the hell were the writers gonna do for the rest of the show? Write 5 hours worth of them cuddling and being all romantic? Still, I found myself rooting for Baek Ho all the same. There were many times where I have wanted to slap him for being an idiot, or yell at him for being an idiot, or beat him up because HE WAS AN IDIOT. It's like, does he not remember what he went through to get to where he was? He just goes and throws it away like it's nothing? Oookay. There was this one time that I legit spit out my water mid-drink and started yelling at the screen upon hearing a facepalm worthy thing happening. Just prepare yourself.

The actors were definitely not the problem in this drama. Everyone was great. Yoo Seung Ho never disappoints (as always) and Park Eun Bin matched him pretty well. I don't know if it's because they were childhood friends (ok let's be real here it's because they were childhood friends) but they had heaps of chemistry. I didn't like Yi Seul (portrayed by Park Eun Bin) towards the end though. It was pretty obvious in the beginning that she was someone with a spine; a girl who spoke her thoughts and definitely wasn't shy. However, towards the end its like someone reached inside and completely crushed it. She was told time and time again "I like you", hints were dropped, actions were done. And yet. Your crush for 2 decades confesses to you and you say "Nice joke"?! Wow. Anyway, it's all good though, because she grew her spine back pretty quickly. Overall, everyone was amazing, even the small supporting roles.

If you read my other reviews, you'll see that music almost never stands out to me in dramas unless its from a historical drama. I don't know, I'm just like that haha. For me, I either like really kpop-y songs or deep emotional songs. There is no in between ;)

I also don't tend to rewatch dramas, simply because there are always scenes in dramas that I don't like but watch anyway because it's my first time and I need to know everything, but the second time around I just skip. What's the point of watching if you're just gonna skip everything, right? But who knows, maybe one day when I've forgotten about it I'll come back.

Overall, this wasn't a bad drama, and the actors certainly weren't bad either. The concept was just too simple. There were too many times where I was like if only you had done THIS, or if only you had listened to her, or if only you didn't misunderstand so easily. But, give it a watch. I find it kind of fun when dramas aggravate you, and this one definitely will.

This drama was a fun and frustrating ride. It's the story of Kang Baek Ho who attends his best friends wedding and truly regrets never confession to her. He gets the opportunity to go back in time and to do what he was never able to do in the 20 years they knew each other. By the length of the number of episodes in this drama, you can figure out that this was not as easy as one would think. Therefore, this drama can be quite frustrating, especially if you had to wait an entire week to find out what happens next. However, due to these cliffhangers, the writers really knew how to get the audience's attention and make them come back for more. The drama has many themes running: love, regret, friendship, honesty, fighting for your goals, etc. It has both funny moments as well as heartbreaking moments.

In terms of acting, I think it was well done on the part of the entire cast. The music was also quite pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed the drama despite the torture. Though, this might not be a drama for everyone, it can definitely suit the romantics out there.

Seriously no depth. A Kdrama will have its ups and downs; times when you want to scream with frustration, and times when you want to die, just for cuteness overload. This doesn't seem to have any cuteness. The main characters have absolutely no chemistry, there are almost no redeeming scenes. Yi Seul is perpetually clueless, Baek Ho never seems to step up to the plate (sad, considering this is a baseball drama as well!). I might have given it 2 stars, but I have to admit the last few episodes are actually watcheable. Still doesn't completley redeem it though. Oh well, they can't all be awesome..

I just finished the series, so there are still some lingering feelings here, but i will try to be fair! :D

Plus:
Yoo Seung Ho: I admit that he is the main reason why i started to watch it. An eye candy and a great actor. You like him, than watch this drama! No further reasons needed!;)
the cast in general: I just love the actors! They are never awkward to watch or all over the place. The chemistry between them is amazing, especially between the two main actors. You really get the feeling of watching friends having fun and not some actors taking part in a drama.
the story: Even if it`s lacking sometimes and they are some few inconsistencies, the idea is sweet and refreshing. Of course there are some typical, clicheed story lines which you know from other series or remind you of it. But seriously, it´s not easy to reinvent the wheele, especially when it comes to the script of romatic-dramatic series. But still it managed to give you the impression of something new and interesting.
kissing scenes: You are bored and annoyed of the normal smacks, you always get to see? Not here. You want some chemistry and "real" kissing, here you go.
the end: I really loved the ending. It made up for ALL the bad points. The last three episodes alone are a reason to (re-)watch it. Really well done. A total turning point and it changed my opinion of the drama completly!

Minus:

It was dragging too much at some points. Which is kind of annyoing, because there are so many things to tell and they just don`t do it. At some moments you felt like cheewing way too long on the same cheewing gum.
I think they could have focused a bit more on the supporting actors. It felt like that there was something missing.
But besides that, worth to watch. Ah, i never know how to rate the rewatch factor. Because, for me it´s kinda hard to watch a series again when i already know the ending.

I had plenty of Whaattt??-Again??-Why-does-he-screw-up-so-many-times!?-desk-banging moments while watching this drama. You can't help feel sorry for Kang Baek Ho but he sure does make you smile like an idiot when he does things right.

His trips back in time are pretty much always successful but I guess Yi Seul never seems to be satisfied [like most of girls do, j/k :p] Therefore, is never successful in preventing her marrying Coach-uh on returning to the present.

You're always anticipating the next episode as you want to know the end if he's going to get the girl or not. I stopped an episode half way and went to sleep as I was so mad that he couldn't get the girl, AGAIN! Since it had such a profound effect on me, I LIKE THIS DRAMA. The effect was also probably due to Yoo Seung Ho being the lead ;D

Sometimes there is way too much baseball in the episode but it is a baseball related drama so it can be forgiven.

All in all a fun drama to watch. Enjoy ^^
