I have no words

Omg, this episode was so wild. From the start to the ending I wasn't able to take a breather. And I wonder how many times I still need to cry so that the writers are satisfied. First the mother's death that devastated me and then the hyung died, which I didn't expect to happen this soon. It was so sad when Kang To realized that he has lost his own family and that was the first (or maybe the second) time that I felt sincerely bad for him and wished that he would come to the good side so that he can get something like a happy ending later on (although I wouldn't be surprised if this drama killed everyone we ever cared for and left all the watchers as emotional bundle that don't know what to do with their lifes anymore).

But I'm not sure what to think of Kenji's death (he is dead, right?). I mean I KNEW that he would've to die but again I didn't expect him to die NOW. I thought he'd die at the end of this drama or something. And I wonder how Shunji will react when he finds out that Kang To killed his brother. I really don't want them to become enemies. Their friendship is so precious and I don't think I'd be able to watch it go down the drain.

Well deserved high rating!!!

I truly agree with all the high ratings of this drama. This was an amazing episode full of cliffhanger and heartbreaking moments. The Koreans are truly outstanding in their dramas as whenever I think I have seen the best drama (City Hunter, King2Hearts) another one comes up which reverses my convinction of not being able to see anything better. The actors in this are incredibly good and although there is a tad too much violence for my tastes, this drama so far leaves me completely astonished by its beauty.

Finally......it got to me

I didnt get into this drama in the first couple of epis (probably because of so many great reviews, then you have very high expectations ) Now im really into it. I can feel the pain of poor Kang To, and why he is what he is and does.
The other guy is too sweet, I really feel bad for him (for later that is) I dont know why these writers always have to have the love triangle...They could have a different love story for the second leads...but its kdrama i guess.
Everyone is acting really good especially Kang To. This actor really chooses his projects well, all his dramas are great, hope it keeps that way!!!Fighting.

best brother scenes...

Since King2hearts, this drama features some of the most touching brother scenes. I knew this was coming, but it still broke my heart :( I love Shin Hyun Joon here. I know it was necessary, but still..other than that the drama is pretty much well executed and viually an eye candy. The costumes are great.

Excuse me, I will go cry a bucket of tears before picking up this drama...and can someone recommend me a drama where the older brother actually has a different fate? Even if it would still happen, this was too soon, too soon! Why couldn't the brother have at least a couple more episodes? I would have love to see at least a little bit of team work.

I think it may be a while before I return to this drama.

OMG! SO EPIC!

All the episodes so far I've given 10's but this one is far beyond just a 10. It was the most epic! Oh my goodness! Kang To's the only one left in his family! :( This episode made me soo sad. I hated that Kang To killed his own brother! :'( But Kang San was too mad and went all out to avenge for his mother's death. If controlled his emotions he could still be alive! I wanted to see some brother tag teaming! But as always, dramas need to have people dying (oh dramas).

I dont have any words, AMAZING!!

This episode made me really Sob T_T Not only did he loose his mother, but he lost his brother too. MY god! His facial expression when he went to his mother to tell her about his brothers death, but found her dead too.. wow! Joo Woon can really act, the emotions he portray felt really real, I was literary screaming with him! I did not expect to laugh in this episode, but every time teacher(Shunji) gets told that Mok Dan is in danger, he always hurries in his superawesome silly bike, with this action suspense music in the background, while he pedaling the bike as fast as he can .. that part made me laugh. I gotta say though, Shunji turned into a cool guy in the last scene when he was fighting with our new Gakistal! And kimura, i'm glad that ass died.

Heartbreaking episode ;_; Awesome acting!

I actually wanted to rate episode 9, but MyDramaListers highest marks for this episode made me want to review it and give my opinion!
This episode really deserves a 10/10! When I think about Kangto's mother's prayer, it was this episode that made an adult out of an angry "little Kangto"!! Joo Won's acting will make you cry with him, you could literally see pain on his face, and if you ever cried bitterly over something you could see how genuine his acting was!

Epic

Shin Hyun Joon and Joo Won are two of the best actors!!! Joo Won had me breaking down with him. He should get some kind of acting award for this episode alone. The pain was palpable.
On another note?WTH would they give the assignment to find and kill Kang To and Bridal Mask to the biggest incompetent idiot of them all??? It is laughable. Then we have to watch his stupid a$$ torture Mok Dan??? I just wanted to scream.
Some of you may think this is harsh, but I find it vastly amusing that they killed Kang San thinking that they were going to hurt Kang To. All they did was turn him into a raging killing Bridal Mask machine. Stupid!!! Kang San at least had some control and had a purpose whereas Kang To?s purpose is going to be so much harsher than they can ever dream.
I almost feel sorry for Shunji, because he doesn?t have a clue as to what is really going on.
This drama rivals King2Hearts for being the best of 2012 at this point. I am loving it!!!

Tragedies built heros !!

Oh, such a sad ep, so sad, so tragic that became so freaking awesome !!
So yeah, my hateful hero Lee Kang To lost his mother and brother in one night ! and moreover he killed his brother with his own hands, tears and sadness all over the place in this ep, so freaking awesome !!
This ep was the birth of my hateful hero's Gaksital : when u vanish someone's family like that expect to create an anger ball and a soul seaking for revenge at any cost so my hateful hero is Gaksital now, that means beside his hateful self he's now a hero, a vengence soul and one freaking anger ball that will destroy anything in front of him, i'm so liking him this way !

Side notes :

1)I liked the move where the joeson people burnt my hateful hero's house so no one would be suspicious about the death of his family, it will only be in my hateful hero's heart forever !

2)Omo, my hateful hero killed that stupid Kimura Kenji (he so deserved it) and now he became enemies with Shunji (at least as Gaksital), i don't want that, don't want them to fight all the time :(, even though i'm thinking it would be exiting .

OMG, nxt ep is going to be so great as my hateful hero is Gaksital now, i really can't wait T_T.
Now moving to ep 7...

TRAGIC!

hey we all knew Kang San had to die for Kang To to become Bridal Mask but OMFG I can't believe it was Kang To that killed him!!! Did not see it coming! All his family died within one night too!?! Well its pretty common in drama world but its even more shocking this time round!!! Kenji deserved the death he got!!
Man this episode is by far the best so far and gotta be one of my favourite episodes I've seen! It definitely will just get better now that Kang To is Bridal Mask!!! Its going to be epic...Kang To playing a Jap mutt AND Bridal Mask...playing on the two sides....ITS GOING TO BE F*****ING AWESOME!

OK, I SWEAR I WAS HAVING A MENTAL/EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN FROM THE DRAMA OVERLOAD!

Oh my golly, it's like a drama packed on a drama packed on craziness... Seriously, Bridal Mask has more drama than A LOT of standalone dramas I know! How the hell are they able to keep up with the suspense? I give a standing ovation to my computer screen the geniuses behind this project. Bridal Mask is the kind of drama that makes me firmly believe that my faith in Korean dramas has not been wasted after-all; it just requires a bit of patience . Judging from the 6 episodes thus far, it is much better than some of the 16-24 episode dramas out nowadays. I tell you, quality over quantity.

Ok, so back to episode 6.

We thought that Kang To had it bad when his mother died from that wretched Kenji, but no, the writer(s) want to add more tension. So what do they do? They make Kang To protect the man who killed his mother by killing his own brother who was only trying to protect Kang To. Is that twisted enough? No, let's make it worst! Kang To finds out immediately that his mother is also dead. There must be questions after questions spiraling his mind. Sadly, he didn't even have time to sort out his business. He realizes right away who killed his mother thanks to that guy. He then gets knocked out in a blur. Low and behold, he awakes, and instead of being calmed down, he sees fire set to his house. W.T.H? He didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to his mother and brother properly. Now, don't tell me that's not bad enough. It's worst than bad. I used to think the quote, "And yet to every bad, there is a worse" applies to my scenarios, but hell no to Kang To. He has been knocked down to the far pit of hell within a span of a couple of hours. I wanted to hug my screen when I saw his face all like that...

All I can think about is Joo Won's poor face.... his face contortions when he found out about his brother and mother's deaths... GAHH. Heck, when he wore the mask, and did all the bad** moves on Kenji at the station, I was punching the air myself! Shunji also looked so awesome when he pulled out the sword! Shunji vs Kangto made me have goosebumps. That's how much I'm feeling the characters, phewww. I seriously didn't want it to end. This episode flew by too quickly. I didn't even want to blink.
