The music was very appropriate and listening to the soundtrack brings back happy memories of the show,
The show as engaging throughout and I enjoyed the blend of politics and romance. As much as I love the small romantic gestures, I kept wishing for a little bit more. That's what would have made the show a perfect 10 for me.
Lastly, the ending left me wanting. It felt a bit rushed, I would have loved to learn how the stories of each of the side characters ended, especially the king and queen. Also a grand romantic gesture for the leads would have been epic.
I would have rewatched it again right after the first time but I so many othe shows to watch that this will have to wait. Some day, months or a year from now I intend to rewatch this show from the beginning.

The story and its plots were interesting, some characters needed further development, some of them I missed as the story progressed, and some others I wanted to forget altogether. The action scenes could have been improved, I felt a lack of logic to them, such strong fighters and powers that went nowhere. Scenery was majestic, and costumes, well, I want a Wu Dal Chi armor, I'll wear it to work, to do groceries, I'll even nap in it. Music and romance was ok I guess, I'm not into romance that much, I prefer fantasy or action, so I honestly don't know how to right love-related-stuff.
I would recommend this drama to anyone who likes historical tales, strong male leads, action and subtle romance. And to all of you who have Faith ;) because will is all that matters after all.

KEEPS YOU WATCHING
Like others I started watching be ause of LMH. After watching this I am even more in love with him. Is acting was what kept me hooked on this despite the anoying leading actress. Maybe the director made her do the role like this but honestly a few times I had to stop watching beause I was so annoyed with her. Ven her voice grated on my ears. The story has lots of twists and turns. I did fast forward through a lot of the many fight scenes though. The secondary story about the king and queen’s relationship is cute. The ending is something I never saw coming. Was this review helpful to you?
I think I was onto it a bit late, as the drama has already started and it was up to 6-8eps, but I remembered I was so hooked that I wait up every night when the new eps mean to come out, to watch it raw then rewatch it with sub.
The storyline was quite funny when it introduced us to a plastic surgeon rather than an actual surgeon, though it turn out that she’s also conveniently good at any surgical stuffs (easily understandable but still xD). The story also combine fantasy elements with characters has special powers: lightning, fire, ice. It has a great mix of political historical stuffs, romance, comrade/army relationship.
It also shows how the main character is a lot smarter and more thoughtful than she let believe. Despite the age difference, irl and on screen (she supposed to be over 30, and he’s just 25 something), the chemistry was spot on, they show the gentle love and care they have for each other. Not a passionate one on face value, but it is still as passionate deep down, the drama slowly peel off the layers and show the audiences just how deeply in love they are, while trying to not be too much because their future is uncertain. Their love is loving each other while giving the other a way out if need be.
The ending was satisfying because essentially it’s a loop :) the music was very nice and fitting as I remembered.
I have rewatched it a few times after the initial watching, some was at least a year or so after. So I totally recommend it, as it is one of the quite well done time travelling series, that is actually with fresh plot and just enough humour and there are so many side warm heart touching story that will make you appreciate life a bit more.

The cast was amazing. I loved the lead female. she has a unique laughter. The male lead, Lee Minho, is the reason I watched this drama. I loved the supporting cast who were helping the leads.
Lastly, I loved the ending. I was going to kill someone if it was the way they hinted it to be.

Faith's other strong point is obviously Kim Hee Sun. In the first couple of episodes she may come off as slightly airhead-ish, babbling non-stop like a teenager but once you learn that under the facade of this relentless bubbliness, there is a headstrong, intelligent, sassy woman who takes no shit from anyone you will find yourself charmed by her antics. I came to this drama to verify whether Lee Min Ho can actually act or not and was pleasantly surprised. I think this is the only show in which LMH gets into a character rather than acting out the part of a rich, entitled brat/superhero-lite. Choi Young's vulnerability, his heroism in the face of defeat and danger, his emotional scars, his unwavering love for Eun Soo all come through quite wonderfully in Lee Min Ho's performance. And I think Kim Hee Sun's excellent excellent acting may have helped things along in this regard. Only she could have made Eun Soo so endearing, earnest and believable.
The direction is not the drama's strength. In fact it flounders so badly, that there is a constant discrepancy between a scene's emotional content and the actual screenplay. Badass fights look distinctly less impressive because of the choppy editing and shabby production values. There are so many plot loopholes in the drama that one can drive a truck through all of them put together. Several plot devices are rehashed time and again to advance the story and the fantasy bits are rather badly juxtaposed with the realistic bits. The X-Men-ish premise makes zero sense. One wonders if there were indeed X-Men like warriors in Goryeo, why the hell did they not organize themselves against Yuan? Also Young's superhuman powers were rarely used in the drama so I am not sure what was the point of giving him the ability to shoot lightning anyway. Excellency Deuk Heung made for a worthier villain than Gi Cheol who sort of degenerated into a caricature by the end methinks.
I would have liked the time-travelling bits to have been more fleshed out so that we could understand better the past and future Eun Soo's struggles to reach Young across the fabric of space-time. It was probably one of the only plot threads that could have made for interesting viewing but remained sadly underutilized.
Long story short, Faith isn't the best sageuk-fantasy out there (that honour goes to Arang and the Magistrate) and has a shitton of narrative flaws. But it has its heart in the right place. If for nothing else, watch this for Young and Eun Soo's impossible love that develops gradually and becomes the show's only lifeblood. In my opinion, this is one of the best romantic relationship portrayals in all of Kdrama history.

Overall, I would say this drama is pretty amazing. The best thing for me was the cast. I enjoyed Lee Min Ho as cold but sweet Choi Young . Kim Hee Sun nailed her character. I usually only watch for the male leads but this is my 2nd drama of kim hee sun and she didnt disappoint me at all! I enjoyed her flustered and quirky character. They had incredible chemistry as well. I would say the story is pretty well written too. I liked the fact that their is no love triangle and that the 2nd couple (king and queen) were pretty adorable as well. I liked the happy ending since I was worried it was going to end in a tragedy but it didn't.
I would rewatch it since I love happy but not forced endings. A great historical drama!

I might consider finishing this at some point..
this was one of the first kdramas I've started and I'll just list some things I liked and maybe didn't like (in the first 5 eps)liked:
- i liked seeing lee min ho in a saeguk (this was before i watched legend of the blue sea)
- I think the female lead actress suits her role and also acted like anyone would when going back in time
-
disliked/meh:
- idk why but the bad guy reminds me of a star wars character. like he'd fit right in ?
- cringey side bad guys
- the fantasy elements
i haven't seen enough to give a proper review. if i do continue it one day I hope the couples gets together cause I've seen spoilers.

At first I was a little bored since historical drama and politics aren't my cup of tea but I already got adjusted in it and understand the concept of kingdom and it's pretty amazing! Another thing is, the two main characters portrayed their role very well. Kim Hee Sun is such an impressive actress especially with the last episodes. Her acting is full of emotion and it's like for real. Lee Min Ho is a talented actor. From Jeo Gol Dae's cheerful youngest head, to stoic, serious Wu Dal Chi's captain and finally, to a warrior who came back to life (not literally since he's been like dead for the past seven years) who falls in love with a girl from the future and is even willing to risk his life to protect her and the palace as well.
Music? Well, one of this drama assets are their original soundtrack. I love the music played in here. My feels~
I was kept thinking why is it entitled "Faith" XD But good thing it was answered as I finished watching it.
Anyway, totally recommended especially for those viewers who like action, fantasy and romance! ^_^
