This happens, but the Director has Onizuka bailed out. Onizuka continues to try to bring Miki back, but this gets him in trouble with her father, the chief of police. Japan has scary high school students

Reminds me of Gokusen. Only there are more interesting [read: weird] student characters that are slowly coming into play.

Really exciting and tearjerking

Episode 2, in my opinion, continues the growth of this show. I think there will always be people who will dislike remakes, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this.

Everyone from Eikichi to Fuyutsuki to all of the students are playing their parts well. The ending of this episode really got to me. I actually cried when Katsuragi and her father reunited.

I can't wait for episode 3~!
