WARNING: For those who are planning to watch this, you may find it BORING because it has a dark atmosphere that devours throughout the series. But rest assured, "dark atmosphere" doesn't mean it's not good. Perhaps it's not good vibes for the heart, no?

These words keeps echoing on my mind as I'm watching this while having a cup of coffee in the middle of the read more night. Actually, it's good to watch this in a dark room filled with silence at night. I'm not scaring you, I'm just setting up a good way to have a momentum so that you'll be able to enjoy it at the very least because.. it does sounds like an "Edgar Allan Poe" to it if you've already watch or read some of his works. If not, then if you've already encountered a dark series somewhere.

Some of episodes may be a bit too draggy but full of surprises at the end of each story. There may be some good or bad but the tension between emotion and reason extend its influence beyond those protagonists. Eventhough "SUSPECT" is already obvious, it's really an unpredictable twist that keeps you thinking what they've done or ask yourself this:

"Did your 'Detective Intuition' tell you that?" :D

Darkest tangle that leads you to a World of Dark Tales. Some of its OST is good as if it's breaking the silence and some are not that good. This drama is dark and measured, it often illustrates people to dramatic event that explore the darkness of human interaction.

And.. again, I'm not forcing you to watch this one and I can understand why it has low ratings in Japan though those actors didn't manage to save their sinking ship but I highly recommend you watch some of its episode I've seen that good so far. This may be pointlessly obscure or ridiculously mystical but it deserves a good ratings in other way or somehow.. I think so. :)

This is an underrated drama so I decided to make a review about it.

First of all, if you like detective/mystery stories, this drama is definitely for you. Every episode's case is different from one another. Every storyline is unique and exciting--there is always a twist at the end of each story.

Another plus factor for this one is the very good and entertaining narration before the start of each case. And read more also the casts in each stories are already veteran in the field of acting (like Miura Haruma, Toda Erika etc)

Some of the stories also made me cry. Others are funny and some will make you sympathize with the leads.

Overall, this is a must watch! So you better start watching it! ^__^

Both aired as part of the Thursday Mystery Theater programming block, and have a similar format of each episode's case being related to an aspect of the over-arcing mystery.

I actually watch that but still I watch many more great performance than that. sorry we dont share the same opinion, she is very pretty tho. Also to become a veteran actor you should be a well respected actor.

Yeah, i respect your opinion. I don't think she is veteran too, i just think she is really great in act, my favorite actress.

So sorry to dig up an old conversation here! I have to admit, Miura and Toda do not count as "veteran", but I guess none of the actors of this drama (except people like Ren Osugi) can be considered veterans. However, there are good actors in this drama - like Alisa Mizuki, Ryoko Shinohara, and Toshiaki Karasawa.

hmm.. "Endless Night" because the story is a little bit dragging. Though the ending impressed me.

This is very very good..It's a kind of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents..", my favorite is the 8th but all the storylines are simply brilliant!
