Kang Chil Woo was a lowly police officer during the Joseon era. His parents were killed in a raid and his main goal was to stay below the radar to survive. However when his sister was killed, his outlook on life was forever changed and in seeking revenge, he turned into an assassin and began to mete out justice to criminals.

With a similar concept as Iljimae, Strongest Chil Woo is action drama that takes place in the 1600s. The drama has a lot of really cool fighting scenes and the 3-17 episodes have a lot of story packed into them. I liked Iljimae better, but this drama was still pretty good. Although the description said its like a Korean Zorro, it really isn't. The drama was more like a robin hood meets read more three musketeers with different costumes and specialties, than a zorro. I really liked the cast except for Koo Hye Sun's character, which I fast forwarded through all of her parts. I don't know what happened with the writing of her character, but I couldn't even stand to see her parts. Its unusual to hate the female lead but she was so annoying! Anyway, there's a really happy ending, really positive themes, and a few cute guys, so you should check it out. It doesn't drag as much as other period dramas and you can always fast forward through the long meaningful glances.

lmao, they aren't subtle with this Zorro/Three Musketeers game. Desperado theme, horse coming out of the blue for a whistle or standing on its back legs having the moon as a background, black clothes and a mask, loose white shirts and so on. But I have no patience for this.
For future reference: when YAI makes a proper appearance? There's a glimpse of him at the end of ep 1 and nothing so far in ep 2.

I cannot remeber when he shows up but he really leaves a deep impression. He is a main part of the storyline a little further in. one other guy that is So good in this is Lee Eon. He sadly passed away (in real life), but his dramas are all really nice.

i dropped it after the first episode because I HATE when the romantic relationship is already there and we don't see how it started thats the only reason
