I'm finally really enjoying this series. The first 10 episodes were a bit cheesy for me as it focused more on the romance side but now that politics has begun in the inner court with ok jung's rise to power, it's gotten really exciting! Hoping this kind of pace continues. :)

Ah In is the best king ever! He totally told those old farts what he was going to do & to shut up about it. This is the 1st time in a period drama that I have seen a King do something like that. Granted I haven't watched that many, but they usually just skirt around issues till they get what they want. Which pisses me off. If ur the King then u should do what u want & kill any1 who disagrees...LOL! Good job of Ok Jung manipulating every1...LOL! She is good & I am loving this drama! Best period drama ever (so far)!

Yes, hate is a form of affection! Man, this episode had me on the edge the whole time! The Queen Mother is just not dying fast enough for me. As she slowly corrupts poor unloved Inhyeung and basically put her entire court ladies' head on the chopping board, this really was an amazing episode. From showing the pure love the King has for his Suk Won to the forlorn looks by his poor Queen who I have very sympathy for because of her evil father. No wonder Ok Jung turn evil! She never has any peace! The acting continues to be STELLAR! I cannot wait until next week! We are at the 1/2 point.

I loved it from start to finish. You really have to appreciate how great Kim Tae Hee is in her progression of beautiful and naive Jang Ok Jung to a stunning and calculating Jang Hui Bin. And that ending? WOW! Way to go, JOJ!
Yoo Ah In is lovely as ever as is Lee Sang Yeob. Jae Hee's reported to make his debute as Chi Soo in the next episode so I can't wait!

Queen Mother is so EVIL!! Just like Ok Jung said she would make Queen Mother herself say from her own mouth what she did to her. Poor King Sook Jong now knows the kind of mother he has.
Jang Ok Jung is on FIRE and is not scared to face Queen Mother or Min Yoo-Joong. They better watch out for her.
