He then meets a younger woman named Seo Mi-Do. Her personality reminds him of himself when he was that age. Han Tae-Sang begins to feel love for the first time in his life.
Seo Mi-Do is full of ambition and she is also bright read moreand lovely. Seo Mi-Do isn't afraid of anything, because she went through so many difficult times when growing up.

It is really impossible to write a review for this drama without getting my blood pressure up. The people that waited week after week for this drama will truly understand my pain.

All the writers of this drama need to be under some kind of witness protection program because they have succeeded in angering so many people including myself that had to sit through 20 eps of this BS. This drama was read more written under the influence of some serious narcotics.

The acting gets a 9 because they did a good job of conveying the foolishness the writers were spilling out.

Trying not to give away any spoilers, I'm a strong believer of the saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you". Well in this drama there's a lot of biting and chewing and an attempt to amputate the hand that was doing the feeding.

In this drama you get to witness ungratefulness at it's max and decisions that make you question the way some men think.

The drama was good and cute up until about episode 10 when the writers decided to play "how far can we piss off the viewers". In all honesty, the drama could have been done in 16 episodes or better still 10 episodes.

We could have done without all the crap from ep 11 to 19 and 20.
The only take a way is the OST. There are some really good songs in this drama....The drama had some good potential that was played with.

If you want to sit through this be my guest but make sure to drop by for an "I TOLD YOU SO".

Writing this without spoilers was seriously challenging....off to take my blood pressure meds

This drama is,honestly, the worst one I have watched. The plot introduction was intriguing with crime and melodrama. In the beginning, it was only right to sympathize with Mi Do. However, as the drama progressed, I lost all sympathy toward her. Her acting is bad, keeping a stale face and personality throughout the whole drama. It's the first time I despised the lead actress so much. The only reason I rated the read more acting 6 is because of Tae Sang. He played his part great. All the efforts he put in just to get shot down and heartbroken all the way to the last episode. On top of Mi Do, there was also Jae Hee. The 2nd guy in the love triangle is expected to be somewhat irritating (in most cases). Jae Hee had me annoyed from the beginning to the end. I couldn't stand the Mi Do and Jae Hee couple. Honestly, I only kept watching because of Tae Sang or else I would have dropped this drama right from the beginning. The plot playout was very disappointing as well as the ending. There's a nixture of good and bad reviews and I guess it's a matter of how Mi Do got to you. To me, she is the biggest reason why this drama is so bad.

When a Man's In Love has the same type of elements of a Gangster who struggles to balance is lifestyle with love. If you like a melodrama with the theme a topsy turvy struggle of good vs. evil then this one is for you.

Both have the same female lead- she is almost the same in both dramas. both have complicated emotions and relationships- not your traditional kdramas.

6.7 LOL!!! Finally a good fast paced drama, loved every minute of it. Reminded me of Queen of Ambition. So fun and easy to watch. But wait this is mydramalist...the female lead is a *itch, so we don't like the drama and rather watch DOTS as we like things romantic and cute and slow with nothing happening....10 out of 10 from me!

Many angry people here... well, I personally like dramas that make me angry so I loved this one. :D I have a weird thing for possessive male leads in dramas (not irl, never) so this was a perfect fit for my taste. I loved it.

If you hate the female lead, it means that she did a great job.

It's hard to enjoy a show where the female lead is so wrong and cruel. Enjoying her behavior implies a little sadistic side.

This is by far the worst drama I've seen! I hated the lead actress so much but still watched it for Song Seung Hun.

Sorry, I just had to say this after reading your comment. It's NEVER okay to cheat on someone. It's the ABSOLUTE worst you can do to someone, someone who cheats on someone gets looked down on, and rightly so.

That exact scenario happened to a friend of mine. He walked in on his wife and some guy she picked up from a club. And the guy wouldn't leave. With any other person that guy could be leaving in a body bag and probably the wife too.. But my friend is more of the reasonable nice guy.

And that's why I have such HUGE trust issues with women now, been cheated on too many times, or like when I was in Japan, women lied saying they were single when they were indeed married or had a boyfriend. Not good.

There was a special forces soldier that went AWOL. Climbed through the vents in his house and caught his wife cheating.Beat the hell out of both of them.Crazy stuff. In Japan they work them to the bone.So I bet there is plenty of cheating. You even have to go out drinking with your colleagues after work.If you're in the military or work a lot, there will probably be a lot of cheating since you can be gone for months or years

.I will say the only thing that changed in the last few decades around the world is women werent allowed to cheat. In the past it was just men that were allowed to cheat especially in places like Japan.Of course women cheated in the past also but it was never an open secret like with men.

Of course psychologists, anthropologists, etc talk about we aren't really biological made to find one exclusive partner. Its actually a rarity if someone can go through a long term relationship or marriage without cheating.

i'm torn. Watched it initially for Song Seung Hun. I finished this but not satisfied. Characters were not endearing at all. But were they supposed to be? Loved Jae Hee until he got creepy. I was compelled to feel sorry for Han Tae sang, struggled to like Seo Mi Do, got creeped out and then weary of Jae Hee. At the very least, i can be satisfied that i FINALLY watched this. Recommending it? Nah, there's GOT to be something better out there. I'm off to find it.

I loved this drama, couldn't stand shin se kyung. I started this drama about a year ago, dropped it, then tried again. I loved it this time. Just can't stand the female lead, which is why I will never watch fashion king.

Stop Blaming actress. Its story. I like the story i thought it was realist way of showing. In real life once people set their mind , they won't change. She was not thankful for her benefactor. It happens in real life. There are many cold blooded people.

There are many cold blooded people. That is true, but this drama doesn't give a accurate representation of anything. It's a drama. More then half the incidents which came up would never happen in real life. Is that a bad thing? No.
That's ok....if a drama did not have it's melodrama moments...I would wonder if it really was a drama.

One of my biggest issues with this drama, was the actress. As you may know, she does have a reputation that precedes her. For some reason, I don't like her on screen. It feels awkward and does not give me any feeling of reality. Thus, her character comes off as exaggerated or fictitious.

Benefactor?! LOL.....man, you have a weird way of looking at things. Just because someone is your benefactor doesn't mean you have to give everything to them. Including, your body and soul.

      Definition of benefactor:
Someone who helps another person, group, etc., by giving money.

That's it. No selling yourself in the process.

No such thing as a free meal. She didn't have to love him but there should have been some respect after he helped her. But she went beyond the pale to screw him over. Any other loan shark wold have pimped her out.
