I'm thoroughly confused

What did Tae Sang do that was so bad? He took a knife for Mi Do and paid both her and Jae Hee's way through life for the last 7 years. Regardless of what Sung Joo has planted in Jae Hee's head Tae Sang didn't pay his way because he killed the "boss" and Chang Hee took his place in prison. Why would he even trust what they have to say??? He is just looking for excuses to pursue Mi Do.

At first I was trying to understand her character, I have decided to ignore Shin Se Kyung's extremely bad acting. I knew she was horrible when I started watching this...so I only have myself to blame. However, her character, Mi Do has gone beyond confusion to out and out cheating. I can't stand her.

Once again like in Fashion King...I like the men way more than the female character (although like in Fashion King, the men's characters aren't that great either)...I'm not sure right now if that is because of the writing or the acting. Why do I watch these? I'm a glutton for punishment.

Song Seung Hun is saving this drama.

example of a Bad Casting but well delivered

SSH is just too hot for one girl to not be headoverheels in love with especiall if you combine it with power, wealth and alpha male gangster guts. The director and the production seem to think all the watchers of Korean Drama are stupid. However, thanks to SSH's performance anyway as he is able to deliver the most believable acting to this drama- The only thing right going to this drama. The rest of the actresses and actors performances are either so-so or tragic especially the lead actress. What a monotonous acting face! Many times she use blank or passive face when she has to be surprised or happy. WTF. She ain't Lee Yeon Hee to be able to pull that off and be good. Rather she appears to be too dull.

She doesn't deserve them both!

I stated before that I am not against the relationship between Mi Do and Jae Hee but I don’t like the way things are going.

Tae San is a control freak and I hate that to the core, let her go and have some pride man! She doesn’t love you, you saw it with your own eyes and heard it with your own ears so stop being so clingy, no one cares how much you love her.

Jae Hee on the other hand is manning up and trying to take responsibility for a girl who doesn’t deserve him, not even a little which leaves Chang Hee in an awkward, tough position between his brother and Tae San.

Sung Jo is a hateful character, “I will ruin him because when he has none by his side, I will have him all to myself”, what is this woman? Freak show or something?

Mi Do? Hmmm, I hate her, why? Because she's hateful, only one word: “DIE!”

A bit heavy on the drama

Loving what Juniko said about the yoga session haha!! I was thinking that's pretty much all she does in this show. An episode just wouldn't be the same if we couldn't watch her workout while she reminisced intensely on how TaeSang or MiDo pissed her off this time.

Anyway, this show needs to tone down the angry violin music, intense stare downs, crazy eyes and "my life is in danger" overtones. It's getting a bit cheesy at this point. I don't really know what to say at this point. Neither guy is without their flaws and MiDo needs to get that snotty look slapped right off her face. TaeSang is apparently fine living in lala land, JaeHee needs to calm down bc, let's face it, this isn't a life or death situation we're dealing with. And MiDo **sigh** make a decision and stick with it. If you have a connection with JaeHee that just isn't there with TaeSang, then there ya go! Break ups are never easy or fun but sometimes it's gotta be done. Song Seung Hun, you're the only thing saving this show for me at this point.

Why so much hate?

I understand that the characters aren't perfect, and they can be quite annoying. However, I really appreciate how each character's traits have been consistent.

And gals and guys, haven't you heard Michael Bolton's song of When a Man Loves a Woman? There aren't many people like Tae Sang in real-life, but it's believable enough.

I know many people hate Mi Do, but I somewhat understand her position. I do not side with her, but I understand her.

Also, Jae Hee doesn't deserve that much hate. He loves her... what can the guy do?

I think people are too black and white about relationships and 'love'. I know these would be considered stupid if we were to put them in reality, but love makes you do crazy things... and I think that's the whole purpose of this drama.

It's a really fun drama, I must admit. Perhaps, I enjoy watching jealousy scenes way too much more than I should haha.

I admire that these characters aren't perfect. Nonetheless, they really go for what they want. Well, except Mi Do, since she's lost. I completely understand her.

This episode was great because they didn't hide anything. I hate it when dramas prolong things, but Tae Sang let everything out pretty much to Jae Hee.

All in all, this drama shows different POV on love.

They created a monster

So, Jae Hee is starting to actually believe that Tae Sang used his brother ill and made an innocent man into a criminal. So he thinks Mi Do is in danger. Okay. But does that mean that if something had convinced him that Tae Sang was a good man, he would have stopped going after Mi Do? No!
He is only searching for an excuse that could allow his betrayal. Before that, he used the excuse of his weird relationship with our Yoga Goddess, and now that this is over, he is using what SHE said as his new excuse.

Never take what a girl say about her ex-boyfriend seriously, if he is the one who broke up with her! That's Rule N°1 !

As for Mi DO, what's with her suddenly acting like she's afraid of him ? In 7 years he has never treated her badly, quite the contrary he even got stabbed for her. The only thing he has done wrong is cutting her off a good job opportunity (ok, that was very wrong, but still !) He never laid a hand on her, did he ? So why does she seem so afraid of him all of the sudden? She is the one who accepted him and then betrayed him ! The only thing she is afraid of is her own guilt.

I really don't know which side I'm on.
On one side, we got Tae Sang, who proved to be a good man by changing his life and helping her family as well as showing he wants to make her happy, but everything that he does burdens her and now that she wants to break up - only after being found out, so courageous - he doesn't want to let her go, even knowing that she is unhappy with him. And there is also that London thing that bothers me. But I also forgive him because she is his first love and there is an innocence and sincerity about him that I really like.

On the other side, we have Jae Hee, who is obviously a better match for Mi Do and wants her to be happy, and feels bad about betraying his brother. He is very touching.

And, unlike most second male lead in Kdrama, this one is bold and doesn't hesitate to fight for her. He is a gift to all the Second-Male-Lead-Syndrom girls in the world !

Now, as for the episode itself, I liked it. I liked how Tae Sang handled the situation by sending the shirt to him, and I found the Let's-Break-Glasses scene to be both intense and funny (I mean, what's with that Break Your Glass If You're a Man thing ? )
Also, I'm glad we got our Yoga Session (there should be a drinking game about those scenes)
I don't know about you guys but when Tae Sang turned the light on he the room, I pressed pause, and then I was like frozen in front of my computer for 1 minute and thought "Juniko, eventually you'll have to press Play again if you want to know what happens next"
The recording scene was a "bit" cliché, so it was obvious that something was going to be recorded, but I thought if would be either something bigger, or that he wouldn't watch ir again and directly show it during the birthday party and that everybody would find out at that moment. But it didn't happen. Instead Tae Sang now realized she's afraid of him (I still don't know why) and became mad and even more heartbroken than before.

Now, I think that this episode changed Tae Sang and that Mi Do will one day come to regret all of this, because now she created a monster...
