Unexpectedly good!

When I read negative reviews for a drama I tend to keep little expectations. I have been putting this off for so long but gender bender seem quite funny to me so I watched the first episode. However, I loved it! It was quite cute and the eye candy is great.

It doesn't need to have a very good plot because I happen to like cutesy stuff. Hope it won't become too boring later on!

This drama reminds me of Coffee Prince and You're Beautiful all into one.

I am watching this drama.

This has so many tings going for it. I love gender benders in general, and I have a huge weak spot for Gumiho stories. Plus, I am a writer so I know how hard it it sometimes. Not to metion it is only 10 episodes long, I prefer the shorter ones.

Another gender bender

To tell the truth, I wouldn’t gave this drama a shot if it wasn’t a gender bender drama; I’ve got a weak spot for those dramas but the manicure setting doesn’t appeal to me at all.

The first episode was okay, nothing extraordinary; it’s normal and the acting is average. Nonetheless, I will keep watching this with the hope that it will become more interesting.

Shitz driving me crazy....need to tell someone

I totally agree with everybody. This drama keeps getting dumber and dumber with each ep. The story line is just awful n I really like gender bender but this is just helpless. I can't understand why they can't fucking mind their business when it has absolutely nothing to do with them.( excuse my language). Every time I'm watching it u don't know how much I cuss bc everything move so fast n it seems like everything is forced. The main girl acting sucks. My fav is Kay, her friend n da cute blond guy. I'm only watching it bc I just luv Kay and I'm bored out of my mind, so there's definitely a possibility I might drop it. If I finish it I'll write a more expressive review.

*Spoilers ofc*

The only way you can write a book is by stalking random strangers. To do that you must turn into a tranny to work in the same place as he, a shop that discriminates against women. Seems legit.

All the the customers happen to have a hand/nail related problem/trauma and it's a must to meddle in all of those affairs...

You also must pick up & eat food that's found outside! (:

+ lots and lots more that I could rant about.

I just don't think I can handle any more of this ridiculousness...

I don't even understand why this kind of dramas get aired... Korea has that much free time on their channels? =__=;;

We'll see how it goes

I think this drama got off to an okay start. The nail shop is a new setting for a drama, and the whole girl-cross-dresses-for-some-reason plot is always fun, but since that plot HAS been used before, I think this drama will have to really find some way to be as interesting or more so than the other dramas like it.
A plus is definitely the extremely good-looking guys and female protagonist. Gyuri pulls off the pretty boy look very well when she is acting as a boy, but the one thing that prevents me from believing that any of the other characters would not immediately recognize her as a girl is her voice. It's just a bit too high pitched to make her cover seem plausible. Also, her pants are just a little too tight, since they don't hide her obviously feminine lower body as well as some loser pants would.
Can I just say how awesome the idea of a nail shop with only male employees is? Especially very hot and talented Korean ones! That's a dream come true for all us K-drama and K-pop lovers. We certainly like our ramen shops, coffee shops, nail shops, and all sorts of shops in dramas filled with flower boys.
On to what happens in the 1st episode, I thought that what the Nail Shop crew did for the soft-spoken couple was very sweet. The lady's nails turned out very lovely, and the fact that they were done to look like she had a wedding ring was beautiful.
One thing that's bugging me at the end is whether Alex actually thought that Yeo-joo brought the coffee (which she found outside the nail shop) just for him, or if he sensed it might be danger and took it off her hands so she wouldn't be the one drinking it. If it's the first one, then that's kind of...weird; why would he think it's for him and not that she just brought it in to drink herself? And if it's the second, then why would he drink from it and not just throw it away? Hmmm.

HUMMM?

It's moving kinda fast, but I'm still slightly interested. I will continue unless it gets stupid. Which is totally possible. The acting is kinda cheesy but it's supposed to be like a light drama anyway. I guess I can deal.
