OK so Im sorry but i could only find the french subbed one so if you ask me where i found it can't really help you ...

Story: LOVED it ! well it's just the basic BOF, HYD or LGWMS story except in shorter and simpler, now you have to know that i'm the type of person that hates complicated dramas or movies that drag the story until the very last moment read more so which is just my luck cause that's like practically ALL Asian dramas -.-
But i do think they focused to much on the fact that she was being bullied when they could have gotten deeper into the love affairs :$

ACTING: WAS SO BAD ! but in a funny why so it was ok to watch seriously sometimes my fingers would curl ! OH and I HAVE to mention Domioji's HORRIFYING word rob times change and so does fashion so maybe his cloth to me seemed a little bit over? i don't know but just didn't feel the pants that are tight around the waist and the vests with nothing under...

MUSIC: Lol the music from my parents age like the 60's or something like that i actually like this type of music :) loved the last song had me "dancing" more like wiggling on my bed :D

RE-WATCH: DEFINITELY ! i had a blast watching this it was funny, cute, short, sometimes embarrassing (acting, weird but entertaining and interesting to see the original BOF where it all started :D

OVER ALL: 9 cause i feel that they didn't show enough love scenes and to much bulling :$

As a fan of the huge, multi-cultural, franchise that is HYD adaptations, I had to watch the ancestor of them all. Made in 1995, you should be warned that this movie showcases some of the most hilarious outfits I’ve ever seen. I mean…Domyoji, if you’re so rich, why can’t you seem to afford a shirt to put under that hideous vest you wear everywhere? Anyway, if you can get past the 90s read more vibe (or appreciate it as added humor), this movie actually has a lot of positives. It takes the familiar story (in part at least) and manages to fit it into a movie without making the viewers feel overwhelmed. The acting was decent, if a bit over the top and it was really fun to see some Japanese stars back in their young days (Looking at you Tanihara Shosuke). It was entertaining, and for something I only turned on in order to say I had watched it before, turned out to be better than expectations.

Yep, just like all of the remakes, just a real two timing slut, whore, skank of a lowlife scum of the earth tramp Makino, not worthy of the ground she walks on. Only giving this a 2 for the betrayal by that C of a two timing tramp... Yet another EXTREMELY shallow and despicable writer!!!

Dude you really need to chill. I've come across your comments on other dramas and their ridiculously negative. Having an opinion about a drama is completely your choice, however please be respectful while doing so. There are many young kids on this site and such language is unnecessary.

Haha, I was being respectful, you most certainly don't want to read my disrespect of the character, actress for playing such a despicable role, and most of all, the writer. Seriously. I shan't be responding to anymore comments.

Worth it only to get a look at a very young Fujiki Naohito .... otherwise it really lacked substance and depth.

After watching every version (the Japanese drama version, korean, chinese, Taiwanese) I still could laugh and Enjoy this movie!! I think it was great, Not to mention it is an old movie and this is why I like old movies, they are so different and funny. In old days it didn't have to be a perfect movie to get great views. Although I really agree with the 'Doumyoji having all the money of the world and not wearing a T-Shirt' XD But really, I thought that this movie was cute and really great!!

its so weird seeing everyone so young!!
i admit the fashion was hilarious and horrendous, but luckily they didn't make anyone wear see-through plastic pants (TOKIO anyone?).

I enjoyed the movie but Shizuka's japanese was a bit awful hahaha

I know a lot of people are saying that the relationships could have been explored more but I feel like as this film came out while the manga was only up to about volume 10, the filmmakers maybe didn't want to go too deep into the relationships when there would be 27 more volumes that would do so.
That being said, I think i would've been nice with more relationship development.

Doumyoji dressed as a Studio 54 waiter in the 90's. All
the money in the world but he just can't quite afford to buy a shirt.
Makino in Mom jeans need I say more?

I really don't know what to say. I think, I didn't want to see Fujiki-sama's acting like that :D Come on, it was horrible, nobody was exception, and some scenes were just ridiculous. But I liked the fact, that it's a movie version, it's wasn't as long and - at the end - boring as the korean drama from 2009. Oh, and don't forget about Domyouji's outfits...they're hilarious! I think I will watch japanese dorama version, too. It can't be so bad with MatsuJun as the male lead :D

lol, I never planned to watch this movie, but then I realized Fujiki Naohito is in it (plus, Rui is my favorite character), so I went to check out this page. Seeing all the comments and reviews, I'm thinking that I probably shouldn't watch it after all!

LOL. dont know why Doumyoji is always half naked and he doesnt even have the abs to show off. and leather pants??? LOL. makino's acting is not convincing- it seem so anime like- corny. she is always shouting.

this movie gives me the goosebumps because it is so ancient- a 1995 movie.
