Finally

This episode is the first one where I felt comfortable. The other episodes had me pretty ticked off at the maltreatment of Shi On.

Plus, I am trying to figure out Yoon Suh's attitude. She is snappy with every one for reasons that I don't understand. At least I get Do Han's reasons for his attitude. Anyway, she had a better disposition in this episode. I may start liking her.

Lots of cute stuff in this episode also. :-)

Loss of life...emotions and professionalism ...hiccups

It's always hard on doctors/nurses when a patient dies...in this case a very young child. Such emotional episode~ I'm glad that she is still able to perform surgery despite having to go through that.

Toward the end, the episode was cute. It was cute when Si On started hiccuping when she hugged him...and he looked adorable in the tiger ears scaring little children at the zoo!

Tears, heart and knocking on heaven's door

Heavy all the way to the middle, the episode successfully shows what happens after a surgical operation fails--in the point of view of doctors and in the point of view of the parents. At the news little girl's death, Dr. Cha was desperately in denial and still kept pumping her chest. I already felt tears well up but they only fell when she broke the shattering news to the anxious parents. It was too heartbreaking. :'(

***
I think Prof KDH has already reached a point where although he's achieved a level of professionalism, he's emotionally numb. You have to give him credit for being responsible and him putting work above everything else but I cannot understand why he has to go about giving Si On a tongue-lashing every time. Or for that matter telling Si On he's a robot when he's has got more heart than Prof KDH who pushed Dr. Cha to perform another operation so soon after her failed one. (Oh, I know it's for her own good so she can learn and get over it because she'll be handling more operations blah blah!)

***
Developments are in order--good and bad. With the re-introduction of Si On's mom, I'll expect more of that and less of Dr. Go--jebal! The cliffhanger this time is really interesting~! Looking forward to watching it tonight!
